Should have another list of "Hero Ships" that there was only 1 of or we only saw once. Schimitar, Narada, The Shrike, Voth City Ship, Krenim Timeship, Borg Tactical Cube, V'Ger?, General Changs Bird of Prey, any others?
True. Though the D doesn't have any blind spots, the Enterprise E also has saucer separation (not shown) and quantum torpedoes which are MUCH more powerful than photons. And it took the Enterprise E to crash into the Scimitar in order to disable it! Borg Tatical Cube being the strongest of Borg vessels. And I would replace the Jem Hadar fighter with the 8472 bioship that are capable of decimating planets. USS Vengeance is from a parallel timeline and The Doomsday Machine isn't (canonically) a ship, but a robot.

Lot of omissions: Species 8472 bioships, the dinosaurs from Earth, the android ships from Voy ep Prototype, The Dooomsday Machines, Sovereign class, Krellan Timeships, the Aquatic Xindi ships, the Scimitar (though that was a one off)
Sadly we have no idea how the Voth (the dino's) fight and how powerful they would be (outside sto), but considering they just beamed over an entire starship, yeh their offensive capabilities may dwarf everything but V-Ger.
@PassiveSmoking Are you talking about the ship that took down 5 ships and voyager? With its conventional weapons. Wasn't it still in one price after janeway rammed it? If she hadn't hit the temporal core, the ship would have been fine.
Prometheus class, Sovereign class, Akira class,Steamrunner class,Species 8472 Bioship, Krenim warship and many more that I can’t be bothered to name. I’m not to sure about the accuracy of this list….but it was enjoyable 😊
I have seen multiple people mention V-Ger, in and of itself V-Ger was not a starship, it was a satelite that crashed / entered an alien civilization's sphere of influence who then determined what V-Ger's programming was, they themselves built an entire construct around V-Ger and then sent it back on it's way to earth to deliver all that it had learned during it's journey back to it's creator, so in reality V-Ger had no propulsion and or weapons itself, it was the construct that moved V-Ger and protected it. At least that is my interpretation of what happened.

The Pralor vessel from the Voyager Episode "Prototype" basically disabled Voyager in 10 seconds. The hive ship from the Voyager episode "Distant Origins," etc. It's a nice list, but i agree with the comments section. A part 2 or a reboot for this list could be a good idea
I think the Species 8472 ship should have been on this list... especially in that one episode where they "combined" their beams and litterally blew up a borg planet
The Cardassian Galor Class was an outdated ship before the Dominion War started. In the TNG episode "The Wounded", the Enterprise disables a Galor's shields with a handful of phaser hits, but what clinches it is that Picard is frankly more curious why they attacked than worried, and he tells Worf to limit his fire to disable them. Once the Enterprise's shields are raised, Picard knows the threat is largely over.
The Galaxy class doesn't get enough credit for how insanely powerful it can be if it's tuned to focus on combat. It wasn't mentioned in DS9, iirc, but the Dominion war Galaxies came out of the dock yard with about 50% of their innards empty since all of the unnecessary components were either taken out on not installed at all. This left the Galaxy to be an excellent battleship-carrier hybrid and a command vessel, packing even more punch than the standard Galaxy class.
The Jem'Hadar "fighters" are actually called the Jem'Hadar Attack Ships. The Jem'Hadar DO have "fighters" but those were smaller, much more comparable in size to the Peregrine-Class fighters and the Danube-Class Runabouts. The Jem'Hadar Attack Ship was a larger vessel, roughly the size of a frigate or a small escort, like the Defiant-Class, the B'rel Bird-Of-Prey, and the T'Varo Light Warbird.
I think you should flip the Romulan Warbird and the Galaxy class. Warbird in universe is reported to be more powerful than the Galaxy class. It also has the cloaking device, which gives it a huge advantage.
Sean's comment that "Sometimes, its more about the pilot than the ship itself", echoes what Captain James T. Kirk told Kate Janeway in the Star Trek novel "Dark Victory" by William Shatner: "You don't have to defeat the ship. Just the man." Glad that the USS Defiant and IKS Negh'Var made the list, but the Constitution class Starship should've been cited as well. Why? As Captain Kirk noted to Anan-7 in A Taste of Armaggedon, after ordering Scotty to invoke Starfleet General Order 24- "The Enterprise will Destroy Eminiar VII." 'Nuff said. 🖖
I'd take a Defiant class or Bird of Prey all day! Just some tough, reliable and elegant ships! NX-01 would also be nice to have, but just because I like the "rough around the edges low-tech" approach contrasting previously seen iterations of humanity in Star Trek
I've never thought about asking this before, but what about some of the ships in the Star Trek reboots? In the first 2 movies, they had some ships that were almost indestructible, the first movie the Romulans and in the second Starfleet. Maybe you don't count the 3 rebooted movies as Star Trek, but there should be a mention somewhere.
