It looks like you covered all of the Parisian book shops that sell books written in English (unless there are more in France as a whole), but I had a great time watching you browse and make your way through Paris. I especially liked how you showed us everything you acquired, for it gives me a taste as to what you are able to find upon visiting each store. I agree 110% with supporting independent bookstores, no matter where you go. I would like to pay visits to bookstores during the summer months and am eager to see what I am able to find. I have not read any of the books you mentioned, but I did acquire Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides a few years ago when visiting a bookstore. I would like to look into Elena Ferrante but have yet to cave into the peer pressure that is A Court of Thorns and Roses. I do not speak for the entirety of my channel, though. I would be inclined to learn more about Vladimir. It sounds like The Reader in a college setting. Thank you for sharing! -Josh

I acquired my copy from someone in my grandparents' neighborhood that was giving away their books. There was a film adaptation that was nominated for an Academy Award for 2008, but it lost to Slumdog Millionaire.

Thank you so much! 🥰 The vast majority of bookstores in Paris are French-language stores. The ones I visited in this vlog are the main ones in English- there are only a few more than this unfortunately! Although sometimes if you’re lucky you’ll find a tiny English section at a French store!

So - as you can read in my other comment I am a fan of Murakami Haruki in different ways and I was wondering if you don't want to make some thema about his works, his atmospheres... For example : Musics & Murakami's books OR Books references in Murakami's Books !!! Because when you are reading a Murakami Haruki books, some characters always reading a book than you want to read after lol !!! And other suggestion is the beautifull (luxurious) edition - covers, papers etc... And other suggestion ( I have to stop... lol ) Experimental Writing like Williams S.Burroughs because a lot of Rock bands are influences by him (among others) and by the cut-ups technics...
