The only complaint I have is the lack of Ancestral gear. It should be rare but it's ridiculous. I feel like I'm doing the content but not getting anywhere. That's no fun
i get that feeling in t2 ... it's like - the item level doesn't drop high enough to match the difficulty level - it's still playable, just somewhat stifled ... i didn't feel that way in S5 ... but S6? i dun even feel like starting another character :(
Yeah it does need some work. That and the fact that ancestral are the only items that can drop perfect aspect but they also roll a dog 💩 aspect as well needs to be adjusted.
also all ancestral items MUST have at least 16/21 aspect roll, not 1/21 or 2/21 every time. Then their idea with gradual upgrade of codex actually work.
@@mapron1 exactly ... i dunno what's the dev's vision on levelling ... i thought they got it more or less during S5 ... but S6 hmmm i'm not sure if it's me being too used to S5 or something's off ... i'm pretty invincible on T1 but after that it feels like a broken kite ... nothing works - helltide chests or tree of whispers gave pretty shitty loot ...
Scroll of Restoration (SoR) Would be nice if Scroll of Restoration can be used again even each time is doubled: 2nd time: 2x SoR 3rd time: 4x SoR 4th time: 8x SoR 5th time: 16x SoR …
I agree too and what also bothers me right now is, that you have no indicator, if you have already used a scoll on an item. For example, i have really good gloves on my char and i want to put different tempers on them, but i cant remember if i have already reset them in the past. And there is still one try left, which means, i cant just check by clicking on it with a scroll (you need to spend all trys, before you can apply the scroll). So i could risk it and use that last try. But if i have already used a scroll on the gloves, they are now bricked.
What has aggrovated me more than anything this season is when i go out of my way to stack exp buffs to attempt leveling and the game crashes and ya lose it all materials and time just up in smoke.
after 4 or 5 go do something else and let it be until later. if u got the same thing 5 or 6 times in a row youre kinda stupid to keep pushing. if a item is that kind of value why would u just keep smashing your head into the wall...........
@@trentdubs9990 Because if it's truly random like the game says, then it makes no difference if you roll it all at once or spaced out. If a roulette wheel lands on red 14 times in a row, it's still a 50/50 chance the next spin will be red....whether that's 2 seconds or 20 minutes after the last spin.

63 procent are spiritborn players. If you nerf the spiritborn now those people that put all time and effort in their built will be pissed. This is the right choice at the moment.
@@donkerwin7853 I've tried. Even tried uninstalling battlenet and reinstall. I've tried rolling back Nvidia driver and a bunch of other things. I never had an issue before DLC and I'm obviously not the only one experiencing this as rykerr mentioned it in his video. Its 100% on their end. I'm glad it's not for you but there are a bunch of us who are and it sucks
Why would they bugfix a game when people will play it anyway? People see the SB is bugged, and big strong, while nothing else is.. and buy the DLC.. Its literally lose lose.
The only good season was S2, in retrospect. It's sad. I wish they'd just sort their shit out and make a decent game. Then again, maybe the fake positivity in the press is why they can't do that. They keep getting rewarded for mediocre efforts, so why try? VoH was a disaster in terms of quality, and yet all you see in the press is how it was great and "fixed" the game and the story was better than the original campaign (lmao).
They do this every time they announce PTR. I get that PTR is important, but at the end of the day they're hiring the community to bug test for free. At the same time, doing a PTR 1-1.5 months in the middle of a current season is always the final nail in the coffin for said season.
What is actually wrong with some of yalls brain? Why would they make a change that only benefits a certain kind of player that made a build on the new class of the season when the majority of players don’t have the time anymore to farm for replacement gear/gold/mats to make a new build?
D3 invented season, they gave you your set to start with a few hours of grinding in 4 player you had everything , then it was the 4 player leader board , Whether people like that thing is irrelevant , the point is that's what the game design was for the seasonal game type This lot have not got a clue what a game is
@@KevinMannix-sf5zk "a few hours of grinding in 4 player you had everything" This was the problem. They learned and they're doing it better. If you think that was great, then I'm not going to tell you that you haven't a clue what a game is, but I will tell you that you're in the minority.
@@GoodEggGuy Ahh there is the fault in your maths and thinking, the highest number of people logging into D3 was around season 10 15 million , I repeat 15 million Your in the minority, POE for example peaks at 3.5m D4 is not reaching anywhere near 15 million The D3 season launch before they killed it in season 23 , was a huge race , HUGE race And you either hit the power ups (lucky drops) in your team or you didn't
We need full overhauls for each class minus spiritborn to bring them up. Remove the useless low usage abilities and reshape their game play and build potential. (Druid main*)
I'm disappointed about the diversity of builds that can reach high end tiers. We had so much of fun and good buikds in the past, now i feel stuck and nothing inspire me especially if i do not want to play the spiritborn.
Let them make as many changes as they want, I no longer have the enthusiasm and have given up completely, but it is nice to listen to what you say, you wore a diablo4 t-shirt on purpose, thank you for your very meaningful efforts.
Same. The essence of being mmorpg is lost here. Most people wants to play solo, blasting all contents by abusing bugs with trillions of damage. Most of my friends finished pit 150 and after that, they got bored cause the game has no challenge anymore.. while me, as druid, still getting the fun on the challenging contents.
I play a spiritborn and its fun af! but im not using any of the broken or bugged stuff maybe thats why it is different im on hour 100 now and im closing in on pit 105~ dunno what people like about playing for 15 hours and clearing 150 pit in 2 mins i mean what is there even to archive after you done it once idk xD
I played SB just to experience the new class. It wasn't until I tried to build a lvl 250 Sorc, that I realized that you're getting nowhere in the pit with anything other than SB.
So why all these "unintentional interactions" were there in first place? Do they even test their stuff? Didn't they have months to test Spiritborn before expansion and realize it is too OP maybe? or it was perhaps an intentional move just so blizzard can get more 💰
Why test their stuff when you have already bought the game and will play it anyway? Of course they don't test their stuff. We are a year and a half in to a paid beta test at this point lol
You haven't bricked a single item?! I find that hard to believe 1 GAs are still very easy to brick I have bricked two of them I bought off the market board so far... wasted about 80 billion gold.

