Full-Size American Luxury SUV Comparison: 2018 Lincoln Navigator vs 2018 Cadillac Escalade
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 чер 2018
- This is a very close comparison but not an exact one-to-one Full-Size American Luxury SUV Comparison since we have the extended version of the Escalade but not the longer version of the Navigator. Also the Escalade is RWD while the Navigator is 4WD. Pricing for the 2018 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum 4x2 starts at $96,795 while the 2018 Lincoln Navigator Black Label 4x4 goes for $93,705.
When you buy a large Luxury SUV like this it’s about making a statement so you need a prominent front end. Lincoln has applied their new corporate grill to the Navigator. The Escalade meanwhile has been using the same front fascia for a while and it still looks great. Both of these top-of-the-line models are riding on 22-inch rims.
The Lincoln Navigator SUV is powered by a 3.5 liter twin-turbocharged V-6 that makes 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft. of torque. The Cadillac Escalade is powered by a 6.2 liter V-8 making 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft. of torque.

Build me an SUV with the interior of the Lincoln and the exterior of the Cadillac and I'm SOLD!
The new 2020 Cadillac escalade
Yep
With lexus/toyota reliability
The all-new 2022 Cadillac Navigator
Yes👍🏻
Cadillac escalade mafia choice
Lincoln navigator Gentleman's choice
LOL! who wants to be a gentleman when your out in this world?
Mercedes Benz G Wagon - the oligarch's choice.
@Atlantic Pacific Beverly Hills soccer moms are married to American oligarchs.
Chevrolet Suburban: The Mexican Cartel's choice
gmc yukon denali is also for mafia’s choice😂
For me, the only downfall of the Lincoln is the back end. Everything else is perfect.
And the eco junk
A Cadillac Escalade is just a badge that sells well. Quality and actual luxury, that’s all Lincoln Navigator! That being said, I can’t afford neither of them. 😉
either*
once you get grammar down, you might be able to afford one
@@SurvivingAnotherDay I am very happy the grammar police is alive and well. You brought such an intelligent comment that you have made UA-cam a better place.. Go on now and find another fight to bring your self importance to.
Brad Knorr you go get em’ tiger
Giovanni B shouldn’t you shut up and stuff your face full of pasta ?
Yes they are pricey! Get you a c.p.o. mkz with the 3.7 you'll be happy and so will your wallet!
Interior: Navigator
Exterior: Escalade
I prefer the other way around, especially the exterior front.
TR P lexus cars are ugly on the front, and on inside, whenever I see a Lexus I think of Toyota
Exactly
Wahid Rashidov well, don't think that because it's a shitty American car, I would take a real German any day
BluMac Lol why is it shitty? Most American cars are much more durable than German cars. I know because I’ve worked on both. American cars normally are much easier to work on and replace parts. Whereas on modern German cars, it’ll require you to take half the car apart just to get to something.
Holy shit the interior on the Navigator is on another level lol.
Watch you mouth but yeah i agree.
Royce Johnson Hey, you watch your fucking mouth too!
Lincoln Navigator all the way.
Clinton Pough Just wait till the gen 5 Escalade next year
@@dyslexicteletubby4048 I prefer the Lincoln
Navigator wins with a knockout here.
ali west After sitting in the Lincoln navigator, honestly I'd rather pick it over the Range rover and the other imports. They really did it. The interior was amazing!
ali west but those rear end lights m8
ali west my parents own the navigator
@@bilalc4415 I love the range but not the cost of parts.
@@FaithandNova honestly after owning a Mercedes, i appreciate buying American now. Lol
I absolutely love Cadillac and gm, but Lincoln wins here. The interior is just unparalleled. Exterior is mixed for me. I like Lincoln's front end but i like Cadillac's front and rear.
ESCALADE IS JUST A TAHOE WITH MINOR UPGRADES
@
I'll just be a one term, or even less, orange clown
That's where you are incredibly wrong. Germans hate their own cars and prefer American cars. But because American cars fetch an import premium, not many can buy them. I've been to Germany hundreds of times and many tell me they prefer American cars and would buy one if they were equally priced.
