Please excuse the space rambles. 14 days hiking on your own can make you a tad bonkers. Thanks for all the messages, you lot have been ace, thank you.
faith - its all you need.
Earths flat Mate...well done on the complete..🙏
Thanks for sharing your amazing journey. I have a other amazing walk to do when iget back in uk.. Well done
It’s all good, i used to do that when I would Moto Vlog. We just start going ha ha thanks for bringing us on another nice adventure, it’s great to get lost in someone’s outdoor adventure since I can’t so easily.
great series ,,loved it..but you have been away too long..the space talk was brill..meanwhile we have opened a few pubs on jupiter...come home soon mate..lol..
I’ve watched a lot of thru hike videos, but this has to be by far the most honest, funny and heartfelt of them all. Hazey you’re an absolute legend mate. So much love
Never thought I'd get half-emotional watching a fella drink a can.
Enjoyed this series so much. You became like a friend, at least virtually
Hazey this series of videos has been an absolute joy to watch! You should be immensely proud, not only for completing a brutal trail, but also for documenting it in such a brilliant way for us all to share the experience with you. Thank you 🙏
What he said… 😎😎
Hazey just want to say hi and a massive thank you for just doing what you do and being you!
I’ve had one of the worse years of my life from losing work to then losing my partner to cancer, it’s been one fu*king hard year!
You have kept me going I know you don’t know me and me you but just watching you grow from all your videos to now has been amazingly inspirational! I’m sure you have inspired loads of people to get up and outdoors! For me you have just kept me getting up and walking the dogs when I couldn’t even do that. Now im getting up and over mountains because you inspired me to love the outdoors again. Im a 33 year old man that didn’t even know what depression was untill I couldn’t move because of how hard I was finding everything. You openly talk about these issues that have also helped me so so much!! So form the bottom of my heart THANK YOU PAUL! Keep doing you and I hope you see this comment! X💚
That’s heartwarming stuff mate. Much love!
Nice one fella. I almost didn’t want to watch this last one as I’ve bluddy loved watching these too much and didn’t want them to end. Thought I was drawn into your C2C series but this CWT one has really been something else and filmed even better. You must be proper chuffed to have completed it :)
As chuffed as a dog with two knobs.
You could try Douglas conlin Michigan to Florida on a pushbike , though I want him to succeed I don’t want it to end , the same feeling , best wishes !
@@HazeOutdoors !!!!CONGRATULATIONS MATE!!!!
Certainly a personal best & you're a far better man than me Gunga Din//Haze.
Best regards,
Ben
@@HazeOutdoors LMAO
Probably the best thing I've watched on UA-cam this year. Just reading the other comments they all sum it up perfectly. Funny, filmed well, honest and defo inspirational. Well done Hazey that's genuinely epic (and that word gets used too much, but deserved in this case). So, now where you going!!! 😉
This series has been so captivating! Hazy you are hilarious, charismatic and totally inspiring. Your positivity and determination really gives the watcher a boost, makes us feel like we could go out and achieve anything we set our minds to aswell. I love how you admire and respect nature too. They should play these videos in schools (although there would be an entire generation shouting "Medic!" every 2 minutes 😄)
Thanks Rachael, that's really kind of you to say. 🦩
Couldn't agree more. Very insertional. You're a great advert for getting out there and doing it.
That "Medic" part made me laugh. I could see them shouting it.
(An entire generation shouting ‘Medic’ without getting the Starship Troopers reference at all 🕺🏻)
Just finished watching this last video, I've done nothing all day but binge watch your entire journey from start to finish, and what a journey it was!!!! I really do not think you have any idea how inspirational you are Hazey!!! Your total honesty throughout your journey and how it affected you had me laughing, feeling emotional, feeling so proud of you and my heart went out to you on so many occasions when the odds seemed stacked against you...but you just kept on going no matter what! After watching your journey I have doubted whether I will be able to complete CWT when I attempt it, but THE one thing that you have taught me is...if you never try...how will you ever know? x x
I'm from the Highlands of Scotland and know what determination it takes to take on the hills ect..that was nothing short of inspirational mate..the ending was something else...from one man to another who has came through cancer...I take my hat off to you...inspired
Respect ✊
@@HazeOutdoors big up Tom that was a great post,,and big respect to Haze, making us all love and respect the countryside,,Love ya bro ..from Thornaby -on-tees..we still in north Yorkshire
Absolutely phenomenal series…binge-watched this to the end…late, late nights! Superb, fella…got me all emotional ya did!
