Nice vid. Bit confused with movement through spaces. So if the tile has a size value of 5 does it cost 1 movement to “ discover’ and move into the tile, then a cost of another 5 movement for its size to move through the space, then another 1 movement to discover another space?
It costs just 1 movement point to move to an adjacent location. If you are going to move across the location, then it costs its size. Not it's size plus 1. But then it will cost 1 movement point to move into the location adjacent to the one you crossed. So, if you move into an adjacent location that is size 5 it just costs 1 movement if you are going to stay there. If you are going to cross that location and move into a location on the other side, then it costs 5 to move across and 1 to enter the new location, for a total of 6. Does that make sense?
Hi, If I remember correctly, you can play any number of command cards on your turn. But you can only play one command card when take a system test to modify the result. This includes combat. Ops cards can't be played in combat and usually have a requirement that needs to be met. You can play crew cards to your ship for their ability, and they usually have an ops or combat ability that you can use if you discard them. I think most of this is explained in the video if you watch the rules explanation.
It's been a while since I played, but yes, I believe that is correct. Can you point me to the timestamp in the video where you believe I made a mistake. Thanks.
Thanks for the info. Just brought the game.
You're welcome. I hope you enjoy the game.

….also what happens to crew cards etc attached to ships if the ship is destroyed?
If a ship is destroyed, all cargo and crew cards assigned to the ship are discarded into the appropriate discard piles.
when can you play cards? Is there a limit?

I thought when you have any encounter your movement automatically stops?
