Great job Sal, nice clean repair! you have engineered those tools perfectly for jobs like this. A standard round bar would have potentially have slipped on a tough Aluminum dent like this creating more damage! But no problem for your flat bars! 👍
yep you got it right and I started out with rods like everyone else and I know that dreaded spin out and how awful the damage that can be created. Definitely the main reason I invented other ways because spin out is the nightmare to avoid for sure.
Thanks It always feels a bit scary to sit on tools and apply that much force but this dent was lined up perfectly for the risk. The middle part of the crease happen to line up so perfectly in the middle of that FlatBend Tip I just tilted left and right and was able to roll the crease back out. As you know in Pdr you got to inspect it all to see the clues on how easy it could be if you just took a look first.
Great job,Sal!
Thank you very much! when it comes to this trade the slightest bend in the tooling can make all the difference. Be well have fun!

For such a long reach crease that was impressive

Good job, extreme dent.
I have a similar dent, is it safe to do it without heating up the paint first? Some repairmen do it before applying any force to it.
Heat is always best first but with Tesla not necessary, because the paint is applied by electrostatic and rarely cracks.
@@dentexperts Thanks, I hope I will not end up with a new trunk cover ;)
