Great song and fantastic playing from Hazuki and Lisa-X , but for me, the star of the song and it’s most impressive element, is the singer. She is incredible. Her, Asami, Fuki and Su-Metal are the best female Japanese metal singers I’ve heard. Her voice is perfection.
Just love the look on your face as Rina's vocals come in. I've watched reaction videos of this song from drummers, guitarists etc and almost everybody does an odd facial expression. "Wait, what the hell? That's in English . Hey, she's got a nice voice." Your reaction is priceless.
I really don't know how it works. But Japanese women seems to be saving Hard Rock n Rock n Roll for us all. Really strong sound and loved the contrast between the hard as a rock sound and the softnness of the voice. Great band. Thank you for introducing me to them and sharing your reaction. Kanpai 🍻
Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 We say "Japan is a country obsessed by Rock Music". I believe the obsession started in 1966 when Beatles visited Japan and held 5 concerts at Budokan. Talking about hard rock / heavy metal music, a number of bands started to come to Japan thereafter : Led Zeppelin / Grand Funk Railroad (1971), Deep Purple (1972), Iron Maiden (1981) and so on. Now, any type of rock can be enjoyed here and we can see a number of good male bands, too. In a popular TV program, Keiko, a lead singer of Show-Ya (a pioneer of Japanese all-female bands) and Saki (Nemophila) emphasized one thing saying "BABYMETAL is not a ALL-female band, but thanks to their international success many music fans in foreign countries became aware of female bands in Japan. They opened doors for us". Uh oh, we also say "Japan is a country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄
@@flugelhornoldman1362 you are so much more than welcome, brother. Besides all the things you mention upthere, You people, have a plus. Which you have a method, for everything. You don't try and get lucky. You have a goal and work hardly on it. I mean, when you succeed, and you truly do. Is not because of a lucky strike. So you deserves to succeed . The problem Is, i think, Is that there's no Japanese band that ever succeed like those bands you mentioned above. And Why Is that? Not because of them but because of the record companies. @@flugelhornoldman1362 The Japanese, from a cultural aspect, just work harder than us here in the U.S. They seek perfection in everything they do. They've EARNED their spot as ROCK GREATS! Rock is dying in the U.S. So glad JAPAN has kept it alive! I was speaking to a very high level woman in classical music, who determines whether a classical musician gets into their symphony orchestra or not. She agreed with me about Japanese musicians, but also stated that there is one problem with almost all of the musicians she auditions. They are technically perfect but many lack creativeness. The music education in Japan is very strong and creates tons of awesome musicians. This is my belief. The system is so structured that the musicians who are really creative, probably feel stifled, so they eventually break out of the classical scene and look for something that they can be more creative in, and also just have fun. They seek Rock, Heavy Metal, Jazz, and other genres that interest them. It seems that most of the musicians in these genres started playing classical music at Ages 3-5, so they have such a solid base to build off of, and this is probably why there are so many awesome Japanese, and Asian in general, musicians by the time they are 9 y.o.
Great Song Great kid ! Lisa-X was signed to Sony Entertainment at 13 yrs old. She released her first album call Will soon after.. its really good. Her band now is just fantastic. Hope you have fun listening to her music. Shell be 16 in a week.. man shes getting old. oh wait thats me.. dang.
Song, band, performance of the year! Not just international but globally! Come on American industry chiefs, bury your biases! Billy Sheehan doesn’t play with just anybody! Brilliant! As close to heaven my ears have ever been!
As I learn to play guitar, I have found inspiration in Hazuki (the guitarist with glasses). Her method with Lisa-X and Nemophila are genuine. She tells the world through her guitar, instead of an outward image.
I made the mistake of listening to this song when it was released. Now I can't stop. Everything about this song is gorgeous! I clicked right away when I saw you reacted to it because I knew you were going to love it! Lisa-X and Hazuki are amazing but Rina's vocals during the choruses 😲🤯
I think many of us have come to expect Lisa-X and Hazuki to kill everything they do, Rina really hit us from nowhere with this. I'm loving that these non-traditional voices (deeper and more nasality than usual) are blowing up in Japan.
Hazuki is going to have a lot of work in her future once Li-sa-X gets out of high school. I'm sure Saki can give her plenty of tips though since Saki was actually recording for Nemophila and Mary's Blood at the same time.
Completely agreed. I did not know about Kanade on drums. This explains a lot ... So cool. 👍🤘🙏 Hope she is or will be the official and regular drummer of this amazing band.
the drummer that would fit perfectly in this band would be Bunga Bangsa. Check out her cover of Lisa's (blackpink member) song "lalisa" and you'll get my point.
Wait, Miho? THE Miho? Former Lovebites? Anyway, weird that the video does not show the drummer and bass player. Keyboards, I'm used to that. But the others, it was weird. :-)

About the drummer. I read somewhere it might be Kanade Sato, but I have no idea if that is true or not. Most things I've heard Kanade play is more fusion and jazz, but she does some metal things as well.
Next, "One more chance is enough" then "Just be my treasure" playthrough!!!! Lisa -X is awesome and has been around for years and played with lots of amazing guitarists.

And to think that Li-Sa-X is only turning 17 Feb 8th. She has such a great future ahead of her but of course after she finishes school
crazy good. thank you for introducing them to me.
Rina just slays the vocals on this, it's very 'pop' while Lisa-X and Hazuki (Nemophila) just shred. If pop music sounded like this, I'd listen to it.
