"Thousand times better than load and reload"?! Can you even understand the vocal range and diversity of James on load reload? Can't get enough of dealing with toxic deth and even tallica fans...
I was in the audience that day. Unbelievable sound. Loud as f***, they oversteered the trebles to absolute max. No matter what they did on stage everything sounded like a starting jet. No band before or after them on that festival played at that level. I put some paper in my ears so the trebles were a bit dulled - and it was perfect. Still loud as f*** but perfectly played as a band so one thought you would stand right next to them on stage. I saw a lot of bands in the last decades but that gig is still one of my most impressive concert memories. Did I already say they were loud as f***? Compared to nowadays they were far beyond imagination. And I loved the album back then and still do.
Youthanasia is my favorite album too, followed by Cryptic Writings, of course RIP, SFSW and Peace Sells are amazing, but Youthanasia and CW were the epitome of musical maturity, and for someone who's a gearhead like me the tone was amazing.
Being a Metallica fan for +20 years I got to agree with you... Back then I rocked that cd all day, this track was awesome and, as much of others in that album, very underrated.
@AdammTheDude Its never been the end for Megadeth all there albums are good i can't think of 1 artist that has put out this solid a catalogue of albums.
He said he only uses Floyd’s on a small handful of songs just for that added warp effect, basically the only sounds they can’t get from just fingers (they don’t do the ridiculous dive bombs or anything). This is one of the only songs I know of that they use it
@AdammTheDude When the last track on The World Needs a Hero is a awesome track listen to it with headphones nice and loud that song is a unsung classic along with Warhorse that part will get you head banging for sure such a good riff! Risk also was not a bad album if you wanted thrash sure but its Pop lets be honest here its one of the best sounding Pop albums around much better than most the shit we have to listen to today. Its good for a band to have a wide creative field then one style only.
Youthanasia is criminally underrated. Such a good album and a thousand times better than Load or Re load.
Great Album agree with you

Dave looks uninspired here yet the performance is perfect...he's just a living legend man.
They made him shave the beard 😂

A lot of peeps don't get that Mustaine is emulating Plant, and for many, the face and the voice don't add up.

Marty Freedman impressive ☝🏻
Modulus Quantum tears down the stage \m/
I didn’t know Claudio Sanchez played for megadeth in ‘95. Weird.
Megadeth and Metallica weren't the only thrash bands that experimented in the 90s you know.