D Tay totally agree the Lincoln is much better but the Escalade does have the better back
Rico Robertson Rico I understand you statement with regards to European cars being less reliable on "average". However even the Volvo XC90 is a better class vehicle than the Escalade. These American vehicles have bold looks which is what people like but inferior wise omg its tacky and doesn't suit the price tag. The Lincoln steps up however its design aesthetic suits an older crowd.
I'll just be a one term, or even less, orange clown *Facepalm*
“classless”
um half the European cars that’s “luxurious” only ppl with millions of dollars can afford. I’m pretty sure even Europeans can’t afford a Bentley or Rolls-Royce. American luxury cars are for everyone and anyone not just for someone with millions of dollars.
“In Europe nearly no one wants to be seen in a an American car”
So explain why the Ford Fiesta and the Ford Fusion BOTH being American cars are the top selling sedans in Europe? Like the guy who commented stated “you’re not being from Europe proves your ignorance” or something to that order
The Escalade is gorgeous on the outside, but the Navigators interior blows away pretty much anything on the market.
Rebadged Fords lol
range rover is shit compared to Lincoln
Wrong the Escalade is you choose your interior I have one with a completely different leather that is so luxurious
@네이선 Your are definitely not wrong considering the Navigatir interior is a literal mixture of Audi and Mercedes interior designing. It screams German styling, but I guess it's better than having an ugly design period.
Get range rover it has better looking exterior and interior than both of them
Navigator it's just perfect 👌
That Navigator is absolutely gorgeous, it makes the Escalade look cheap
PCM24 97 which one did you say you own?
PCM24 97 I’m going to find out !!!!
@ nigga you cant even afford either of them. lol
Take the escalades exterior and combine it with the Lincolns interior and it would be perfect
Call it the Cadillincoln Escalator
amazing
+Tony R xD
I said the same about the Cadillac xts and the continental
There is a reason why ur comment has 69 likes
that navigator is beautiful, leagues above the escalade in my opinion.
c p I actually think the navigator front end looks better. I saw it in black, then looked at my Denali and the Escalade next to mine and they just didn’t compare. Now the back of the Escalade to me looks better
NOOO
cantbsdave yeah and you're driving a $60k luxury vehicle that has a pickup truck gear shifter on the steering wheel lol. I've never understood why people buy these vehicles but to each their own
well yeah cause its all new this model escalade has been out sense 2015 and will probably get a new model in 2020
I agree it is quit nice, but just looking at he video it seems a whole lot less everyday practical
Damn I love my Escalade but I had to check out the Navigator after I realized how much they cost & they got an incredible interior.
Lincoln is top car beautiful
that Navigator is hands elegant and handsome and my Escalade to the trade-in right now
My grandmother liked the Navigator, hands down after that! I bought the Escalade. LOVE IT!!
For $100,000 my family better be able to live in there.
You can live in the Navigator . But make sure you order it with hot and cold CHAMPAGNE . You must apply NOW
TheDomain16 I know that's right lol
You can XD
When I get older imma save up for it xD
TheDomain16. You would have a mansion compared to those economy cars some people live in.
Interior:Navigator:Outstanding
Lincoln’s interior is so amazing!
I like both but the Lincoln Navigator is better
Navigator all day! The new design! Way better than the escalade!
The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally think the front doesn't go with the rest of the car. They did much better job with Expedition.
Yeah. But it's still a prettied up FORD...
Paul Salmon No it’s not.
My Hero Academia Um yes it is; it’s literally on the same chassis as the expedition. The Escalade is its own car.
Vickie Pitrof the escalade rides on the same platform as the tahoe and yukon. Which it also shares many parts with as does the expedition and navigator. Along with many other vehicles. Sharing some bits and pieces isnt exactly a bad thing. Lincoln and ford arent the only company to do it.
I love your vocabulary! Not as boring to listen to like the other car reviews. Also, amazing review! Subscribed.
