Hello doc! Just want to ask you this and I hope tou can help me. I’m just confused what is the best splint or foot support for my condition: I had a foot surgery after a glass ruptured my extensor tendon in my right foot. Right now I can’t walk been a month already and it hurts a little when i try to move my toes.. It kinda looks like drop foot now and i still have my wound but its healing..So what’s the best type of aplints for me? Please doc help me. I feel like I need a splint or support for my foot to bear no weight so my tendons would heal faster. My doc didnt advise me anything like that after my surgery 😭
Michigan Foot Doctors thank you for posting all of these super helpful videos! OS appt 3/31 to get a fresh cast again, but in the meantime I’m binging your videos lol. Especially right now while I’m at home basically 24/7 dreaming of the future is so nice 🙏🏾😂
I know i have a broken rt ankle too.i am not happy at all with the cast.look forward to getting a boot so i can take pressure off ankle an leg.i asked my orthopedist about using a knee scooter.he did not recommend them says they can cause blood clots.is this true?
@GRIM REAPER same here directly after my surgery i was placed inside of a boot and told to sleep in it as well but its extremely uncomfortable and cant sleep
THESES GUYS ARE GOLD!!! LISTEN TO THEM! My surgeon knew nothing about correct brace, or correct exercises to decrease pain, these doctors are GOLD!!! I work in health care. I know ! BLESS THEM!!!
Ouch, that is tough for sure! We really hope you feel better. Just make sure to see a podiatrist in the future if your problem continues. We really, really appreciate you as a fan and than you for watching. If in the Michigan area consider coming to see us! www.michiganfootdoctors.com/
I had the boots on for abt 7 weeks. I used a couple kitchen towels/papers to line the part where the foot goes and baby powered the heck out of my foot and calves. Then change the towels + wetwipe my foot at least once a day! That prevents the gross smells and dead skin build ups.
Been walking on a broken ankle for 2 months now without knowing and just got a big ol’ boot today and was watching to make the bottom of the foot feel better and this helps. Thanks!
Thank you! This video made me laugh and also provided some great points! I didn't think about an insert! I fell from 25 feet and broke/fractured both ankles amongst multiple other injuries. Fortunately, the right wasn't as bad as the left. I had an ORIF performed to secure the calcaneus and talus, but my navicular bone is still angry at me so I'll have to go in for more repairing. I bought a short boot at first and wore that until my surgeon recommended the tall. Since I've swapped, my ankle feels much more stable and the air pocket is fabulous for sustaining the position of my leg and foot. Although some say it seems terrifying to wear a compression sock, it's been quite helpful and comfy since the increase in swelling after my pin removal. What a huge difference! Not only with the swelling, but also with the inside of the boot getting funky. Yuck. My knee scooter has been great but I'm wondering if I should wear the boot with the iWalk?! Balancing on it makes me really nervous! Thank you again for sharing your knowledge! Here's to another surgery or two....... and then RECOVERING! :)

Woof putting the compression sock over my broken ankle for the first time was so painful and scary. I was convinced the snug fabric would just rip up my ankle and scar. But honestly once i got used to it, i was much happier. Also the air in my airboot took FOREVER to figure out and get used to! Thanks for the info ut helps alot
Broke my fifth metatarsal at work less than a week ago. I have the tall boot but not sure if I'm supposed to wear it around the clock??? Also, I've noticed the boot makes my foot feel numb and cold after a while. I don't sleep in it! Also, can't wait to get this over with and move on with my life!!! Thanks for your videos. 🤩

