I have chronic AVN on my left side of hip. The bone collapsed and I have to have full hip replacement. All from drinking ALOT of booze for years. I had never heard of alcohol destroying bones. I'm 45 and paying for it now! PLEASE stop and get help if you have a serious drinking problem.

Keep fighting the good fight. I was diagnosed with AVN in all of joints because of prednisone use. Lack of blood supply to bone-bone dies, joint collapses. we have a public support group on Facebook. OUCH osteonecrosis.

If your avn stage is under 1-2 stage or 3 too
You can save your joints by
    Changing lifestyle
Diet, Oil massage to body, Sunbath, Regular non load bearing exercise and specific yoga, meditation and increasing immunity
Easy way to treat avn is
    1. Veg Raw Diet plan
    2. Ayurvedic medicine with massage
    3. Traditional Chinese medicine with massage
    4. Homeopathic medicine
    5. Deep Magnetic Resonance Therapy ( DMRT )
    6. Shock wave therapy
    Cure of avn depends on
Stage of avn , Age factor, immunity, body weight and thinking of patient.

There's absolutely no reversing AVN. It only gets worse. I know this because I tried every trick in the book for 4yrs and it may have slowed it down but I eventually ended up getting a total hip replacement because the pain became unbearable.

They don't do any "treatment" for us here in Canada. I caught mine less than half a year in. It's get your hip replaced or take a fuckload of painkillers and deal with it until the pain is so bad you need to get your hip replaced lol. I wasted a lot of time looking for solutions as well as ventured to London ON recommended by my "doctor" and they basically said though shit live your life with painkillers. Fun stuff especially when doing physical labour.

    • @worm_pentacle
      @worm_pentacle 4 роки тому

I also have (almost my entire legs) it for almost a year now and because of some complications it's gotten worse. I have it because of a chemotherapy so I don't know if it just applies to me, but there is no real "treatment". There are some things that could potentially work (hyperbaric oxygen therapy, relief through microfracturing of the bone, physio therapy, transplantation of healthy bone, ...) but haven't been tried out often enough to confirm that they work... it can heal, depending on how bad it is and the age of the patient... Anyways, I hope you are better by now (: and sorry if my English sounds bad but I'm kind of a beginner (I learn it at school since 4 years) ... (:

My ortho tried to prolong joint replacement by giving me two different medications. One to build bone, one to slow my body down from carrying away dead bone. He said dead bone is just as strong as live bone. I had both hips replaced and my knee replaced after numerous failed ortho surgeries. The other joints have so far been in the same holding out. It may have worked, might not, I'm not sure. I was 22 when diagnosed I'm 34 now, I had to get replacements as 28 & 29. Good luck to your daughter!

I have tried to take my life by taking a bunch of pain meds witch did nothing ... I don't sleep well because the pain gets so bad... I couldn't be there for my kids growing up because I hurt so bad there 21 and 22 now and I have a grandson who's 1 that I wish I could do things with and can't ... like I tell my husbend I'm just a waste of space... and useless to all ... Hi I am39 years old female from Philippines. I also suffer AVN. I dont like titanium in my hips. For 3 years my two hips are already affected and I'am almost lying in bed beacause of pain, cant no longer climb upstairs and lossing up hope. I search an other option because I dont like surgery, AVN dont stop even if you go on surgery and it will probably affects all the joints. But then I found a food supplement that is so very effective in this case and now I can able to climb upstairs and walk in a distance without pain. I tried many food supplements but none of them treats AVN until I found this product that helps me a lot. Its DNA repair and cell/tissue regeneration,it repairs joints and cartilage. Remember that AVN occurs because there is no blood supply in the bone thats why cells and tissue dies. Why go on surgery if there is natural treatment. I just want to help and share the option that I use in treating AVN. email add ( uachomedeco@outlook.com)

I'm 48 and I started noticing hip and back pain many years ago. I was on my way out the door for work and I slipped on some ice and came down on my side. Several days or weeks latter I started having a very noticeable limp. I went to the doctor and he told me I was in stage 3 almost at 4 of complete hip collapse which in fact happened. I ended up doing a total hip replacement on both sides and have peripheral nephropathy in my hands and feet. Both of my surgeries did not go well in my opinion as I still have pain in my left after having the surgery sep 17th 2016 and the last one just 3 days ago. He told me I would be up and walk around with hardly any pain. This latest operation was horrible because I am in excruciating pain and can barely walk walk even with a walker. I have gotten a lawyer and am pursuing possible disability. With this chronic AVN and other conditions it will be impossible for me to work ever again let alone almost bed ridden and racked with unbelievable pain the rest of my life.

Hi. I really hope you see this. I'm age 50, about 100 lbs overweight,& take epidurals in my lower back every 3 mos. I've been doing this for about 5 yrs now. I also take steroid shots in each hip about 3 times a year & have recently began needing them in both feet. I also have fibromyalgia pretty bad & suffer from pretty much every symptom listed for it. My back is a complete mess from a work injury 20+ yrs ago (thus the epidurals) Lately, I've had severe aching pain in both hips. Not really even my hips. More like where my entire leg attaches to my body. I've been reading & am wondering if mine could be caused by all of the steroids I've had or if it's just arthritis. Can't get in to see my Dr. till next month. Hoping you might have some insight. Thanks!