As a big big big Lincoln fan, I would have chosen the Navigator anyway, but I have to admit, the escalade is pretty good too !! Two great cars indeed !!!
Lincoln is gorgeous
Love Lincoln Navigator
❤️
I'm just glad to see American car brands making quality products again!
Both reliability are sub-standard.
jawhite991 that’s a good one “quality products” haven’t seen that in a really really long time
@@Irondiesel Whatever.
I watched so many of these reviews and this guy is one of the best.
Good overall presentation
The question is which one of them looks and feels like it's worth over 100K.? For me personally the answer is the Navigator.
TR P it's nice, but not on the level of luxury as this Navigator. In my opinion.
Rebadged Ford and Yukon lol
I Finn caddy. I can deal with the Cue, not a big problem with me. I’ve had experiences wit the old cue. It was fine. Didn’t upset me. I think the Cadillac car I was in was a STS or ST6 I don’t remember. This was back in 2012 it was a nice ass caddy. It was super super smooth it had remote start and it had push to start with the smart key access too. Which is really dated now to every car brand. I would take the Cadillac because it’s more authentic to me. It’s the car everyone would want. Who’s really gonna wanna buy a Ford for 95k when you can go buy a better ford/Rand Rover for the same price and the Range Rover would be better!? I would rather have the Range Rover than the Navigator. Cadillac I would take any day. Cadillac is like the king of luxury. Nothing can be it. Nothing is as smooth as it. Nothing is as good as it. I mean. Unless you go get a foreign car. But that’s no real American luxury.
My dad got his black lincon navigator for 20k but it was a little used
FazeTug Unlike the Cadillac the Lincoln actually has pretty significant upgrades from the Expedition.
Plus Ford and Lincoln are among the pack leaders when it comes to American reliability while Cadillac is rated below all of Chrysler’s brands.
More like wants to spend $95k for a upscale Tahoe with below average reliability.
Lincoln had blown it away. Really amazing vehicle. Worth noting that the Escalade has been ranked as one of the most unreliable Vehicles last two years in a row. Hoping Lincoln doesn't run into issues with the Navigator.
Mike Hoard Try again. Stop reaching. You didn’t read that ANYWHERE.
Mike Hoard also worth noting that the reliability issues have been through the electronics, which I find dumb that they prioritize that over mechanical issues since infotainment replacements are cheaper and easier but oh well
Mike Hoard The Escalade actually blows the navigator away with more stuff such as extra tech such as teen driver tech and meg Eric steering control, the options of two DVD players for the second and third row, better torque, a better mpg, a better styled and comfortable interior, an aggressive yet stylish exterior coming standard with auto deploying boards, a better engine, a similar starting price, and a more leg room. Now the Navigator is the one that is unreliable, because it just had a nasty recall having to also deal with the Expedition and f150.
www.autonews.com/article/20180406/OEM11/180409758/ford-recall-f-150-expedition-transmissions
Ford and Lincoln have also had the most recalls since the 90’s. Ford and Lincoln also have less experience than GM, because the Expedition and navigator started in the 1990’s when large SUVs were all the rage, but the Escalades sibling, the suburban started all the way back in 1935, having the longest running nameplate in automotive history. The Lincoln and Escalade did place side by side in the crash test, but the Escalade did do better in the rollover crash test than the navigator did. The Escalade also technically is 3inches longer and 5 inches wider making it the larger vehicle that it is.
Mike Hoard him
PGm issa That’s a funny joke, you should be a Comedian. Just because you blow transmission with your plastic tubs you call “LinCoLns” doesn’t mean every other brand does. Try again.
If I was over 60 years old I would look good in the Navigator. But the Escalade looks very luxury sport for any age.
This is a great comparison u have explained each and every single detail , great video
@4:25 I feel like this guy is on GM's payroll. That Lincoln is killing Cadillac in every way.
Huh?
The navigator is ugly as hell on the outside, and do you really think someone saying “I got a Navigator” and “I got a Escalade” has the same effect on a group of people?