The compression sock has been so helpful! My calf would start to swell after a couple hours in the cast and was so unconfortable causing me to take off the cast, or noncomplient as you docs say. Now so much better.
I just got home with a boot over a broken ankle. I got a rushed, two minute explanation of its use at the clinic and came home with questions. You just simulated the clinics job for them, thank you so much. I especially liked the idea of using my much needed expensive inserts i use in my Asics running shoes which won't be running any time soon lol, that certainly would help this boot mold itself around my injury really well and help stabilize the fracture. Thank you very much for thinking out loud on video about boot ideas my friend.
Funny and factual at the same time! I've been in my boot for a week now.Despite the pain,I'm still cutting my lawn and moving things up and down the stairs.A MRI revealed that I have some kind of stress fracture, but won't know the specifics until Monday when I see the doc. I'm hoping like hell I won't need a cast, and that I can put a bit on weight on my foot.Yes I want this to heal, so I will be less active during this time....
How is your foot now? I have a repetitive stress fracture, I injured this same approximate place a few years ago by riding my bike over a very tall bridge! (dumb idea) Doc didn’t do an MRI this time as symptoms were the same as last time. He has me taking Vit D, Vit C and K2. Praying this heals for good, not sure how I injured it this time! Getting old isn’t fun sometimes… 😏
I'm on week 9 of no weight baring, I'm no weight baring for 10 weeks total. Had a tri-fracture with dislocated ankle. Wore a cast for 6 weeks now in a air cast. I have found that I can't wear a compression sock as where the hardware had to go its pretty darn sore still. I found some super super soft mid calf socks that are kind of thick for that cushiony feel. It's 100° here but I don't care because my foot says thank you!! I can take my leg out of the air cast as much as I want just as long as I'm laying down and no one comes near it. 😁
I have an identical injury, and I'm 5 weeks in. Can I ask how long you were non weight bearing? And how long before you were walking normally again (or as near as)? It just feels like such a slog at the moment!
I have the same trimaleolar break with dislocation. Took three weeks to get in for surgery. Half cast for 18 days, x-ray’s and told doing amazing and into a boot. The boot, I believe is too narrow at the ankle. It hurts like the dickens. So much that I can not sleep at night for constantly removing and replacing boot. Is it supposed to hurt this much at the ankle? I have scrawny ankles according to the doctor that first checked me. If it’s supposed to be snug but comfortable I think mine is ill fitting. Please weight in Doc.
@Bunny Toes that definitely doesn't sound right. I had my surgery within 24 hours of the injury, then half cast for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks my staples were removed, and I was given a hard cast for 4 weeks. The cast absolutely should be snug and comfortable, although there's obviously no guarantee of no pain. I had my hard cast removed 3 days ago (so 6 weeks after the accident), and now in a boot for 4 weeks, and I feel I've really turned a corner. Not a doctor, but it sounds like you were put in a boot far too soon. I would be asking for some further consultation
This video is EXCELLENT. Thank you for the tips. I wear compression socks AND shoe inserts and it never occurred to me to use these with my air cast. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Just got one of these post surgery, a bit of pain because the incision areas are still a bit swollen but doc says all good. Can’t wait to start getting some pressure on the foot in about 4 weeks here
Thanks so much for this! I just got my boot and after 30 minutes I could feel my high arch start hurting. So I got lucky and yours was the first video I watched and BOOM! There was my answer about the insert. I bought a short boot before I saw my surgeon, but have ordered the tall one that he also recommended. Hopefully it will fit. Keep up the videos. I'll be back for more as my surgery for anterior tibula tendon rupture gets closer.
I've got a torn achilles, so no weight bearing at all right now. I have ice cream legs and am wearing a short boot. This video still helped even though I didn't break any bones, . . . you actually had me at your knee scooter intro because crutches kinda suck.
Thank you so much. Pretty sure my foot is broken and can’t get into doc for a week. Had the boot from a previous sprain but forgot how to use it. Super grateful. 😊
Great video. I wish I'd seen this video before I broke my ankle last spring. I learned about using two socks through trial and error. Wish I'd have thought about using an insert. I used a "foot leveler" on my opposite shoe that sure helped keep my back aligned.

I remember after my ankle operation I browsed on youtube and found your vids and found them very helpful. Until now I’m starting to wean off my moon boot Am still watching all your vids! Godbless and thanks!
The Cam boot is so much easier...one padded sock is fine...always fold the Velcro on to itself when taking off. Ice three times a day...most important Get an UpEven lift for other shoe! Remove for sleep, shower and driving.
love your video and delivery! thank you for the great advice. i fractured my 5th metatersal today and now i'm binging videos on how to take care of myself

