I’m a fan of the MRW 200H. Its a great little watch for very little money that you can do pretty much anything with without fear.

I’ve bought 3 of these watches, the black and white one you have in the review, a black and orange one and a white dial on the bracelet.
It has to be the best value for money ‘beater’ that I’ve seen.
I use these in the kind of conditions where I would normally use my Mudmaster but I don’t need the ABC features, and they definitely take a beating.
I also have a Luminox which looks very similar to this at 15 x the price and the only reason I would choose to wear it over the Casio is when I actually want the luminescent feature.
Absolute bargain, does the job well and can be sacrificed without any tears if you do manage to lose or break it.
cheers Ash - totally agree with your criteria there and I'm the same with my mudmaster - sometimes it's just a little too large and function heavy!!!
You can tell the time at a glance, the face is so clear and well painted, it just looks cool, you either get it or you dont.

i think i'm gonna fit this to my space suit as-well, it's such a hassle to take off the space suit to check the time while i'm out for a space-walk..

I ADORE this watch, wore one on a trip from the states kicking around the highlands of Scotland for two weeks, amazing (watch) stress free vacation, It does everything I needed, and if I lost it I did not care one little bit.. took _everything_ thrown at it, no issues. feather weight and no pretense... awesome.. Its an all.around everyday watch..I have two of those..green and the white dials...and I tell ya..very comftable and reliable..dont mind the scratches and everything..its very durable.

@thetimebombardier I'm way too posh for an anti snob watch, thank you very much Mr Bombardier. My $20 W800h is way higher class than your $10 F91W. Don't even look at me or I'll snub you. Gotta love the channel. On a more serious note, I think I may have bought a GD350 on your recommendation, and it is serving me very well indeed. The watch here also looks very nice, but I don't own one yet.

@@thetimebombardier The one I have is full black, marked with numbers 1 to 12, the color is white, the main thing is that this watch is very tough, greetings from Indonesia.
I can't see any reason not to have to this watch, I think it looks great as well, the day and the date is nice as well, also very easy to change the battery, and as said if it gets lost or broken, not a big deal.

On the contrary, the original springbars on these are pretty sturdy compared to any off-market ones you can get.

I've often thought any watch over $10 is _fashion_ I think this watch, at least in my mind, bolsters this theory.

Oh Yes.. Casioak pops into my head, Have the earth tone blue resin, great watch, and also went and got the steel, the steel is stellar, pics and videos do not do it justice.. all fashion tho, $100 and $200 for the steel.

@@waltersobchak200 the all resin looks slightly more uniform, and sorry but i've not had one of the steels on wrist and it might depend on the quality of that steel bracelet, can you get into a store to try them both on?

To tell you the truth, the price difference was very decisive for me at the last stage.
But I am thinking of adding MRW200H with metal bands to my collection in the future.

Got three of them...ordered one after another in order to find one that has the second hand hitting the minute indeces. Amazing beater but the quartz is loosing 3 sec/week. This is a lot for a quartz. I have automatic movts more accurate than this.

This is a £20 Quartz watch lol, wtf did you expect? According to the manual it should lose or gain 20 seconds a month, so your watch is not far off at all. How expensive are your mechanical watches?

casio lume is rarely good but you should have a little glow of these!!
Shine a decent torch on it, really close before bedtime, it’ll glow!
And whats the battery life ?