Diablo 4 is a fantastic game for casual play. But if your the type of person who buys in HARD and plays the content inside out and backwards, D4 fails in many regards.
Yeah I think season 6 blows and quit playing but I know eventually they will put out a season that brings me back to playing the way S5 did. It's how it always goes with these games. If you played PoE during necropolis and heard what people said you would think no one was gonna play PoE again then boom settlers launches and eveyone loves poe again

That being said, there was no oversight, the build is as powerful as intended, and is 100% bait for impressionable people to buy the expansion.
@@Yusei255The fact that it's so broken because of bugs is even worse than the SB just being overtuned by a lot. It's just incompetence all over again, it's difficult to perfectly balance everything but the skills and interactions shouldn't be a part of that imbalance.

The thing they need most is saving your paragon boards. I would love to change playstyles, but its such a chore to experiment. The second thing they need is a reason to explore the world. Boss spawns with high chance 2GA-4GA item and 4000 obtucite after you find all hidden scrolls in an area.
The summary: 1. Next week is another campfire to announce armory 2. Spiritborn nerfed in S7 3. Still not fixing incense/elixirs being wiped on crash/logout
not fixing spires in IH, not fixing shrine (who said damage was the problem? it is the speed that is problem, it can have infinite damage and still suck), not fixing Scroll of escape drops, not fixing tempering, not fixing unique items bugs, like it just trash of midseason patch
@rhykker I like your comment on the eternal Paragon 300. So far I'm about 250 and was feeling pretty bad that I'm not likely to get to 300 before the next expansion. I just want to see that I'm on track to get that unlocked before the next expansion or else I'm just totally demotivated.
The fact that Adam Jackson said that the hunt for maxed aspects is "working as intended" really made me lose faith in him. There's zero respect for player's time first of all. Second, any ancestral drop always comes with a pause to see if we can actually use the item, and about half the time, we can't. Then, you look at the aspect and it has a very wide range where it can roll, so chances are, you're SOL. They need to make ancestrals great, so when one drops we get that dopamine rush because we know we can use it. The way it is now, it's shit. Complete and utter shit. They are so out of touch I really don't even want to log in anymore this season.
Same, I think I’m done with this season and will wait for POE. It’s ridiculous how long it takes to upgrade your aspects. Just for the season to end and do it all again season 7. It’s not fun!!!!
@@ebonhawken574 poe isnt a game, its a spreadsheet, grim dawn is getting a new expansion, and titan quest 2 is coming, those are actual games, where one can find actual enjoyment lol
I have a LOT of aspects that are low ranked, and these are build defining aspects. I'm not a streamer and can't play the game for 8 to 16 hours a day to fish for that 1 item that'll boost the aspect by +1...out of 16.
Stop trying to finish everything in the season. It's a mindset thing. Getting to Paragon 300 and having all your build's aspects maxed should be something that only Wudijo and another 1% of the player base achieves in a season. "Good enough for your build to click" is where we're at, and I like that. Could they tweak the numbers a bit to help - yeah, I think they could. But is it "shit. Complete and utter shit." - naw.
Simple as this, the game is trash with no end game. The mythic uniques aren’t fun. There isn’t any ticket items to get excited about. “Masterworking is bland and nothing to it. So much I could say. Can’t wait for Poe 2!! GGG is where it’s at. Blizzard is the past. Fell apart after D2
The shrines are a detriment if you get a spawned timed event during a "Kill all Enemies" It adds an extra minute to a run. Running 3 Incense at a time costs a ton of Bundled Herbs but pretty necessary for the exp boost.
Suggestion for hitting multiple GA rolls and having Unique affix be crap. -For every greater affix you roll, the Unique power has increased minimum roll by 25%. So if you get 3/4 greater affix, your Unique power should roll AT MINIMUM 75% of its power. Obviously 4/4 GA would be perfect roll on unique affix