@@apinkham77 that sounds wonderful. I go tomorrow to see if I need surgery. Really praying I don’t but I didn’t even know about these boots. How was your healing process
Hopefully by the time I'm cleared to put weight on my broken ankle, the surgical incisions will be healed enough for a compression sock. Right now, it's only been 30 days since surgery and when putting any sock on I go slow and carefully!
Thank you for the advise. We wish the doctors would be more through with these imperative tips. Though my doctor did tell me to buy an Evenup for my healthy foot to prevent my back from having problems.
I love my scooter I don’t want to give it up!! I just got my cast off yesterday and I’m trying to learn to put the 25% pressure on my ankle that I broke in January using the boot. Wish my luck.
Do a video comparing scooters, crutches and the iWalk for living weeks of non weight bearing. I used an iWalk for 7 weeks (1week before surgery/6 post) and it was awesome!! Gave me so much freedom, use of hands, ease of bending over, etc!!!! Now that I am doing 25% weight bearing, I had to kick ‘Peggy’ to the side and use crutches again. Awful!! But necessary to move forward with recovery and walking. FOREVER GREATFUL for that iWalk!!!
@@DrTomBiernacki yes, I am lucky to be in the correct shape and size for it. End of handbook said not recommended for 55yrs +.... I just turned 55!! But they state it’s more dependent on physical abilities than age. Go happy it worked for me. 😊

Thank you for your videos. I’ve learned more from you than my orthopedic doc. I think he thinks I’m smarter than I am. I’m a 70 yr female with 3 metatarsal stress fractures. I was given the big boot 3weeks ago and I still have foot pain when I walk. Not as bad on the boot, but I hate the boot and find myself not wearing it more than 3-4 hrs daily. I’m retired and mostly at home. I wear Brooks Ghosts Sneakers when out of the boot or to run a few errands. I really like your suggestion about the compression sock. At my age I’m concerned about the high boot impacting proper calf circulation and creating clots. Thanks:)

Loved the video. I thought I had a bad sprain but after MRI and x-ray doc said I needed surgery. I've been running around with a broken ankle. Seemed not too bad since it was just a tiny piece. But after they got in for surgery they said piece had broken off when tendon tore. They did this fix on inside of ankle, outside breaks were healed. They also removed a spur on the top of ankle from another break. I have weak rolling ankles they said. But the worst was they had to do a stress test before surgery was done. That's when they discovered torn tendons on the outside of my ankle that required them to drill holes in my other bones to string up the tendons. After 4 weeks no. I've been in a tall boot, a bit different from yours with 4 straps. Weight bearing I might get to test 50% weight but loved the compression sock idea, just hurts too much yet to get it on. Still trying to wrap an ace bandage to help with swelling but cushion sock is working great with all this. I love the knee scooter in your video, this is actually the only time my ankle doesn't hurt when I can move quickly! Thanks again.

This was very helpful. I just got the tall boot from my Ortho clinic yesterday for a 5th metatarsal base fracture. I’ve only taken it off to sleep but when I put it on again it doesn’t feel as comfortable as it did when the doc’s staff did it. I need to follow your instructions closely again.

If your calf is too big for the tall boot, you can put a tall pot of water on the stove on low. Heat the water to between 150 and 190 Fahrenheit. (Use a meat thermometer) Take the liner out and the top strap off. Immerse the boot upside down into the pot for about a minute. Take it out and stretch it with your hands. I measured mine across before I immersed it and then afterwards. I just needed about a half an inch more. Fits great now. You do not need the water any higher. You can just hold the boot in the water but it didn’t hurt mine to set it in there on my electric stove. My stove was at about 1.8 of 10 heat setting. Good luck
The sock is a great idea...unless you have a fully ruptured Achilles’ Tendon...then the mere idea of putting on ANY sock - and potentially flexing your foot is pretty much the scariest thing in the world...😬😣😢
Yep, but I can tell you that I'm three weeks out from a partially ruptured (75%) achilles, and I can just now stand to have a sock touch my ankle. It does get better.
agreed completely...the compression sock in theory is a good idea- but not really do-able, I wore one of my husband's long socks and linen sprayed the fabric part each night, it worked...I was in my air cast for 8 weeks

Before I found out about my metatarsal fracture, I was still on vacation right after the accident, in the mountains, and went hiking there every day. Only an MRI almost 4 weeks after my accident/fall showed that I have a fracture and since then I have a Vacoped and have to put my foot up and must not burden it
Going for my physiotherapy this weekend after my orthopedic stitch removal on my left fracture ankle. Hopefully everything will be fine after they will issue aircast boot they issue me last week

