Great recommendations! I really enjoyed convenience store woman, boulder & in the miso soup. the nursery & paradise rot sounds interesting, I’m intrigued. ❤
I love “The details” and have met the author in person last December ❣️ Favourate as also the book ot Murata and “The Yellow paper. Currently reading “Boulder” and enjoying it.
You deserve so many more subscribers, Kari :-) Your book choices and tastes sometimes remind me of one of the first YT'bers I ever subbed to, Jen Campbell (I think you'd like her channel!) I've got The Convenience Store Woman on my Libby TBR, but these all sound interesting. I just recently listened to Almond by Won-pyung Sohn, which was very good though 270 pages it's still a great short read. Another older book I think you'll like is The Wasp Factory by Iain Banks. It's very dark, but very good. For Fantasy, again well over 200 pages (350-odd, I think) I recommend the excellent Godkiller by Hannah Kaner. A very short book for Fantasy, but the pace is very fast and snappy, and much happens without being rushed.
I just found this channel and I love it 💜 I’ll think a book shelf tour would be asome!!
thank you 💖 a bookshelf tour is on my to do list!
