2000 Honda Prelude (non-SH) with a Skunk2 Mega Power Cat back Exhaust. I forgot to turn the volume up in my video editor so the video needs the volume to be turned up. sry
You know what, I'm impressed. I didn't like Skunk2 for the longest time. But this has a deeper throatier sound than most skunk 2 exhausts I've heard, that sound like "beehives".
How does the skunk2 sound inside when you cruise at a steady speed? I was thinking about this exhaust but I don't want it to get annoying if I have to go on a long trip or something.
Is the skunk2 any louder than stock while doing like 60 or 70 on the highway? i was thinking about getting it, but i really don't want anything too loud while just driving... i figure it'd get annoying after a while... I took my friend's civic out for a spin and his exaust was so loud on the highway and just normal driving i figured i'd kill myself for getting exaust that was too loud
duals look ugly on a lude anyways... if you HAD to do it then make both sides equal as possible and have them be 1.5" max on each side LOL cuz if you ahve 3" pipes + 3" pipes = 6" pipes wow you LOST 5000000 tq and HP considering they dont make that much anyways
@Bandit145 I agree my car sucks 0-60.... but at a 45 degree angle my record speed is 43 mph let me see a 70's musle car do that or any american car... o and my stock speed round a 45 degree angle is 35mph...
it sounds like the exhaust note is in 8bit like it was coming out of a old skool arcade or nintendo as well... check out some other videos, should say more pleasing even if inline4 isnt your thing

Is there a silencer on there? I'm in the marcket for a new cat back but i dont want it to make alot of noise. I really like the look of this one, but i cant stand loud exhaust's.
krazy raver...eclipse's manifold, headers arent made like hondas to put skunk2's..you should put borla or cherry bomb on your eclipse and dont worry it almost sounds exactly like a skunk2
actually not really all cars do have exhaust and mufflers how esle do you think they are road legal.....have you ever heard a car without an exhaust trust me it ain't quiet

sick exhaust i think of all the brands skunk2 sounds best at least out of all the postings i'm saving up for an exhaust on my 5th gen hopefully i can get a skunk2 n some lowering springs after i pay off my tickets ha.

my buddy has the same exausht on his car it dosnt sound like this we took a video of the camera a bit further away and onther closer when closer it sounds like shit cause it rattles the mike cause a bit of a raspy sound, these exausht systems are the best in my opinion and rather bummed they dont have one for a 98 accord

Dude personally i think the mugen sounds a lot smoother. The skunk2 gives the H22 a B16 sound lol. But, if your going for the rice theme anyway have at it.
i doubt it, maybe a few extra HP on the dyno because its probably less restictive but nothing you can actualy feel

nah man, it sounds way too ricey. i got a mugen twin loop on mine and its real smooth and deep, sounds a hell of a lot better
i can honestly say i have never liked the sound of import exhausts. american muscle definitely has a better sound and i own a 97' honda prelude.
i used to listen to music in my car so i wouldn't hear the noise from my old exhaust... now i hav skunk 2, forget the music.. :)

sounds pretty good, but yeah like you said i couldnt hear the bass without the rev. but sounds better than my lude.