I don't think that would help that much for completing your codex and since you can just overwrite the affix I don't care much about low rolled affixes on otherwise godly legendaries... But they do really need to do this for uniques. I've found so many uniques that look like absolute god tier, until you see the low roll on the power and realise the thing is trash. Feels so bad. Or maybe allow us to forge together two uniques, transplanting the value of the power of one onto another?
*understanding how DOT WORKS* They need to make it as effective/efficient as vulnerable DMG. Maybe having a stat that speeds up the dot outside of attack speed. The issue I see with dot DMG is that it take way to many bells and whistles to proc at full effect. Peace and blessing happy hunting !
As always D4 community is mad, shocker ! lol I genuinely don't understand the hate. Were we supposed to expect new content for a mid season patch ? I thought mid season patch was mainly to bugfixes and do some balancing (only buffs btw). And it was obvious they would not touch the SpiritBorn. They learned their lesson and even explained it with the "strategy changes" (from S0 to S2) at the start of the campfire. Disappointed ? Ok sure. But they absolutely made the best decisions for the people who are still playing. And to heard them say "this was intended", "that was not intended", "we wanted this to be a grind, but it should be a fair grind", "we are monitoring", "we might change it in the future"...they are completely transparent and aware. Campfire is supposed to give us that. So it's a win in my book. You can be mad at the expansion story ending. You can be mad at the season theme (basically none). You can be mad at the Halloween event (KEKW). But mid season patch ?! Season was already over, at least for me. So maybe that's why I didn't expect anything ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also this season was yet another rework with expansion bringing D4 2.0. I'd rather they focus their ressources on next season to give us a big new content/endgame update...now that they supposedly fixed the core of the game :COPIUM: Anyway, great recap video as usual.
Because most of it is not the D4 community - it’s the PoE community and the “I hate Blizzard” community just coming in to shit on every single thing that the Diablo team ever says. I would hate to be a Community Manager. Worst job ever. People are so awful.
Very good video and thoughts, I hope that they will fill the gaps between builds of individual classes, make uniques more useful and tune the skills of each class so u won't see useless skills anymore.
I mean their unwillingness to target nerf Spiritborn is because of community backlash when they did it with any other class in the past. Everyone, and I mean everyone, even you Rhykker, complained; people review bombed, etc. etc. So...pick a side here, lol. I'm running around with other classes just fine; is it pushing huge Pit numbers? No. Does that actually matter? No, lol. I complete what I need to complete, get gear where I need it, and level up just fine. If a Spiritborn player wants to be 50+ Pit levels ahead of me good for them; I can hit 300 Paragon and have all the bells and whistles on whatever other class I'm playing just fine. It isn't like they're running around stealing my progression, lol.
Same for me here. My homebrew Sorceress struggles in Torment 4 exactly as she's supposed to do, and that's ok for me. I'm a little bit sorry for my Spiritborn pals that are getting bored of obliterating everything they touch, but just a little bit. The new difficulty system is going to be (at least for 60% of the players) a real thing only when Blizz brings the Spiritborn back from orbit.
Sure, you can have all that stuff. Just significantly slower than SB, and twice to 3 times as hard. There's no comparison between farming t85-90 pits to paragon grind, and farming t130s. Not even in the same zip code.
I felt the same I finally picked the game up last Saturday and I grinded threw the first 40 levels in a day and I'm going to shoot to keep on playing until I get to whatever version a t100 rift is now. I played Diablo 3 pretty religious but this game feels, looks, and is 3x better.
I am not a fan of having a campfire to promote another campfire. 9 times out of 10 we only really care about that 2nd campfire. I am generally happy with the season, but I don't know.. I do want to get to 300.. I'm one of those guys that sees the goal and just wants to reach it. Every season my season journey gets 100% complete, not just enough to get the rewards. But at this point, 270... I honestly don't even feel like playing at all. Sure I need gear upgrades. I need aspect upgrades. My Interdiction is at 9% (out of 15) and it has been there for almost all my time playing and it is annoying that in all this time I haven't yet gotten an upgrade. I get having the goal keeps some players.. but I also think it deters other players.