I feel like there are some ommissions from the list. For example Intrepid, Sovereign, Species 8472 Bioship, Prometheus, every other size Borg ship, Krenim Warships/Timeship, Hirogen Ships, ect.
3 missing ships from this list: the Reman Scimitar from Nemesis. The Akira class, which took on Romulan D'deridex in ST:Voyager and just smiled while doing it (Message in a Bottle). That showed off the Akira's capability better than First Contact did.
I would say the Borg Cube was about 10 spots too high, if Voyager taught me anything, it's that a plucky crew and mid-tier cruiser can beat anything from a Sphere to a Tactical Cube on a bi-weekly basis.
As well as the Sovereign Class Enterprise E and the Species 8472 Bioships I was surprised the Renegade Borg Ship wasn't included. All the enterprise Ds weapons scored direct hits without damaging it at all. It was only destroyed eventually by a solar flare.
I would argue that less than half of these ships belong on this list because you skipped a LOT. The Fesarius. The Voth city-ship. 8472's bioships. The Krenim time-ship. The Scimitar. The Shrike. VGER. I'm probably forgetting others.
On Voyager, they transferred the Doctor to another ship which was ridiculously overpowered. Species 6821 (or whatever it was) on Voyager had ships that were ridiculously overpowered. Again, on Voyager, the time machine kept and entire section of space, if not the Galaxy, under constant control all they fiddled with spacetime.
I think you should have put the Sovereign-class in the place of the Galaxy. The Galaxy's a cruise ship in space, the Sovereign made its entrance fighting the Borg. There was a tad bit of a difference there.
That's O.K. You do have to keep in mind that a ship is powerful in an era. I don't know if you can make a similar list about the TOS or Ent era but you might want to try.
I just started watching DS9 with my girlfriend got to the introduction of the defiant and I was telling her how it’s one of the most powerful ships in the fleet and then I think the very same episode just gets torn to shreds. Then almost every other time is in a combat situation it gets beat the hell up. And she was like oh yeah, one of the strongest ships in the fleet, eh?
Sovereign Class and Scimitar I think should be pretty high on this, definitely more powerful than a Jem Hadar fighter or a Defiant Class. Also, honourable mention to the Intrepid class for it's ability to regenerate between episodes 🤣
Maybe no spec for it, but I'd bet the Enterprise J would be top of the list based on the likelihood of technological advances and use the astoundingly amazing Hyperbolic Torpedoes and Turbo Phasers. iirc the Defiant class had the same firepower as a Galaxy class, and being more maneuverable should be above the Galaxy. The D'Deridex should also be above the Galaxy I believe, though I don't remember any formal specs on it and the apparently newer Valdor (whatever the class) might be an improvement over the D'D. Many have already mentioned other one-off ships, Scimitar, Narada, Voth, and a few others. One I'll add is the giant Fesarius from the Corbomite Maneuver.
I dunno. I'd argue that V'Ger was inside a ship. Nero's ship seemed pretty hardcore. The USS Vengeance, The Scimitar, The Undine Bioships, The Voth City Ship... I'm not even thinking too hard.
I know I am falling for the engagement-trap here, but: Galor class?🤣 Common guys! The Galor class is THE ship that is frequently made fun of in TNG. Cardassian captain: " In case you haven´t noticed, there are three of us and only two of you!" Klingon captain, smirking: "We are so afraid!" multiple Cardassian ships including one Galor Class against the Phoenix which transporter code is known - result: one destroyed Galor class, no damage at the Phoenix...
Soverigns, that dinosaur ship from voyager, the timeship from the year of hell, the relativity, the whale probe, the scimitar- Im sure there are other one offs im missing.
ooohh! A towel isn't for flying! it's just sustenance while you try to aim at the ground and miss! But for Spaceships, probability drives are great fun.
You've definitely missed a few out there! The Sovereign class is more powerful than the Galaxy, you've also got the Nebula class which can be outfitted for either science or combat. The Prometheus with it's multi vector assault mode, also i'd wager the intrepid should be on this list considering what Voyager pulled off.
Too subjective. 10 is not large enough for this list, so many ships are about the same or just marginally better. How is a Galaxy class more powerful than a Sovereign class? No mention of a Vor'Cha class but a Bird of Prey? I can understand not listing the Akira class because we never saw it properly implemented on screen. No Prometheus class though? The Galor class does not even deserve a spot on the list, they were easily outclassed by a Nebula or Galaxy class.
The galaxy class should not be on this list over the Sovereign, and definitely not over the Jem Hadar fighter which dog walks a galaxy class ship, otherwise good list(defiant should be higher)
What about that dinosaurs species from Voyager in Delta quadrant? Those were lightyears ahead of tech from Voyager. That could be explored in another video. 💪🙂👍
Two major omissions: the Sovereign class Enterprise E and the Reman warbird Scimitar.

