Every projector has its own pattern. This was the pattern from his JVC projector. Yours should have one.

Professional tip if you watch your home theater drunk. Have five or six shots of Yeager and a few Coor's lights. Get a little double vision going. Next warm up your projector for an hour while having one more shot with a beer. Next, try to find panel alignment in the menu. It could be anywhere at this point. If you find it close one eye and try to get the lines to look white, take off your sunglasses if you can't get it white. Done.

Of course it only takes Zack 10 to 15 minutes to level the image with the screen 😥🙏😅😂🤣. The rest of us are an hour in and breaking things and swearing 🤬 🤣😂

Some projectors like Sony projectors have lens shifting that makes this much easier.

Great video as always. Question for you, when you are shifting the projector to either side, are you moving the entire projector over or is it more of a rotation?

You never want to rotate your projector, you always want it's beam perfectly perpendicular to the screen. Even if you can't mount your projector dead center and need to lens shift it some to the side

Think of it as making rhe lens plum parallel with screen. you can "rotate the PJ" left to right to make sure that its true.