Best thing about Diablo 1 & 2 was it wasn’t a “speed farm” game. Slow progression and felt good leveling up and getting stronger. Maybe trash d4 and make d5 seasons are added events within the game, no new character creation every few months that you never play again. Maybe use the “season events” to add levels or mechanics.
Comments like this make me want to put my head through a wall. Clearly you didnt even play D2. So sick of people trying to use D2 as a talking point on D4 when they clearly dont even play ARPGs and whine about seasonal mechanics. saying d2 wasnt a speed farming game is next level ignorance.
@@lexide9432 No we need comments like this to help me realise to just give up ! This is what happens with every "balance buff". They'll give the weak classes a pathetic 10% to this ability and 20% to that ability, which is useless unless you specifically USE those abilities (which is almost never) when the problem is that another broken class is doing hundreds of _TIMES_ more damage. I don't need an extra 15% frost damage Blizz, I need ten times the buff to still laughably behind the average spiritborn with worse gear. It's like seeing your parents gush praise all over your sibling for just existing then glancing over at you and saying "Oh? Are you still here?" It's insulting because we aren't f*cking stupid. They _purposely_ made spiritborn ridiculously overpowered to slap anyone in the face that didn't pay for the expansion. You don't make a class THAT OP with a "Whoopsie!" Then runewords are so meh honestly IDGAF about them half the time and just equip main stat gems. After much better seasons 4 and 5 this is totally a "2 steps forward, 1 step back" but far worse because we just PAID for that big step back. I stopped playing weeks ago and with this campfire I'm not sure I'm coming back for S7.
@@mapron1 I don't care about closing the gap to a broken class that's so OP it's boring, I care about being viable in torment 4. And by viable I don't mean being barely capable of killing, but actually being able to farm there. If they're happy everyone is viable in torment 1 that shows they have zero intention of making every class balanced, let alone every build. You could completely remove the spiritborn from the game and every other class still feels straight up bad because enemies did _not_ stat squish as much as players did and that's obvious. Being 10x more powerful would feel about right. That would put torment 3 about on par with previous tier 4, which is what they claimed it would be. You used to be confident rolling into Tier4 as long as you had your build online with the proper aspects and gear. You are NOT rolling Torment 3 with a fresh 60 without leveled up aspects, strong rolled uniques, and more than a couple GA items. Not even Torment 2 unless you already have paragon from a previous toon. They scaled difficulty far more than they claimed, then made the class you have to pay for the only viable one to play the top content.
@@zodwraith5745 I agree, idea of T1 as low bar was bullshit from the start. In D3 we immediately go to T16, in D4 to T4, all other difficulties does not matter.
I am willing to wait until the full patch notes, but it was quite underwhelming and I don’t think it will be too much different. They could have at least teased S7 theme or something, if there even is one now that we are currently in the third season without a true theme.
spiritborn broke the game. devs really need to go in-depth and redefine the classes and mechanics in a way that's in par with the spiritborn. it's clear that 2 different groups created the base game and the expansion. the expansion group should've created the game from the get-go tbh
To bad that free to play game wants you to pay for beta access. I plan on checking it out but I'll be waiting for full release. Their micro transactions cost more than Blizzard's. 🖕 That
I managed to avoid getting the expac to see the reviews. People said game was okay and as time progressed, seemed like opinion got worse rather than better. Now I still haven't bought expac and am just looking more and more into PoE and seeing less and less reason to give any more of my time to blizz. Crazy to me I am not purchasing a diablo game, what is possibly my most played series of any video game ever. They've managed to suck all the life out of this genre. PoE looking quite good. Not sure if the best approach is to get into early access or wait it out. I may use a similar approach as with D4 - if reviews are good and stay that way I may buy in. I'm just really itching for an ARPG that is worth playing.