Diagnosed with AVN over 12 years ago. Doctors think it was due to radioactive iodine treatments for Graves Disease. It really hurts like crazy. Almost drives me out of my mind. Hip has fractured twice simply from standing up. It is a horrible disease that shows zero mercy. I had holes drilled into my knee to try and increase the blood flow. It did not work and caused me to have to have another surgery to try to straighten out my knee after the drilling It was stuck and I could not straighten it out. Both surgeries failed..

I have friebergs disease (a rare type of AVN) I had it in my right foot (the third metatarsal) and then I just got diagnosed with it in the left foot (the third metatarsal as well) I had surgery on my right foot, and I’m probably going to have surgery again if it progresses.

I have it in both my shoulder joints talk about being painful, I need joint replacement on both sides it's that bad, the only thing that helps is narcotics I use to get the steroid injections into the joint but it did zero & I mean zero but like a fool I kept getting them until me & my doctor agreed it was worthless, my doctor said I have the shoulders of an 80yr old man, they even had a problem getting the needle into the joint because there was so little space. The was a very slow process it started over 15yrs ago it totally sucks.

I went through a living hell with Avascular Necrosis. My surgeon said he has never seen hips like mine. He said it was like picking up a hand full of sand from a beach and it would just fall in-between his fingers. Whatever that means. So here is my concern. Doctors had no idea how I got it so I have no idea but I am going on 2 years now and I and still have pain. Everyday pain I can live with. However I am so worried about what happens next. Is there some kind of chain reaction. Whatever caused my hips to die wouldn't it be business as usually for whatever caused it. So now the hips are gone where does it go next? Whatever it is. Here is a question people that had ANV 10 to 20 years ago is there a common medical condition that they had after AVN? What if I have a lot of fat in my blood? Before medicine I had 900 Triglycerides could that cause AVN and then attack other parts of my body? And is sugar a cause of my misery? Thank you Happy Holiday

I have it in both hips they found it well over 10 years ago.. but wouldn't replace them the Dr said I was to young and would need them replaced again afyet 2 years , the doctor told me I had to wait for them to break completely off Before He'll replace them he put me in a wheelchair and told me I'll probably be in at the rest of my life I've gained 100 plus pounds now and I'm bedridden cuz I can't sit for long amounts cuz the pain gets so bad 52 years old and can enjoy life and I'm just getting more and more health problems because I can't get up and move around my knees are going like I said I've gained weight from not being mobile,, I tried to OD years ago because the pain gets so bad I have RSDS/fibromyalgia in my lower back my shoulders my neck I have neuropathy really bad in the bottom of my legs I have a hernia that spit fixed twice within five months apart and now I have to have it done again but I can't find a doctor that will do it around my area cuz I've gained weight.. I feel like my kids missed out on there childhood because they wanted to be with me all the time because they worried a lot about me... there 22 and 24 now and I have a grandson I can't enjoy much because I'm stuck in a bed ... it has me so depressed and I hate myself I hate life... I was told to go out of my state to a different Dr but I can't afford to do that... I think daily about taking my life...

I have a healing playlist. See if anything in there will help u! I’m sending u Lovee and light. Prayers to u. I understand. I was in the same boat. Now I can walk though it hurts. I did physical therapy and it really helped me a lot. Dr. Mandel and Dr Berg are great with free info on everything. Try some stuff. Be open minded and your situation can absolutely change. Check out vids on Ted talks with ppl who have chronic health issues and what they are doing about it. It helps release the sadness and give great info as well. It’s some really good ppl in the comment section that can related to u. Talk it out ! Keep fighting . Set goals one day at a time. I lost 40 pounds in 6-8 months by chasing my eating ! U can do it. Try dr sebi diet and my playlist HEALING as well

I have been in pain and limping now and use a cane since the end of june
2016 after countless xrays and 2 mris my ortho doc says im not getting
blood to my hip joint, first they tried therapy didnt work,5 different
pain meds celebrex, mobic, diclofena, nothing helps with the pain, sometimes
ibprofin helps a little. As soon as I stand up and put wieght on it its
very painful. So my doc is sending me to a chief ortho dr for a secound
opinion about having this decompression surgery.Im not so sure what to
do ,I dont want to have this done and still be in pain ,does anyone know
what the success rate is on this?Or would i be better getting a total
hip replacement im 62 and i cant take this pain its been 4 months and my
appointment is nov 8th with this other dr for 2nd opinion. This really
sux .what is homoeopathic treatment?I was able to walk with no problem
up until this crap happened. I already had 2 hip replacements on my left
leg the first hip part they put in in 2007 and then had a recall 2010
and had that part taken out and replaced, lol so at least i thought i
had a one good leg left meaning my right leg ,but now this is happening
and my good leg is going bad on me with this circulation problem,I would
appreaciate any advice or suggestions on what to do hip implant or
decompression surgery Im in pennsylvania im not sure they even do this
in my state,,Thank you wish i understood what that guy was saying in
last part about his situation....thank y