Travel safe and keep ‘em coming 🙏
me too. Up all night last night, and just watched the last two this evening, on the first anniversary of my mother's leaving this plane. The space talk, in that sense, did not seem far out. My ancestry is scottish and irish, also.
Nearly p'd myself laughing when you where rambling about aliens, Ferrero Roche, Easter eggs and pancakes but I shed a tear or two at the end. Sincerely hope you have a speedy recovery. It's been an honour to join you on your journey. Well done Hazey 🙂👍🍻
Only recently discovered your channel and have watched this whole series over the last 3 days. Quite simply the best thing I've ever seen on UA-cam. Thank you.
I actually got goosebumps when you opened that can and necked it. Such an awesome adventure!
This series has made me realise that theirs more to life than just going to work and coming home, just the rut we all get lost in from time to time. Every day civilisation and that rat race and worries of day to day struggles and stresses. I know it's a bit clichè when we say life is too short, but from my own personal experiences it really is.
Well done haze this has been an amazing watch and can't wait for the next adventure. And if your ever passing through you can sleep on my settee anyday 😂👌👍
Well said!👌🏻😊
Wow, I never thought I'd get emotional watching the last part of this episode then mate, what an achievement and I genuinely belive this series is far too good just for UA-cam. Something like this would have made for good watching on something like Amazon Prime or even the Discovery channel. Truly inspirational series, I'm sure you've inspired everyone in some way or another who has watched this all the way through. Keep doing what you're doing mate, well done and thank you for such a great series. Keeping the Faith as always, Gaz.
I don't know how you can ever top this series. Except maybe : Haze OuterSpace! I'm onboard with that....
Brilliant mate, congrats!!! Even I could taste that can of Faith at the end. It's an amazing feeling getting to that fabled lighthouse eh. 😎👌
It was like watching Tom hanks and Wilson with you and that can of Faith. Getting all emo at the end 😂
Great series pal! Some effort that! 💪🏼🍺⛺️
I have only one huge disappointment with this series of videos. . . . . . .
They're finished 😢😢
Excellent achievement and brilliant videos.
Congratulations and Thanx !!
"Watch him give me covid" literally made me laugh out loud and got me a row off the wife because I'm in bed, supposed to be sleeping before my night shift tonight. Not watching youtube lol. Brilliant series mate. Thanks for sharing the journey with us.
Well Hazey lad, what a phenomenal achievement, I feel guilty and ashamed that I binged watched your epic journey from the safety and comfort of my armchair, I can`t imagine how difficult this challenge would be mentally and physically but you did it. Humans are amazing, Some of us don`t achieve in 2 years what you did in two weeks, just wow, give yourself a massive pat on your back pack. Loved every minute of your endless waffling and euphemism's and your aim to keep the faith became my aim to watch you keep the faith then drink the faith at that big white goal of a lighthouse. This was pure youtube Gold, not sure if any other adventure could beat it, though maybe, Christopher McCandless`s journey into the wild or more so Robyn Davidson`s Tracks which totally engrossed me a few years back, here is a relevant quote from her book "“The two important things that I did learn were that you are as powerful and strong as you allow yourself to be, and that the most difficult part of any endeavour is taking the first step, making the first decision.” Cin cin
Well done mate from one proud Yorkshireman to another, you certainly kept the faith!!
*Hazey= Thank F it's over...
*Everyone else = Nooooooo! I don't want it to be over.
never has a beer been more well deserved . i cant do things like this coz i cant walk very far but watching this makes me feel like i done it myself i even had a can when you did. keep it up mucka and be safe
Lad, you should check out a channel called SEA. Got some mind blowing videos on there in regards to Space, all broken down for us normies too.
I've laughed & cried throughout this series, shared your pain & joy. You've brought back memories both good & bad of the CWT. You're some geezer. Thank-you!..I hope to have the good fortune of bumping into you on the trail sometime. Peace brother
I've watched the whole 14 days journey. That was better than any Hollywood movie! Haha
Yes to exploring space, no to a one world gov ;) Congrats on a great youtube series and a great walk.
That was the most amazing journey I have watched. So proud of you and your followers. As a team we need to do more to get you your first plaque. I would love to send you a case of US MRE’s for your up coming journeys as a congratulations. Not sure how to make sure u get them. Can you tell me how?
