Your statement that a cat can't get caught in these traps is laughable and grossly inaccurate. In 1 year of setting just a few of these, I've caught 2.
Question: why do people catch and 'RELOCATE' raccoons?? They are over populated w/o much natural predators and they are problem nest-robbers of species like Turkey and raccoons damage property and kill chicken livestock. Turkey populations are recognized by wildlife organizations as being low because of predators. Why are you just relocating the problem????
Thank you. Great tutorial.
You are welcome!
Very good demo
I caught a cat some years ago with this trap.
What brand vest is that? Cost and merchant too please?
do you set the trap before you press it into the ground or after?
Before
Maybe if you didn't drag that chain across the tailgate making a bunch of noise, you wouldn't get it caught in the tailgate.
Отличный капкан .Я живу в России, подскажите как можно преобрести?
Fntpost trapping supplies
I use a regular blade screwdriver
Thanks
Do you fill the trap all the way up with bait or only line the bottom?
Your question is filled to the brim with bait.
WOW

You said dogless... not dogless
dogless means supposed to be dog proof.... Like won't unwillingly catch dogs and other animals deer...

Funny you mentioned sardines as bait. Those traps may be dog proof, but they're not domestic cat proof.
