The Projector has Anti dust ? as i will be celling mounting it high where it is hard to clean.

llol 220ms input lag impossible : We measured the Home Cinema 880 input lag at 48.5ms so should be the same for the 1080 (they are basically the same just more hdmi ports )

@@HipIOReviews I have the 880 home cinema model. It does not have built in WiFi, but uses the ELPAP11 adapter. My streamed video, whether it be from iPhone or PC, is maybe 15-20FPS at best. There's a noticeable choppiness in it when it comes to video. This occurs on both the 5GHz and 2.4GHz networks. Any suggestions on a Network Setup tweak I may have missed?

What do you mean it doesn’t support 4k content? Like I can’t connect my chromecast 4k and it won’t downscale it?
is it more powerful then the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 2000 Tri-LCD Projector?
What would you recommend for a similar budget, but with bettee contrast for outdoor movie nights.
in terms of this price range, this is the only only I've tested. I only use this one indoors, but I think it would be good as I normally use my budget projectors outside and I'm satisfied.

I can only use it in ECO mode. Can't wrap my head around how anyone can use in normal mode with the jet fan at 37dB. I hardly notice the difference in light output so not really an issue.
I have mine mounted about 7 feet above my head while I'm sitting, and while I can hear it if I'm listening for it, it's not bad at all.
What is everyone doing with their projectors? Cuddling with em? Lol
You need good ventilation around the projector for it to run quietly

I use a brand called Pure Acoustics that is wired to my Yamaha Receiver. Pretty old receiver and speakers.. but they work well.

Unfortunately, I haven't tested the Nebula Apollo. But I really like the Epson 1080. Just remember, it doesnt support 4k
Is this projector compatible with a PS5? I understand the projector doesn't do 4k or HDR. But, will it atleast convert those signals to 1080p?

What’s the uk model equivalent? Really hate how Epson has separate model numbers for us and the rest of the world. Most of the times I see a review and then I have no idea what is the same model in my country. Is this the eh-tw750?

How does this compare to the vankyo 530w??
The Vankyo V530w is a great budget projector, the Epson 1080 projector is a entry level projector which costs $400+ more. Comparing the 2, I would pick this one. Lots of options to work with, colour and detail on the Epson is definitely more accurate.
I been trying to find a projector that doesnt look pixelated. Im hoping this one is good

I see a lot of horizontal lines in the videos. I dont think thats normal. Especially when its a yellow background.
Hola, yo tengo el Epson Cinema 880 por que son los que mas abundan aqui en las tiendas, tengo entendido que las prestaciones en cuanto a imagen es la misma que este, en esenas de youtube animales naturaleza del exterior se ve muy bien, pero cambia cuando quiero ver una pelicula mas cuando las esenas son oscuras negro = gris no se distingue bien las imagenes oscuras lo uso en modo ECO, no se si sera mi pantalla o sala, por el constraste bajo en peliculas, lo solucione algo poniendo una tela color gris en remplazo de pantalla blanca pero baja un poco los colores y brillo pero de la otra forma con pantalla blanca no se ve bien las esenas oscuras no se si sera la sala que tiene las paredes blancas, no es opcion pintarlas de color oscuro
If you are able to get black felt fabric, you can put that on the walls instead of painting them black to absorb the light bouncing off the walls

how did you plug an outside audio source , does the projector have blutooth or wifi ? ...but i guess you wont answer because i seen other comments and you dont really care it seems :(

Stuck between this or the optoma hd146x
I bought both to test. I prefer the hd146x image and it's very quit in ECO mode. Unfortunately i see rainbow all the time, so it will be LCD for me. also the hd146x gets extremely hot.
Has anybody had issues with volume control after connecting the fire TV? My fire tv connects but the Amazon control will not turn the volume up or down. Making me mad as the picture is Amazing!!

It's not bad, I have my projector mounted just above my viewing area, when watching a movie I don't really notice it and never had anyone complain. If your using it in gaming mode the fan actually reduce.
So will this projector accept blue ray content?

No, I think the next model up accepts 4k and downdscales to 1080

Owners manual is poor at best....I just got one and they went out of their way to confuse the customer........

Tough to beat Epson below $3K, untouchable below $1500
I prefer the Epson 3xxx series- 3500, 3700 etc
Sony and JVC rule the $5K+ roost.
Since 1999 I've had Mitsubishi, Sanyo, Panasonic.
Epsons since 2007, HC 720 through current 3500