Blizzard just doing reverse Valve. But they instead of nerfing CM for no reason, they just buffed spiritborn a little and no nerfing till s7. What a fucking joke.

I genuinely think given how masterworking can be re-attempted an unlimited number of times, those scrolls also should, This aside, I appreciate the wrap up of the campfire and your continued transparency on your own opinions which often align with the community as a whole or otherwise are still well reasoned.
Novel idea(s) here: Fix all major/game breaking bugs always, immediately. Buff all underperforming skills/classes while making class balance and potential for build variety a priority. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i dont think we need the resto scrolls to be reused, but the fact its so needed shows more work is needed. i think we should use scrolls to choose a temper. then roll its range, make the range bigger i dont care i would rather have a shit roll of something i need than a perfect roll of trash
You said (paraphrasing) “someone logs in, spends 2 hours farming and has nothing to show for it, that isn’t great”, but can’t we play the game to have fun and not to make progress like a job? I still play d2 and it’s cause I love the combat and the rng of it, I need next to nothing so I never expect to get anything from my time but a good experience.
Since the balance issues are only really at the highest level of the game, they could just add temporary Class specific Mythics for all classes except for the SB that just have some form of "1000x damage" on it. Since SB still has potentially 1000x more damage than other classes even with the 1000x damage bonus, it would just make the other classes more fun to play comparateivyl to the SB for the last couple of weeks of the season.
PoE2 is probably gonna dominate D4 until they put in some proper story content with interesting and central characters from the lore (and paladin/crusader class). The base game had incredible story content. But this expansion is just .. so boring! No core characters, no big shake-ups or cool heroic moments, just you, alone in a jungle, and a bunch of randoms that you have never heard of and never will hear of again. I played the game, I finished the story, and I have no idea what name that elderly spiritborn who double-crossed you had. Or the name of that cliche evil knight guy that stabbed you from behind. They just do not have enough impact to matter, and what they bring to the story is next to nothing.
Unless they COMPLETELY rework the leveling to what it was PRIOR to VOH the game is going to stay dog 💩.. If I wanted Diablo III I would play Diablo III.. which Diablo III from release day til now I have less then 300 hours of play time.. from Diablo IV's 2023 release til a few weeks ago I have almost 6000 hours of playtime.. IV had a fun loop until VOH released.. now it feels like it got downgraded to Diablo III the crappiest Diablo other then Immortal
I still don't understand why Sorcerer can't have a staff on their back the way Rogue can have a crossbow. So dumb. Really need a 3rd enchantment slot too.
the biggest issue here is that you get stuck playing a build from a guide or your stuck in t2, or play the garbage broken class. amazing work blizzard, couldn't just give us paladin huh?
You're not stuck playing any 1 class every class has a build that can clear torment 4. Yes spirit born is the only class that can completely clear but nobody is supposed to be able to get that far yet it's only due to bugs
And you think they will nail paladin? I don't see the game becomes better with a paladin. And it will most likely be the same issues as spiritborn. I haven't played since season 4 but like to see what they are doing with the game. Noting have made me want to come back since season 4.
You are stuck in t2 because you need some more skillz. Any character with a decent gear can clear literally ANY content in the game on t4 besides only the pit, wich is capped at lvl 100 for xp so to flex being a SB that cleared a 150 pit using bugs its basically lame and gay, as Cartman would say
ancestral drop rates aren't horrible, but their aspects are always crap. getting those upgraded codex entries feels impossible within a season. How about a minimum aspect level that can be on an ancestral? What the hell is the point of an item level 800 item that has the same aspect level as a level 250 item? That's what feels bad.
I still managed to brick a perfect roll ancestral ring on my Rogue by getting cold imbune plus one six times in a row. I used the scroll, then I got cold imbuement plus one or two six times in a row again and bricked it. Felt so bad I haven't played since. Not that I couldn't farm another one, but I already completed everything with the spirit born and I was just goofing around on an alt. D4 is on the shelf till next season for me.