In the first 2 movies, they had some ships that were almost indestructible, the first movie the Romulans and in the second Starfleet. Maybe you don't count the 3 rebooted movies as Star Trek, but there should be a mention somewhere.
Fun fact, the IKS Rotarran, was a K'Vort Class Battlecruiser, the Bird of Prey you saw in Star Trek III, IV, V is the smaller B'Rel Class Scout!
I believe there will be a supplemental list to this one... Too many ships were omitted from this list.
No mention of the akria if I'm sitting on the bridge of one of those bad boys I fear nothing.
No love for the unrelated eating montage at the end?? 😂
I feel like there are some ommissions from the list. For example Intrepid, Sovereign, Species 8472 Bioship, Prometheus, every other size Borg ship, Krenim Warships/Timeship, Hirogen Ships, ect.
How did the Galaxy class beat out the Sovereign?
3 missing ships from this list: the Reman Scimitar from Nemesis. The Akira class, which took on Romulan D'deridex in ST:Voyager and just smiled while doing it (Message in a Bottle). That showed off the Akira's capability better than First Contact did.
The Fesarius from TOS would like a word.
I would say the Borg Cube was about 10 spots too high, if Voyager taught me anything, it's that a plucky crew and mid-tier cruiser can beat anything from a Sphere to a Tactical Cube on a bi-weekly basis.
USS Prometheus from Voyager's Message in a Bottle?
Sovereign?
8472 Bioships?
TACTICAL CUBE?
NARADA???
As well as the Sovereign Class Enterprise E and the Species 8472 Bioships I was surprised the Renegade Borg Ship wasn't included. All the enterprise Ds weapons scored direct hits without damaging it at all. It was only destroyed eventually by a solar flare.
#11. The Sovereign-Class battleship, Sean darlin'. 🖖🏻
I would argue that less than half of these ships belong on this list because you skipped a LOT. The Fesarius. The Voth city-ship. 8472's bioships. The Krenim time-ship. The Scimitar. The Shrike. VGER. I'm probably forgetting others.
A Akira with 2 K'Vort class bird's of prey would be a great little force and my two favorite ships
Undine bioshiips? IKS Bortesque? Trailblazer-class? Borg Unimatrix ships?
On Voyager, they transferred the Doctor to another ship which was ridiculously overpowered.
Species 6821 (or whatever it was) on Voyager had ships that were ridiculously overpowered.
Again, on Voyager, the time machine kept and entire section of space, if not the Galaxy, under constant control all they fiddled with spacetime.
Doomsday machine wasn't on the list?
Actually Sean, Growan's Flagship was called the IKS Sword of Kahless named after the Sword of Kahless of course I think.
I think you should have put the Sovereign-class in the place of the Galaxy. The Galaxy's a cruise ship in space, the Sovereign made its entrance fighting the Borg. There was a tad bit of a difference there.
No mention of the Krenim time ship? Thing can wipe out an entire species from all existence.
The galaxy class had 3 torpedo launchers, the saucer has an aft one for use when it separates
I'd like to see a Husnok battleship and Voth City Ship on this list.
I know I am falling for the engagement-trap here, but:
Galor class?🤣 Common guys! The Galor class is THE ship that is frequently made fun of in TNG.
Cardassian captain: " In case you haven´t noticed, there are three of us and only two of you!"
Klingon captain, smirking: "We are so afraid!"
multiple Cardassian ships including one Galor Class against the Phoenix which transporter code is known - result: one destroyed Galor class, no damage at the Phoenix...
8:58 There's only one Jem'Hadar battleship here, the close-up ones are the battlecruisers, intentionally scaled up to look more menacing.
What? The Pakleds didn't make the cut? LOL. Thanks guys! Great vid. 😊
Krenem Time ship could just delete your species from the timeline 😊
Too subjective. 10 is not large enough for this list, so many ships are about the same or just marginally better. How is a Galaxy class more powerful than a Sovereign class? No mention of a Vor'Cha class but a Bird of Prey? I can understand not listing the Akira class because we never saw it properly implemented on screen. No Prometheus class though? The Galor class does not even deserve a spot on the list, they were easily outclassed by a Nebula or Galaxy class.
Krenim timeship? Doomsday Machine (technically an automaton, but still)? V’ger (also an autonomous entity, granted)? Whale probe? Species 8472 bio-ships? Balok’s ship?
The galaxy class should not be on this list over the Sovereign, and definitely not over the Jem Hadar fighter which dog walks a galaxy class ship, otherwise good list(defiant should be higher)
You mean the Galaxy class that took on Phased Polaron Beams, without any shields for over 15 minutes and was still warp capable?
What about that dinosaurs species from Voyager in Delta quadrant? Those were lightyears ahead of tech from Voyager. That could be explored in another video. 💪🙂👍
The Voth. Their mother ship may have been the largest ship in Trek. I would have liked to see how it would do in combat.