Very helpful tips. I'm in the pneumatic Aircast long boot for chronic tendonitis. I am having 2 problems: 1) leveling my hips. Bought a Even -up accessory, and it helped, but the hips are not quite level. 2) shin pain. I placed some socks on the shin, which is helping, but I noticed my leg sliding forward when walking. That seems to be the source of the shin pain. Not sure what else I can do. Any suggestions are definitely appreciated!
Will you PLEASE do a video taking the liner completely out and putting the boot back together? My husband is in this exact boot and the liner needed to be washed....bad. Wash was successful but now I'm not sure how to put the foam foot pad back on the liner. I'm left with this bundle of liner at the heel which is super uncomfortable for him. He's in this bad boy for another 12 weeks.
thanks ; my podiatrist just put the boot on me, told me leave it on as much as possible, including to bed. Did not mention anything about the air pumping situation. * it is the shorter boot, not the style you used here. I am one of the "old ladies" who can't tolerate the tall boot. I have RA & OA on top of it and lots of arthritis in my feet (those bones on top mostly) , a bone spur and now Achilles tendonitis . Have to walk my dog 3 times a day for his call to nature. The struggle is real. Although I really do love my foot doctor , he gave me no other instructions. I had to google to find out what the big red bladder button even is. It should be mentioned that people should get themselves a leveler for the other foot/shoe. I am now trying to determine which insert(s) to use on the leveler b/c mine has 3 choices. 🙄but then as I was leaving , he said "are you driving?" and I said yes and he told me well you can't wear then, you have to take it off.
Hey doctor! Not sure if you’ll ever see this but I got my boot yesterday after spraining my ankle very badly and breaking my ankle bone as well. My orthopedic doctor gave me the long boot and the one thing I can say is that whenever I try to move my foot to, for example, lift it up to have it propped up, my ankle goes through an intense pain from the weight of the boot. Do you think loosening or tightening might be better? If not what do you think I should do? Would appreciate your feedback❤️
That's the question I have!! I got the boot today and walking WITH it is so much more painful than walking on a broken ankle without it.... which I was doing for the last week until it got too painful and decided to go seek professional advice (and an X-ray)
I'm in the same boat. I've tried everything. Loosening, tightening, using more/less inflated air. Nothing helps and I'm in excruciating pain trying to move anywhere on crutches with gravity + the weight of the boot. Did you ever get any answers?
@@anapooley4468I am on week two towards 3 & I am feeling that ankle pain. Been trying to fix my boot right and left. The boot rubbing up against my ankle is uhggg so annoying.
Thanks for the advice. I just got the short boot to stabilize my ankle and foot.. got some paroneal tendonosis nonsense going on. Ordered it off Amazon and some Febreeze too. Good tip about the socks. Ill try it with my compression socks and my custom orthotics. Im getting a CT guided steroid injection into the tendon sheath in about a month... my goal is to visit the doctor that day already pain free or low in pain.. and hoping the steroids will only help further my chance at avoiding surgery. Been a 6 month journey for me so far to get to this point. Without an MRI I have no idea how bad off I'd be right now.
Chuckled at hangnail. Lol’d at the broken boot explosion! Good stuff sir! I sprained my ankle 4 weeks ago and drive for a living 6-9 hrs a day. This has been so tough. I use the iWalk 2.0 (sweatin’ in July!) and just rough it while driving. I ice it some at night. And catch myself bending/flexing my ankle a lot. Will I ever heal going like this? Thanks!
I drive with my boot. I use my left foot for the brake.😂It works for me since I can drive a stick, it sort of feels like using a clutch. I drive just fine, in fact probably better than 70% of the drivers out there. Lol.🤣 But then, I used to be a professional truck driver. Just be more alert and driving should be ok. But if you're not comfortable and confident, don't do it.

DOC today recommended a boot for peroneal tendonitis. Offered surgery options but I am 56 and still desiring to play ice hockey and that surgery of tendon repair and or relocating my heal with some anchors to correct for a high arch scares the sh....t out of me. Maybe a 2nd opinion is prudent.. =)) Thanks for the video
Drs: I used to have a lot of pain with my boot (hinflable) like a month with the pain, in my clinic SANITAS medical center in Miami they gave me the boot but no paper instructions and a they only spoke few indications. The consequence Was I did not inserted the boot on the proper manner i don’t even know I have to used red ball to hinflate the boot. The boot wasn’t tight properly to my foot during in a month . I went to orthopedic and they showed me how to hinflated the boot ….but I inserted my boot hinflated and I did not insert the brackets and the pain continue, when At 5 weeks I decided to watch videos and I realized the process I used to do wasn’t right either and today after almost 7 weeks I know how to put my boot and I think the wrong manner to insert the boot affect my fracture. My ct scan is in 15 days and let see how wrong is my ankle after all this.

