To clarify for all the haters here: This is NOT a full Skunk2 Megapower catback exhaust. This is only the skunk2 muffler. If you look in the video, you can see stock sized piping behind it. The full catback sounds a hell of a lot different and nowhere near as raspy as this. Go look up "skunk2 catback" and you'll quickly find that it sounds a lot cleaner.
the exhaust was used when i bought it. It wasn't overly loud and i never got pulled over even in parking structures and garages when there was cops waiting at the entrance and there was a symphony of car alarms going off behind me
the word rice is thrown around way too much -__- makes me hate car people
i never got pulled over until the exhaust was broken in and made it a few dbs louder. Which was after about a month or 2. then it was every week, id get pulled over. in different counties too. It wasnt just the city i was in or anything. Ill never forget drivin at night and seein a cop with his lights on about an 1/8 of a mile ahead of me, and as soon as i passed, he got behind me and gave me a ticket.

That second exhaust clearly sounds more throaty I have the exact style 3" magnaflow cat back on my 5th gen. I can personally say it kicks ass even compared to how some V8s sound.

Because it sounds like ass? To be exact a fart. It doesn't sound any better. It grabs everybody's attention the wrong way. Head he actually sat down & did some research, he could've found a good tuned muffler instead of a fart can. That's the reason Hondas get such a bad name. My friend has a 3rd gen prelude with a titanium piping along with a Remus double tip muffler & it sounds amazing. It does justice to the h22 in it. He might as well leave it stock & not being annoying with that shitty muffler.

i hate people like you that say that, ive been told that for year and years, ever single car ive owned had an aftermarket or built exhaust, Yea i got pulled over for a headlight being out. my car would be loud idling next to the cop as hes talking to me, say not one thing about the exhaust. Its called knowing your rights and the Db limits for your area. Its not a doughnut, its a car.

Actually. I have a forza muffler on my. No fart can just a weld on low muffler that was budget. Its deep sounding. No raspy like this kids lude. Which is sad. He made a 5th gen a rice bucket.
It's not a ricer if it's just the exhaust, It just swapping it out if the stock exhaust is old

Aftermarket exhaust sounded better if a bit loud, but the twin tips of the stock exhaust suits the car better than a cannon of a tip
@2losersinbasement it comes out at an angle cause it was welded by my friend and the tip is slanted it just looks different in the video

@buttheadx9 Actually each exhaust port has one header, thus 4 being plural, means you have headers. Have a great day!

skunk2 is extremely loud. i had a skunk2 catback on my accord and would get pulled over at least 1 if not 2 times a week

Is this a skunk 2 cat back or just the muffler? It is a little more raspy than others i have heared. I am torn between this or buddy club
I have that same exhaust Megan racing headers 2.25 piping down to 10 in glass pack and more 2.25 into the skunk 2 muffler. A little quieter than what you have but my pops and bubbles. H22 accord
Also an 8in cat before the glass pack
Sounds lower and not raspy at all. Once my vtec engages at 4200 it's mostly engine noise. You probably don't even have this car anymore but that's what I did with mine to make it sound really good.

People commenting about being pulled over for mufflers like this made me change my mind about modding my Civic's muffler with straight muffler. I gotta figure out a way to install a glasspack between the cat converter and a straight muffler so it's not as loud.

That’s what happens when you just apply a muffler. It’s best to change out the whole exhaust system, reputable headers, camshafts and lifters and maybe put some ITBS

Thats old school now the Electronic cut out is wayyyy better u can installed right after the headers down pipe and will sound amazing by just hitting a remote control and be able to go back to quiet when u wish

I just rebuilt my Integra same exhaust, sounds a little better on mine tho ;). and yes now I see closely that its still smoking! im not saying its rings im just saying its not normal in my opinion there is no reason a healthy stock car should smoke cold or not.

okay, yea your right on that part. but the only reason it took me like 5hrs.. is cuz i only had a jack and nothing else.. for when i was putting on my exhaust. and not to menchin it was my first time of doing it. but you know, imean what if the guy in the vid only had a jack, and nothing else to help keep the car up.

@sciontcdude And those people are wrong :) Its a header.
Best sound would be there if you got the catback bigger too. 4" tip with a 3" cat back in front of it would get rid of that 'nasal' weedwacker sound. Would sound burly and throaty, even at higher rpms.