Cadillac dominates on exterior and name recognition over every single American auto manufacturer. When the 5th generation comes out next year it will be THE American vehicle once again.
Dyslexic Teletubby let’s not say things we can’t take.
Matt Cameron It May not mean anything to you but slapping the Cadillac logo on anything would increase its value. I get people have their own opinions, but I feel like everyone is constantly complaining about the Escalade. It’s like nobody is forcing you to buy one quit complaining.
Except in sales. Lincoln thinking of ending the Navigator altogether after sales were so bad in 2018.
Both are depreciation kings!
Not the Lincoln, the Continental has showed that its holding depreciation better than Acuras, and Cadillacs, its still shy of Lexus though
facts, they are dropping fast the first one to hit $30k I'm buying, already seeing escalades with 50k miles for $35k
Ponygt 662 Look at the price of a 2007 Navigator vs a 2007 Escalade. GM vehicles hold their value MUCH better than Ford products.
Amy Davis You’re looking at a 2007 price point value? Many things have changed since then. Both a solid vehicles but I prefer the Lincoln
John Reid Yes, I am looking at a 2007 because we’re talking about deprecation, which happens over an extended period of time. And quite frankly, a forced induction engine like the Navigator has will never be as reliable as an under stressed, large displacement, naturally aspirated engine in the Escalade, which is why Escalades sell so much more, and hold their value better.
This is a great review. Well thought out and informative. Good job.
Enjoyed your video thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Good pick
Been driving the Cadi long wheel base for over 6 months. It’s definitely better in cargo space. We put a couch in it.
There is hidden storage behind the center console.
It’s pretty fast with a lot of but could use a little more power.
Just here to say that the hidden storage in the console is very decent and has 3 more usb outlets!
We recently had an 2019 navigator as a rental for a few days and it was absolutely incredible, and we only had the base model. I would 100% buy one if it fit our lifestyle!
I've always been a fan of Lincoln, and they've really upped their game here with this Navigator. That interior is quite amazing.
An excellent review. Very well done. Thanks so much!
Thanks for the feedback, Kellington!
Lincoln is the best ❤️
I really liked the reviewer's style, he gave me a great impression of both vehicles and was entertaining to watch. Excellent review.
Dear God the Navigators interior 😍😍😍
I love caddies but I’ll take the Navigator, at least until they update the Escalade
The Coffee Field I gotta feeling come 2020 or 2021 cadillac is gonna maka a new Escalade in response to Lincoln's Navigator.
Just My Opinion you were right
Just My Opinion believe me the newly redesigned Escalade won’t be a response to the Navigator, it’ll be a response to the entire segment and a testament to the new direction of Cadillac. Lincoln isn’t at Cadillacs focus anymore, they surpassed them many years ago. Caddy has bigger fish to fry than the navigator that the current Escalade already outsells
New escalades interior is still meh
Escalades interior is a let down :/
Its 4 years older now
James ok and? It was a let down four years ago and still is today.
Agreed, completely tacky
Just look like, but when you drive both you feel better the Escalade, navigator is just lights
I work for Cadillac Design. Just wait until 2020. The new Escalades are going to be beautiful. This video is comparing a brand new generation of Navigator to an end-of-cycle Escalade. Try comparing a 2015 Navigator to a 2015 Escalade.
I've been in both, and I'll tell you the truth, I fell in love with the Lincoln Navigator at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Very detailed review I enjoyed watching, definitely helped my decision
You gonna watch this in 10 years
Whoever designed the interior for the escalade was on crack
The Escalade was on the market since 2015 meanwhile the navigator got overhauled not too long ago. But obviously you're too stupid to notice
@@spengg_shell Like i really give a shit still looks like crap
Is that why you felt the need to comment?
@@spengg_shell And only a crack head like you would know.
