This is the best interpretation of Mr Crowley since Randy played. And let me tell you, I have seen a lot of them. Some we're great but not like this one. The phrasing the clarify everything is there. Kiko is very tallented musician.

On May 25th, 1981, at River Flatt Jam here in Minneapolis MN I was in the front row after watching Motorhead and I stood stage left, in front of Randy Rhoads with the most beautiful woman I have ever dated pressed up against the barricade and witnessed music history. They came out with prerecorded music of
O Fortuna (Carl Orff song) and launched into 'I Don't Know' and my mind was blown. It was one of the most exciting things I have ever seen and you sir, Kiko, you are the best artist I have ever seen cover Mr. Rhoads solos. Cheers!

Appreciate your own spin on this. Randy’s staccato and legato to me are very stylistically original; almost piano like. May have to do with his playing his classical nylon a lot. It is always good hear someone’s own style naturally come through on a cover rather than wasting time trying to be someone else. Music is about self expression and cohesive creativity. I really enjoy hearing others feel and interpret other of a piece of music. especially one that is so iconic.much respect. Great delivery. 4:32 and on feels almost “playful” for lack of better words. Very awesome.

We actually opened up that show (OC CULT , a Cult tribute band.... I know, right), and I was blown away by Brian the drummer and seeing Rudy Sarzo up close. I wish I had known more about Kiko then. Killer lineup and a great show, especially for the size of the venue. 👍🏻👍🏻
