I love the Cleveland Way. My wife and I did that walk when there was problems happening in our life. It brought us together to fight those problems together. Even now I have a deep fondness for what the Cleveland Way did for me.
I'm disabled so walking is kinda hard for me but as I watch you look out when you were high up the view I thought I recognise as Sutton Bank, as I've been there at the visitors centre, I enjoyed this video very much, even though I couldn't walk that distance myself, by watching you I do kind of get to do it all be it vicariously.
Nice one again Hazy. I love the map walk through you’re doing too. I love a paper map too, they don’t run out of battery or lose signal when you’re in trouble and need directions ❤️👍⛺️
Great video, I was half expecting you to say “shade o conner” while under the tree drinking your coffee. These are actually my highlights , you say some right corkers.
"I ATE IT" - Oh my lord I lost it 🤣 Looking to do a multi-day hike soon, this is inspiring. It's good to see the trials and tribulations someone with more experience comes across. I've seen a few videos where you give tips and advice, but if there's anything you feel particulary strongly about sharing, please do 😉
Great time, thanks for taking me along. It's great how many cities in the USA are named after cities in the UK. Your Cleveland is much more beautiful than ours. Respect from Florida 🌴
A few days before we set off to walk the Cleveland Way, we discovered your channel and this playlist. I can't even begin to tell you how much we love your videos - they have been so helpful in planning our trip and very entertaining too! Because of you, we knew there was no cafe in Kildale - which was really helpful info as we stocked up on extra water. We walked the whole thing admiring latch and locks and shouting medic! When we got back from walking it last week, we watched your whole playlist again. Thank you for your channel! We've watched the Cumbria Way and Coast to Coast since then too, next up Cape Wrath I reckon. Total legend you are.
"Medic!" and "I ate it" had me laughing out loud 😂 Great content mate. I know you’ve had your issues with mental health lately and I wish you well but watching you certainly helps mine no end.
Meet my wife while stationed in Uxbridge, UK. Her family is from Harrogate, North Yorkshire. We are now living in Idaho. I watch a lot of backpacking type videos and yours is the only one she will watch with me. Thanks for being real and being you. Love your content, keep it coming!
Hazy von Tazi, thank you 🙏 😊 this is just what the doctor ordered for this evening. Have been disappointed all today with mankind (man not so kind)! Blessings sent your way 🙏 and Noth Yok shirey is indeed majestic!
Absolutely adore your videos Haze - it's like hanging out with a mate I've never met. It does make me giggle when you walk back to the camera, the fact that you leave that in is fab. All the best from a dirty Southerner xxx
Brilliant! Hats off to you walking in that heat, I just about died mowing the lawn. Thanks to your channel I have given myself a kick up the arse and started multi-day hiking (again). I did half the Two Moors Way in April, back to finish it off end of the month.
Yer right Sir! Yorkshire is our Jerusalem, green and such pleasant land. If you were to dig below the turf we would deff strike a rich vein of treacle and Victoria sponge with a pot of Yorkshire tea.. Really enjoyed this film mate...💥👍🏼🙏😁
That little shooting valley can be quite an interesting place when the “team building” corporates (tax expenses) go through. Or even better when they shoot overhead and you’re walking through the valley. It smells amazing when the wild garlic is full. I’ve loved it. So many nice walks with my dogs through there. But after the “toffs” were active one visit I’ve never gone back.
Congratulations on 100K! You've worked very hard to get there. Here's to another 100K. Cheers. That was a long day but interesting and beautiful to see the countryside. Only I felt bad about the poor animal in need of medical attention. It made me worry about him. I'm hoping someone is able to find him and get help. Seemed close to houses so, fingers crossed. Hope you had a good nights rest and not too sunburned. Drink plenty of water. See you on the morrow.