Best hiking series this year. Proper enjoyable lad.
What can I say well done, inspired and "Utrinque Paratus" as always
Been waiting for this absolutely brilliant walk this was enjoyed every episode looking forward to the next adventure take care from Lincolnshire England 🇬🇧❤😊
The best advert for Northern Monk, EVER!
Well done , thoroughly enjoyed watching your journey, brings back memories of doing t in the late early 2000s, we did in 2 stages as its a rough trek at the best of times.
Its time the T Shirts with MEDIC! were released lol
So good mate! Felt it with you all the way. From New Zealand!
10/10. Absolute full respect sausage - you’re my hero. Hats off to you mate , you deserved that Monk !! X
Your next challenge cycling the western isles
Ok, who's gonna tell him about SpaceX? Great series man, and well done. All the best from Norway.
Die with memories, not dreams Haze my boy. You truly are living life. Loved the series. Even got a little emo at the end when you cracked the can.
Loved this series. What an achievement Hazy. Your an inspiration! ✌❤
A series of vids much better than mainstream TV could ever produce. it could easily win any outdoor documentary award on so many levels.
Hats off to you Hazo. I've followed you along the C2C, seen your show us your steak, your early ramblings with Joey D just slurping away and everything in between. But this series is by far the most brilliant one to date. Love the filming, editing and commentary. You should be proper proud of that one. And your positive attitude throughout is contagious. Keep it up. You are the embodiment of dreaming up an idea and making that happen through hard work...ok that one might be cheesy, but it's true.
Long story short. Love your content. Very touching.
I know you may still be recovering but seriously... where next? This has been the best thing I've seen on UA-cam or anywhere. More please.
Southern upland way?
I'd love to see what you do the couple of days after to recover and deal with what your legs must be like
Just get back to work mate. 🤙
Absolutely superb! Ive loved watching this series and what an achievement ! You could really see the sense of accomplishment when you were at the lighthouse. Nice one boss! Love it. I need to know how you got back to the ferry though? Did you manage to blag a list or did you have to walk? All the best, GJ.
Completely perfect. Thanks for the laughs, the MEDICS, the outer space chat, and for the term "Noggin bollocks." Mine may be a little damp right now... but... YOU DID IT, MATE!!
What a great series. I'm lucky I could watch the whole thing back to back in one day. :D
Congratulations matey. Really enjoyed your journey. Slightly unimpressed that you didn't bang the whole can in one go and smash the empty can on your forehead but maybe that's just me? Take care, looking forward to your next epic tale!
lol.. we can leave that for Craig at EAST ANGLIA BUSHCRAFT ( not sure if he is allowed to smuggle Haribo's over the border though)
Fantastic achievement and superbly documented from start to finish - thoroughly entertaining. The adventures and the filming just keep on getting better and better.
If ever a man deserved a beer it is you Mr Haze - congratulations 👍🍺
Hey! We were going to send out a search party for you. What an achievement! You should feel so proud of yourself. Rest, relax & recuperate.
Much respect and much love, mate. Enjoyed every (edited) second of it. Wondering if editing it all is a slug after living it for 14 days?
Sign me up for space Ferrero Rocher. Let’s make Lyndor the silver treat, and gold would be… Well, you have to go to know!
Thanks for these vids, Haze!
Brilliant sir, truelly ballsy achievement, because I know that hurt, well done
Uncle Hazy, that was genuinely awesome man! Watched every one, me and the wife, and it was emotional mate. Just fab! Congratulations. See you at the space station (the Gold one). 🙏
Have been waiting for this since the last episode. I've never been to Scotland, but planning a trip to the Highlands because of this series (might pick up a few bonus bottles of Scotch)
Man that was emotional at the end! I'm an endurance cyclist and runner but stumbled across your channel a month or so ago and you've become my "go to" whenever I sit down to watch something. I've been working through your back catalogue whilst impatiently waiting for the next Cape Wrath episode. Absolutely love it mate! Come and visit East Yorkshire and do the 79 mile Wolds Way. It's stunning and very underrated round here. Keep up the great work and stay safe.
Such an awesome video, really enjoyed watching this series and gutted it’s over, can’t wait to share your next adventure mate 👏🍺
Loved watching this trek so much dude. Hilariously bonkers. And your other videos helped me do the C2C earlier this year. Now I want the CTW to do next. Keep the Faith!
