Kiko, it’s really admirable that you welcomed Marty and allowed him to play some solos. Many other musicians would feel threatened. Thank you. It was great to see both of you on stage.
Kiko cant be threatened. He might be the best guitarist megadeth have had yet. He covers everything from former guitarists, and brought even more to the band. His progressive past with angra cant be hidden, and it actually gave new life and freshness to megadeth for the last 7 years. Dave is lucky to have him, and im grateful hes part megadeth ❤❤❤
Naa…Kiko feels no threats …they are both extremely great guitarists and have mad respect for one another
Marty earns more from his solo career than being Dave's employee. Nothing bad about this status. I'm just saying that it must be the greatest reason why he never rejoigned despite Junior's efforts to gather again him and Menza (R.I.P).

@@Diegocorrea_ingles4ever Well, it's not just about skills but the melody itself. Regarding lead players for Megadeth, IMHO the bests remain Poland and Friedman. Kiko is a fantastic musician but I like definitly more his contributions in Angra and in his solo career.
Otherwise, I can play Fade to Black's solos. I can't play any solo from Kiko or Marty correctly. Nonetheless, I definitely love Hammett's solos on Ride The Lightning far more than Kiko's on the last two albums of Megadeth.
Love Kiko. No ego involved, taking a step back to let Marty play his solos. No acting hurt or offended. Just a cool dude, a nice counter to Dave the grumpy old fart.

Tuve el placer de ver a Angra en Caracas, Vzla en el 2006. Increibles recuerdos con esta musica tan hermosa que crearon estos muchachos.

Now that they're fast approaching or are in retirement age it makes more sense to just let it ride and collect a fat paycheck than it does to be a resentful asshole about petty BS. P.S. @@toddventura7191 Somehow i doubt that Kiko gonna return. Ii saw them taking already band photos week or so before this leg of the tour even ended. Dave talked about in a recent interview that feedback has been very well about He's and Teemus chemistry and playing on stage. Dave also mentioned that when he close he"s eyes when Teemu is playing it sounds like Marty is there next to him. Interview is on youtube...radio interview.

Yepp!! Teemu joining Megadeth was already set around 2 months before the official announcement.
As they said leaving of Kiko wasn't a last minute surprise, they planned it and took Teemu with their self for a a few shows so he can get used to band and meet with others.

This makes me smile, I know there were never really any hard feelings when marty left but it's cool to see them getting back together to play the songs they made together and having all 3 guitarists just makes it cooler
Megadeth still gives me goosebumps live. Not too many bands from the 80s who can still put down their OG music live ans just kill it. Dave still takes his craft like he's 20.... Not all bands age like fine wine, but damn..... 7:38
When Kiko joined the band, i remember seeing lots of fans being mad about it and now pretty much everyone realized he was a great addition.

I don't know why Kiko should be "intimidated" to be honest. Kiko is one of the best guitar players alive, as is Marty. And they're friends.

@@grahfkarate1799 In my opinion Marty could even hypothetically want to return to the band, who knows, but Dave seems comfortable with the current lineup and pretty satisfied with Kiko. I'm a huge fan of Marty, as a person and musician, but i'm totally fine with Kiko in the band. He's bringing his experience with him and the band is letting him introduce some elements Megadeth never had before. This is healthy for the band longevity imo.

Kiko’s contribution in composition to megadeth surpasses friedmans’s in my opinion. No insult to Friedman. Kiko plays like no other when you listen to him snapping on his own original megadeth tracks

@@miltonmartins91Cris Broderick eh um robô no palco, mas a execucao do cara eh perfeita, nota por nota, toca conversando, nem balança a cabeça de tão fácil q eh pra ele, um virtuose assustador... a técnica de tapping and finger dele eh de outro planeta, alien... foi oq vi executar com mais perfeição, eh difícil até de diferir do áudio de estúdio. anormal.
Cada um tem uma ideia, mas pra mim o Kiko tem a melhor performance tanto no ao vivo quanto em estúdio

I was one of those 30,000 people who flew 8 hours all the way to Germany from the US for Wacken, only to get to the gates and be told we couldn't come in with the camper van we rented. What a shame, we won't be back.

I was totally blown away. The guitar and music in general was literally perfect.
One of the best live performances ive ever seen. Sounded better than the albums.