You just can’t beat a Hazey multi hike adventure. Thoroughly enjoy all your videos mate and they have helped cheer me up on many a dark day. Looking forward to the rest of the series 👍
Home! ❤ This is my neck of the woods (very literally!) and yes it isn't big dramatic scenery like the highlands or the lakes, but it has its own beauty and charm. And in weather like that you'll have seen it at its best. (edited to add that it will be pheasants and partridge being reared around rievaulx :) )
Osmotherley is so close to where my Grandparents used to live (Ellerbeck), thank you for reminding me of the beautiful countryside I used to see on school holidays. X
Inspirational stuff mate, and thats just the latch and locks. Love the showcasing of known walks. Quality content man. Congrats on the sub milestone. Well deserved 👍
Hiya Hazey. I'm just wondering if you've ever been to Malham and Malham cove. Being from Lancashire it was a place my old primary school would take the final year kids to on holiday each year before we went off to big school. I really loved it. First time I'd seen curlews or buzzards or skylarks or deer in the wild - a great big herd of them through the morning mist, and those who wanted to could go on nighttime walks through the woods where we saw fireflies and luminous bugs etc. It was one of the best memories I have of all my time at school. I'm going back to the late 70s here when an orange cagoul and wellies meant you were proper kitted out. But I think I can trace my love of nature and the northern landscape back to that holiday. It really was a magical time.
Just finished editing a new overnighter video and was begging to shrink it down below 15min but the best I could do was 41min, you went ahead and filled this video here with a bunch of stories, lord! I wish I didn't have to be adding content instead of trying to get rid of them.
Wow last week I went throug Hounslow enclousure in New forest and the name reminded me of Helmsley. Nice one. Im from near you originally as well. And today you are showing me this place near Helmsley its popped up again. Loads of animals in the New forest. Abandoned horses and donkeys all over the place.
Absolutely stunning video! The compositions, the colours, everything is just perfect. People like you motivate others to go outside and explore. Congratulations, excellent job!
I remeber seeing the little hut near the grouse lodge in another video years back. I think it was The Trail Hunter. It's heart warming seeing these sort of things still standing. Thanks for sharing, Hazey.
Love the cleveland way i did it in March 2022 I’d highly recommend waiting till April as everything is open! Weirdly I set off on a 3 day hike along The Pennine way the same day as you set off on here ….. I bombed out on day one due to the heat with heat stroke 🥵 So Hazey I feel your pain!!! Great video mate 👍🏻
The news was like... *STAY IN IT'S DANGEROUSLY HOT* Haze... I'll see your hot and raise you a 20 mile hike haha! All jokes aside, it's nice to see someone with their own brain and not give into the constant fear mongering that's shoved in our faces everyday! What a video this one was. That area is beautiful! I'm in Kent and we got some nice spots if you ever trundle along down here lol
Walked the Cleveland Way about 12 years ago, still my favourite trail 👌 We had similar weather... just 1 thunder storm at Ravenscar! Water was an issue for us as well! Looking forward to the rest of your trip. Thanks for sharing, cheers Alistair 👍
That brought back some memories! I walked it as a 17yr old with my Venture Unit............over 35 years ago!!! (Gee I'm getting old!) It's a fabulous walk, but the first 2 days are killers!
Very right ! Don't get cockey... I went walking over Dartmoor ..32C ! Then twisted ankle .. bit of a struggle to get back to safety. It did put the s*"ts up me.. I have now invested in GPS with inreach .. Stay safe Hazey ! LOVE the vids ..
Just when I think I’ve had my share of Hazy videos, your off again! Looking forward to this one. I’d say stay hydrated but I know there’s going to be some serious dunking the junk. Lastly congrats on the 100k, obviously watched until the end 😉🙌
Dude, I like you. Just found ur channel, ur funny, you talk like I talk to myself while walking 😊 My heart is in Cleveland way, so hopefully one day our paths my cross x
I've done 3 parts of the coastal section so far, hoping to one day do it all in one. Thank you for making this, will give me a good insight into the other bits I've not done.
Proper adventure. Must admit, it's an area i haven't explored enough. Looks great. That was a warm week we had. I did a 10k walk on the same day near me. It was like a hot day on Tattooine. 😀
Absolutely brilliant as always chap ...I'm always waiting for that notification for your next video ...always inspiring ..keep up the good work Hazy boy🤪
I love the Cleveland Way. My wife and I did that walk when there was problems happening in our life. It brought us together to fight those problems together. Even now I have a deep fondness for what the Cleveland Way did for me.
I’m wanting to do a trail with my wife soon