I think the biggest issue for me is gear. Finding good gear with multiple GAs is really rare even in the higher torment levels. By torment 1 most people have all GA gear yet rewards still drop yellows. I also hate the pit. Nothing is worse than slugging through a pit only to have all of the glyph upgrades fail
@@1978chrono exactly you are a casual, doing low level pits for each class u play. your spirit born should be doing pit level 80s as well and the game will be in a good place, the end game is meant to be hard..........
Conduit shrine should be based off your character avg damage prior to grabbing the shrine so you don't feel nerfed due to grabbing it cause if doing same or doing 15% more damage it wouldn't feel as bad
After the dopamine highs created by Season 4 and Season 5, Season 6 was a little bit of a letdown. At least, I thought so at first. I was at first concerned that sharing all earned paragon points with from a main with new characters will deter me from trying other classes or creating alts. This turned out not to be the case. While it is true that I've clocked in 221 hours on my Sorceress ("Prometheus"), and only 13 hours on an Alt Spiritborn ("Pandora"), this was mostly because I was having so much fun with the Sorcress this season, I didn't really feel the need to try an alt. And the grind to get to 300 with her is what's keeping me coming back for more. I'm on Paragon 260 now, and I can feel that the gains from Paragon alone are no longer present. So, I continue to look for better gear or to improve my existing gear through resetting their Level 12 Masterworking to try for triple rolls on Greater Affixes. But because it's also not so easy to get Mythics anymore, I am now incentivised to build and tweak my character in such a way as to not have to rely on them anymore as I did in prior seasons. In fact, when Prometheus finally found or was able to craft Harlequins Crest, Tyrael's Might and Ring of Starless Skies, I found that equipping either of them created more problems for the build than they solved, so I stuck them into my stash, not expecting to use them, until I eventually decided to create a Spiritborn alt. Hater will be haters, but I for one, am thoroughly enjoying Season 6 and am eagerly anticipating the mid-season patch, as well as news about what to expect for 2.1 and Season 7. There is still one thing, though... The only thing I wish now they would introduce into the game, is a feature for a "Complete Reset" at the start of a new season that is valid only when creating your FIRST character at the start of the Season. By this I mean when I create my FIRST Seasonal character, and then if I choose to play the Campaign with that new character, I want to be given the option of COMPLETELY resetting the entire World Map, Region Progress, Waypoints, Altars of Lilith, etc. And in doing so, NOTHING gets transplanted from the Eternal Realm to the new Season. In other words, you start the game from scratch as though you're a new player creating your first ever character. How Diablo III Seasons work - you start from nothing.
How is the power level of other classes in a good place? Why can each class have 1 or 2 viable builds while other abilities/builds are left in the trash? How is that balanced?
It is really hard to say, it all depends on how much the other classes will be buffed. I am hoping that they will at least be able to run a pit 100 in under four minutes, which would make it at least viable to upgrade the glyphs to level 100. Right now, a lot of players have left because the other classes just aren't playable and they are done with the spiritborne. This may get them to come back for the remainder of the season, but it will really depend on how playable the other classes will be. One thing that I noticed that wasn't addressed, was the fact that the aspects are not being maxed out at the legendary levels. This is created a huge problem in that a lot of us still have not got her aspect, maxed out. There should be no level difference between ancestral and legendary for the aspects, and I was hoping that this would be addressed in midseason patch.
Everything going up is almost the entire reason to play Diablo type games. Besides being too rare, ancestral gear needs to ALWAYS have the higher range for legendary powers, the 16-21 codex entry ones. It feels like complete shit to get an ancestral and have a min-roll on the affix when ancestrals are the only possible way to get the max range.
@@mapron1 yes exactly

