Thank you very much. Before buying, check the seats and make sure the brackets are not already there as hardly any cars have the plastic guides and the brackets are well hidden.
Very informative, I’d never really considered ISOFIX wasn’t standard until 2013.. good to know retrofit is entirely possible. Would be interesting to see if it could be done for older cars like your E12 and my MB 190E.
Thanks. Some cars from the early 00’s had the the fixing points for retrofitting, so it was a case of “plug n play” like this one. The rest, will need drilling and a reinforced plate at the back. My friend Rui, the one that initially sold me the E12 and found the car again, suggested me that. However, I’m also looking at installing inertia seat belts on the car (front and back) as the front ones are fixed and at the back doesn’t have any, but the fixing points are ready there.
Hi thanks for the great vids. fitted the isofix bar thanks to your video. can I ask what make of 360 car seat you have? I’m stuggling to find on that fits in the mk2 focus.
thank you. ISOFIX fitted with no problems. again thank you☺
You're welcome, glad it helped!
Another excellent video, I'm glad I've found your channel as I've already bought some MK3 washer jets and this is now on the to buy list, thank you.

@@GentilsGarage That is a good point, I have the titanium model so they could already be there but hidden. Thanks for the advice 👍

Easy and simple video 👍
Thank you very much
The seatbelt clips can go into those holes in the plastic trim next to the small rear windows to keep the belts out of the way
That is true, but I always forget it when I fold the seats down 😅😅

The seat is a Joie 360, but for it to fit properly I had ti adjust the front seats. However, they seem to fit better on my wife’s Mk3
Well done, Gentil 👍🏻