Looking at different videos to get answers to the following questions (have left ankle fracture on left foot and have a short boot): 1) Am I supposed to wear it at night while I sleep or take it off or is it a decision my doctor and I are supposed to make? 2) Am I supposed to avoid taking showers so it is left on? 3) It is designed for walking in, but can I do outdoor tasks in it like cut the grass and other yardwork? 4) Still some confusion as to whether I was supposed to get the tall boot or short boot - different people/professionals say different things. Any comment on this?
My doctor recommended me to use this boot because of an midfoot sprain... I'm a little shy to use it, especially after seeing this is mostly for fractures 😅

I hate having my boot on I hope it gets better when I became weight baring. It almost gives me Alittle anexity since I had my surgery that started for me sadly out of no where. I broke my ankle
My first week in the short air cast boot after plantar fasciitis surgery, 3 inches of fascia was removed, with 7 stitches. The doctor said it was so tight. It wouldn’t heal after suffering over a year. I didn’t know the air cast pumps up using the circular pumps on the side until I was in the store and someone told me, I was wearing it all wrong smh.
Idk why they gave me a air boot because i fractured my foot and first had a cast then they just gave me a boot then he tells me to not walk on the boot because of the type of break i had. So now im walking on crutches and cant even walk on the boot. Problem is the boot is heavy and my right arm is dying of pain because i cant use my leg to support myself at all. They put the boot on without telling me how to use it. Ive literally been on google and youtube to find out how to use and make it comfortable they didnt tell me to wear a sock or anything so thanks for the advice actually helpful because my boot was too lose now its not.
thank you so much. I have always had problems with my L ankle ever since i was in my early 20's disco dancing. Then one day i had this weird pain on my ankle felt like their was a ball there. Went to my primary and was sent for X-rays. May have a hair line fracture. My Arthritis Center doctor evaluated with a ortho surgeon and may have a hair line fracture. Recommended a walking booth for 6 weeks including sleeping with it. I am waiting for a follow up with my primary so I can be referred to a ortho-surg. Thanks for your video. I learned much. Will need to get a walking boot, compression sock and an insole. Much appreciated.

I wish my doc had given me any fitting instructions at all! Also the instructions that came with the aircast weren't very clear. Thanks.
Wishing everyone watching a speedy recovery. We got this!

Came to say the same. Just broke my ankle 2 days ago and there’s no way I’m pulling a tight sock on.
My first thought as well… a compression sock over my broken ankle….no way.
Same! Just broke my ankle and I’m terrified to pull on a sock, much less compression.
I was going to say the same. I have a Jones Fracture and, despite really wanting to wear a sock, I can't imagine trying to slide one over the break.
We appreciate you watching! Hope you feel better and heal up soon!

The compression sock has been so helpful! My calf would start to swell after a couple hours in the cast and was so unconfortable causing me to take off the cast, or noncomplient as you docs say. Now so much better.
Excellent, we hope you keep feeling better!
@@DrTomBiernacki what about wrapping it with an ace bandage?
I just got home with a boot over a broken ankle. I got a rushed, two minute explanation of its use at the clinic and came home with questions. You just simulated the clinics job for them, thank you so much.
I especially liked the idea of using my much needed expensive inserts i use in my Asics running shoes which won't be running any time soon lol, that certainly would help this boot mold itself around my injury really well and help stabilize the fracture. Thank you very much for thinking out loud on video about boot ideas my friend.
So helpful! My doc had me add an arch support. Perfect for getting a better fit.
Bless you
I have an identical injury, and I'm 5 weeks in.
@Bunny Toes I should have added that my boot is very comfortable, it sounds as though yours has been poorly fitted.
This video is EXCELLENT. Thank you for the tips. I wear compression socks AND shoe inserts and it never occurred to me to use these with my air cast. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Um, replying so u remember this three years later
I've got a torn achilles, so no weight bearing at all right now. I have ice cream legs and am wearing a short boot. This video still helped even though I didn't break any bones, . . . you actually had me at your knee scooter intro because crutches kinda suck.

