Dear Steven, one guy from Serbia loves the way you explaind this ISOFIX Nightmare 😅 thanks a lot, you are a very good teacher, cause I have 2 left hands, but after only 10min it worked, job done and I have now ISOFIX 🎉😊😊 if you are visiting Serbia for some wierd reason, I pay for one beer 🍺
BTW - do you still have the C-Max? If so are you getting water in the boot? It’s a problem on mine that I keep thinking I’ve got fixed but it comes back. Any tips appreciated!
So if i understand this right the isofix bar always there? And just the mounting holes that are missing? Looking to buy one of these and would be helpfull to know.
Hi Mate it's good that you're doing c Max been to repair my armrest since I had car I have try to get some parts for it but no luck also try replace temperature sensor but try to look at videos no joy,
Hey Sant, thanks for the comment, I had a similar problem on a focus with the heater plugs, one would not budge for love nor money, the only thing that worked in the end was soaking it for a few days in a mixture of rust off and WD40, and then heating the area with a blow torch while turning the socket, when the metal gets hot it becomes flexible. Ford engines of this era are known for this sadly.
It was a money maker in my opinion, a friend of mine was one of the top dealers in the UK and he told me they used to make it sound like a cheap optional extra on a new car.

Thanks a lot!
Mine is 2005 and wondering this too?
Did you guys figure it out I wonder? I just bought a 06 plate cmax ghia, and it would be great to know! Thanks.
Update:
Yes it’s worked! No matter if 2004 or younger, its works also.
I have this car 2,5 years ago, but just one month since I use the Isofix. 😅

Is there a reason why Ford is covering the Isofix latches? I mean even in my 2002 Chrysler Voyager they were open to use.
