- This is a 2002 toyota solara TRD. It's a rare model which came with a 5 speed manual and supercharger that bumped power up by about 50hp. Other options that are included with the TRD package are a Toyota installed short shifter, upgraded suspension (this one has had the struts replaced) and wheels (also replaced).

@@jonathangomez8269 did you end up getting that one? I guess high miles is okay if you're willing to get the engine and tranny rebuilt and take care of the wheel bearings and stuff. And if the body is decent with minimal rust.
@@nthgth no I got a 2005 Camry le with 144k miles on it clean title and with the full spare , the guy also had all the oil changes recorded on a little book , they took it to the dealership for the maintenance

It's not a "edition" somewhere a long the lines a customer/dealer added all these ADDONS.
I get the OP's point though. The new Camry TRD edition is tge FIRST TRD Camry.

+KINGG ABDA lol some people will believe anything. Show me ONE brochure, picture, ad, ANYTHING for a TRD Avalon. There's a reason TRD didn't offer any parts for the Avalon; it was a luxury car. All parts were for the Solara.
+Aaron Silvestri it is a solara not an Avalon, the TRD stuff where added on by Toyota it self brand new at the dealer. It's a package

+KINGG ABDA yah screwed up the comment. There's a chance the DEALER put those parts on, but not Toyota and it is 100% not a special edition. Those are off the shelf parts that anyone could buy.

Cody P I gotta rebuild the supercharger. But having hard time finding parts for it. I need to rebuild it than put a smaller pulley. I love this car to much. I don't want to put to much stress on it. I am also looking to get a custom exhaust from beginning all the the way to the end with a dual tip. And I also gotta put it back to original hight, the guy before me was dumb and put Chinese camry springs and struts. So the car is sitting way to high. Higher than a regular solara.

It got totaled 2 years ago. I wanted to take the supercharger out, but the insurance didn't allow it as it was taken as TRD package

@@ninthcloud6331 @Boricua De verda I was part of a group of Solara enthusiasts from '99-02 in SoCal. We rolled 30+ to Toyota events and even got a private tour at the Toyota museum in Torrance. Actually, Toyota made a limited edition TRD Solara in 1999 that came with a v6, 5 speed, bodykit and 17" TRD wheels with Toyo tires and each were numbered 1 of about 2-3000 with the number being shown on the dash.. They were not supercharged though. I had 4 friends who bought them straight from the dealers and they each had a different number on the dash signifying a limited edition. I also bought my Solara in 1999 and passed on the TRD version that the dealer had on the lot. It's possible that the dealers put in orders for the TRD Solara as a whole car but they didn't simply order a body kit and wheels to slap on an existing Solara, otherwise they wouldn't all be numbered.

TRD made one single "TRD Edition" Solara to show off all their parts, but that wasn't ever any option you could buy.