Iwalk is great for sure!
The problem is I have had a few patients lose balance and fall over really hurting themselves
It's great for healthy and fit people, not so good for older and poor balance people.

Good luck
With a broken ankle you would Not be pulling on and off a compression sock like that!
With a painful one you would most likely be in a cast as well, but you're absolutely right, be safe and gentle!

I have exactly the same thing goin on. I’m getting cortisol injections. How did it all go?
Was looking forward to estimated timeframes of wearing it e.g. how many weeks/months?
I just got into a boot for grade 3 sprain really bad thank you for this video 🥳
this video is a life saver !! Thanks so much !!
Thanks!
Great video and enthusiasm thanks!
Thank you for watching, we appreciate you!
You are hilarious!!! You're also extremely great at explaining things, I appreciate your videos.
Thank you you’re information very helpful ❤
I drive with my boot. I use my left foot for the brake.😂It works for me since I can drive a stick, it sort of feels like using a clutch.
I drive just fine, in fact probably better than 70% of the drivers out there. Lol.🤣
But then, I used to be a professional truck driver. Just be more alert and driving should be ok. But if you're not comfortable and confident, don't do it.
Great video!!! Like the 2 tips abt orthotic sole and compression stocking!!!
Thanks and hope you feel better soon!
Thanks I got a sprained foot and stretch ligament on my foot I’m on a boot right now at first it felt weird but I got use to it

Hey how long did it take u to heal? Was it a grade one sprain? Did u train go to the gym in the second week? Cheers
Wished there was info on overall back pain from wearing this boot for weeks. It’s worse than my injury 😰
how are you? is a lower back massage a good idea?
OMG yes woke up to back pain. Now I find that the boot is rubbing up against my ankle. NOT FUN.
Broke my ankle almost 3 weeks ago 3 more weeks to start weight bearing 💪🏽😭
In the same boat dude.
I’m in the same boot too :) . Never got a cast straight into boot after ORIF , My biggest fear is it healing in the wrong way
Same here broke my navicular and cuboid 2 weeks ago anyone use a ace wrap with socks?
Thank you very much you helped me a lot!!!

*taking notes* Don't.... sweat... I actually have forgotten to continue to use my compression socks. Still awaiting the ortho from my break almost 2 weeks ago so I have no idea what I'll be using.
My doctor suggested me to wear one of those boots cause I got a Peroneal Tendinitis below my maleolar area right foot. Need to learn everything I can before buying the boot.
I got my compressed socks and my boot...wow what a difference..thanks again..Doc said to put all my weight..im on my 7th week after the surgery..standing tall and happy to finally uncurl my entire posture...i even coughed a couple of times...
Wonderful!
We hope you get better soon!

Im feeling way better...much more independent for sure..nothing swollen.. so far ao good. I have an appmnt on the 29th to get a different kind of boot..prob. a smaller one. Yeiii🐴
Looking at different videos to get answers to the following questions (have left ankle fracture on left foot and have a short boot):
1) Am I supposed to wear it at night while I sleep or take it off or is it a decision my doctor and I are supposed to make?
2) Am I supposed to avoid taking showers so it is left on?
3) It is designed for walking in, but can I do outdoor tasks in it like cut the grass and other yardwork?
4) Still some confusion as to whether I was supposed to get the tall boot or short boot - different people/professionals say different things. Any comment on this?
My doctor recommended me to use this boot because of an midfoot sprain... I'm a little shy to use it, especially after seeing this is mostly for fractures 😅
“ it’s good support” I find that funny
I have a fractured foot and I’m probably going to get a cast but right now I have a boot
Thanks its not so scary now after a broken ankle
Thanks for the great response! Hope you feel better soon!

U making my leg hurt you moving so ruff lol
thank you so much. Much appreciated.
mine makes my heel burn. i’m not sure if it’s rubbing against it or pushing on it. but any tips for this? a sock isn’t helping and the doctor didn’t give me a pump.
2 weeks in and 4 more to go. I can’t take anymore!! At least it’s still cool outside. Summer would be miserable.
Watching this with a fractured calcaneum. Newly fitted airwalker boot can't weight bear for another 4 weeks.