I actually agree with this
I agree too and what also bothers me right now is, that you have no indicator, if you have already used a scoll on an item.

My question is - Where is QA ? How did SB launched broken ? Why basic things keep breaking with every patch ?
They fired them
Because the team needs something to do during the season :D if all is polished how will the devs do the hours to get the monthly salary
Majority of them got fired after the acquisition. (Though it's always been an issue so it's not like that's the root cause, but it doesn't help)
Why would they bugfix a game when people will play it anyway?
People see the SB is bugged, and big strong, while nothing else is.. and buy the DLC.. Its literally lose lose.
it was intentional
Next season guys, for sure we won't be disappointed!

Right because I won't be playing.
@anlkuyucu6825 Yea keep telling yourself that lol.
Campfire suggested they just want to move to S7… S6 = 💀
They do this every time they announce PTR. I get that PTR is important, but at the end of the day they're hiring the community to bug test for free. At the same time, doing a PTR 1-1.5 months in the middle of a current season is always the final nail in the coffin for said season.
i was hoping at least for a “new” winter event, good god am i still to kind to them…
What is actually wrong with some of yalls brain? Why would they make a change that only benefits a certain kind of player that made a build on the new class of the season when the majority of players don’t have the time anymore to farm for replacement gear/gold/mats to make a new build?

Most of my friends finished pit 150 and after that, they got bored cause the game has no challenge anymore.. while me, as druid, still getting the fun on the challenging contents.

It’s also made having paragon 300 and pit 150 titles meaningless. Oh well.
I played SB just to experience the new class. It wasn't until I tried to build a lvl 250 Sorc, that I realized that you're getting nowhere in the pit with anything other than SB.

2. Spiritborn nerfed in S7
Let me add to that. "Why do it now, when you can do it later."

Stop trying to finish everything in the season. It's a mindset thing. Getting to Paragon 300 and having all your build's aspects maxed should be something that only Wudijo and another 1% of the player base achieves in a season. Dude, there's a story progression via dlc. You haven't fight diablo and yet you want this game end immediately. Yo wtf.
Right, I really meant this for uniques, not legendary powers.
*understanding how DOT WORKS*
They need to make it as effective/efficient as vulnerable DMG.
Maybe having a stat that speeds up the dot outside of attack speed.
The issue I see with dot DMG is that it take way to many bells and whistles to proc at full effect.

So maybe that's why I didn't expect anything ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Diablo is about 500 games in one. those early games catered for everyone as much as the tech would allow
They were all programmed by people that knew how to game and they created games
These hired graduates do not know how to make even one of those 500 games work
The armory should be good, but would be great if Paragon boards and the Skill Tree get save states also, for quick build switchups.
All I can say is season 7. See you then, lol
Are you still here?"
It's insulting because we aren't f*cking stupid.
Ten? TEN? They can buff all classes by billion x and they still won't be as strong as SB, it is not easy to close septillion damage gap.
They scaled difficulty far more than they claimed, then made the class you have to pay for the only viable one to play the top content.

spiritborn broke the game. devs really need to go in-depth and redefine the classes and mechanics in a way that's in par with the spiritborn. it's clear that 2 different groups created the base game and the expansion. the expansion group should've created the game from the get-go tbh
Poe 2 early access is out in less than a month. Will probably never touch this game again.
Why would you go back to a quarter pounder when an A5 wagyu steak is in front of you?
@@Dave69besto More like going back to vegan patty, D4 is not even a meat.
Good for you princess.
1. AH inside game
Implementing the Auction House (AH) inside the game to facilitate buying and selling items.
2. Upgrade masterworking more (now until level 12)
Allowing further masterworking upgrades beyond level 12 to offer more variety and strategies for players.
3. More events for looting
Introducing more events for loot to enhance the sense of adventure and reward during gameplay.
4. Killing bosses after defeating many monsters and sub-bosses
Making boss fights more challenging by requiring players to defeat multiple monsters and sub-bosses before encountering the main boss, increasing the intensity and challenge.
5. Avoid repeatedly doing the same thing (like mastering glyphs)
Reducing repetitive tasks, like mastering glyphs, to give players more variety in their activities.
6. Dropping more frequent armor with GA and mythics
Increasing the frequency of armor drops with GA (Greater Affixes) and Mythics to enhance the sense of progression and exclusive loot.
Blizzard just doing reverse Valve. But they instead of nerfing CM for no reason, they just buffed spiritborn a little and no nerfing till s7. What a fucking joke.
You say you haveen't bricked an item, are you accepting mid rolls or going for high/max rolls? If you try to max it, you'll brick tons... I genuinely think given how masterworking can be re-attempted an unlimited number of times, those scrolls also should,
This aside, I appreciate the wrap up of the campfire and your continued transparency on your own opinions which often align with the community as a whole or otherwise are still well reasoned.
Put a fork in D4. It’s done.
Any news on the 2nd expansion? I’ve already played through the first
Novel idea(s) here: Fix all major/game breaking bugs always, immediately. Buff all underperforming skills/classes while making class balance and potential for build variety a priority. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well that dont sell the over expansive dlc... greedy corpo
They tried that, the community didn't like it. We're in the minority, so can't blame them.
Fun thing about bugs. If you take steps to fix known bugs, you normally make new bugged interactions.
Naahhh i'm done no more second chances Poe 2 will be my new home
Dumpsterfire
Haven't played. I believe you.
i dont think we need the resto scrolls to be reused, but the fact its so needed shows more work is needed. i think we should use scrolls to choose a temper. then roll its range, make the range bigger i dont care i would rather have a shit roll of something i need than a perfect roll of trash
Since SB still has potentially 1000x more damage than other classes even with the 1000x damage bonus, it would just make the other classes more fun to play comparateivyl to the SB for the last couple of weeks of the season.
the campfire was a joke... they even buffed the spiritborn... pfff
12:51 if anything, I think scrolls should drop less…
I would love to add an articulate and well thought out point to your comment section, Rhykker, but this is all I’ve got left:
This game sucks. 😢
:(
this game cant be saved. same path with diablo 3
its not meant to be saved blizzard will ditch the game once it doesnt bring in enough money
"We recognize Spiritborn are OP, but we have a sales goal we need to meet."
I love D4, but I'm not sure I'll ever put as many hours into D4 as I did D3... I loved the big boy damage increase with the sets.
Funny that. I hated how you were a wet noodle until you put on a set. Strange how different each of us players are.
Ya holdin on for dear life to this game. Just move on already. Diablo died long long ago.
haven't played in weeks, this video makes me feel good about that.
I always forget D4 even exists until I see Rhykker's face show up in my feed. What a dumpster fire.
I've fully bricked 20+ items during season 6, even with scroll of restoration, most of them were extremely good items too.
Uninstalled the game, I'm done, burnout, sick and tired of this crappy game.
See you in a few seasons :)
@@StefandeJong1 maybe, but that's not how games make money. That's how games quit getting funding ...
You don't need to announce your departure, you are not a plane.
We don't care. ✌️
Good bye 😊
Bye….
Think it sounds good. looking forward to see what they come up with next season.
Sounds like Blizzards buffing poe2
Feeling powerful and having fun are 2 things that will never be in the same build
the biggest issue here is that you get stuck playing a build from a guide or your stuck in t2, or play the garbage broken class. amazing work blizzard, couldn't just give us paladin huh?
You can play any class in t4.
You're not stuck playing any 1 class every class has a build that can clear torment 4. Yes spirit born is the only class that can completely clear but nobody is supposed to be able to get that far yet it's only due to bugs
I agree. It doesn't need to be "Paladin" but a similar play style
Ty for information! ❤
Soooo sick to my stomach the SB isn't nerfed. F these devs. I hate them.
ancestral drop rates aren't horrible, but their aspects are always crap. getting those upgraded codex entries feels impossible within a season. How about a minimum aspect level that can be on an ancestral? What the hell is the point of an item level 800 item that has the same aspect level as a level 250 item? That's what feels bad.
See y’all in 70 days. Fail. In so many ways.
Trash trash trash. D4 TRASH.
I don't mind the buff to the other classes for midsesson patch. I'm having fun playing the other classes besides SB
Casual gamer dad here, d4 good. 👍🏻
Same. I don’t get all the negativity. My son and I have been having a blast this season
More like a bot? how can you prove you are casual? what's your paragon level?
Casual gamer dad here, d4 good. 👍
I think the biggest issue for me is gear. Finding good gear with multiple GAs is really rare even in the higher torment levels. By torment 1 most people have all GA gear yet rewards still drop yellows. I also hate the pit. Nothing is worse than slugging through a pit only to have all of the glyph upgrades fail
spiritborn never needed a fucking nerf it was all the other classes that needed the buffs
no, u must be a casual.
i have a spiritborn that can do 125's-130's my necro and druid can do 80's the other classes need a 25% buff
At this point, just wait for POE2
The time it takes to fully upgrade aspects is ridiculous.
You don’t NEED to fully upgrade aspects.
How is the power level of other classes in a good place? Why can each class have 1 or 2 viable builds while other abilities/builds are left in the trash? How is that balanced?
exactly....
It's not they already made comments about season 6 and 7. This season is done they don't care
I think your thoughts about giving the other classes a Christmas buff is great, we want to play the other classes so the season isn't dead 🥰
Has there been any hints as to when/if a second expansion will come out?
I agree I wish all the adjustments would come next season, but people are struggling to find parties so the decision is understandable