Dude it literally look like a FBI or SWAT car
Great video, thank you for making it simple, I don’t like Escalade quality and buttons they were very poor like work truck. Lincoln wins the quality. I didn’t test the navigator but Escalade was very powerful and smooth ride
Dude, thank you, my 2 dream cars, appreciate it bro,
Good reviewer of features. Like the words like "cosseted".. and agree that the navigator wheels "hypnotically sucked me in". Get these things out in the snow to see which one gets stuck first and you got a well-rounded review!
Navigator because the all leather interior in the Cadillac Escalade makes it seem all cookie cutter maybe it's the color idk
LINOCLN ITS JUST LIGHTS WHEN YOU DRUVE BOTH ESCALADE WIN BY FAAAAAAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lmao the Escalade has the looks ....the navigator has the eww
yea it has the same looks since like '08, completely stale
John, I TOTALLY agree!
N.E. Davis it does look nice, however I worry about the durability of that center console if you haul anything in the back. I know it comes in different colors but I feel like that white leather looks great on a show room and in testers, but in the real world that leather is getting torn up and is gonna turn of white pretty quick, especially with kids.
I have the Cadillac. 2017. Should have waited for the Lincoln. 2018
I like his review, very thorough, I won't switch from Escalade, but I see you Lincoln, that interior is incredible
Good Comparison. Thanks for posting.
I’m waiting for this comparison، I think your channel first channel do it. Thanks very much.
Glad we could accommodate!
Yes, so I looked for this comparison between the two cars but I did not find them except in this channel
I think Lincoln is win
Ahmed
Car Confection did this comparison a month ago ....... check their youtube channel
هههههههههههههه لا يشيخ
GM has to step it up and upgrade the interior before it's too late
Its never too late. Next Gen Escalade is coming. Bye Bye Lincoln
Lincoln actually needs to step up. The interior is super dope. I really really like it. But Ford and Lincoln are 3 years late to the party. In 2 or 3 years the new Escalade will make the Lincoln look like a expedition.
Agree. It's a bit claustrophobic in there. Says the guy who has owned cramped sports cars....😁
Come on *general mistake!*
Lincoln is the best!
The exterior too...it looks too much like the Yukon. Plus, enough with the square edges, they need to show some effort.
I hope Cadillac watched this___ a lot to learn from both side___ great video 👍🏾
Great review! Please do a similar one when the 2021 Escalade is available.
Man alive, $97k for an Escalade and they still have that clunky column shifter smh. Also I always like the center consoles in the 2nd row of the Navi's, all of the generations had them. Really feels like luxury
BrownBomber92181 What's wrong with column shifter? They are exotic in europe. Reminds me old American cars from 50s & 60s
Artūrs Andersons to each his own I guess, the shape of it tho it looks like the same ones in the gm pickups
Man all all these turn dials and push buttons to put a vehicle in gear how stupid. No wonder y this is so costly to repair. I'll stick with the column shifter.
Dodge Durango has a nob to put in gears. Must cost a lot to repair...
Column shifters are a cheap relic from a different time. I’ll pass on any vehicle that still has one.
For 96k you'd think 4wd would be standard on the Escalade. What a joke
Pennywise, absolutely not! Many drivers prefer the better fuel economy, or quicker acceleration and better handling of a RWD system. With electronic traction control and stability control, there is rarely a need for the more complex drivetrain (think reliability) of a 4WD system (unless off-road performance is desired). At this price-point drivers demand optional choices to meet their driving preferences; the more choices the better.
I think more luxury buyers would miss the entertainment features missing in the Navi than the 4WD in the Expy for the same money.
ktpinnacle entertainment? Who uses mounted TVs anymore? This is not 2005.
Raymond Jameson being I see plenty of new Navigator's with screens mounts on the back of the front seats on a daily basis I'd say a lot of people still do.
m h the only thing that would make any sense is the fuel economy, but by the time you're at this point in price what is 1 or 2 mpg less? You're really not losing much. Acceleration? Really? It's a damn bus. It's not supposed to be blistering fast. If you live in a state that gets terrible winter's 4wd will work better than any stability or traction control. My 2017 Explorer Sport is 4wd standard and only comes into play when the drive wheels slip. Nothing complex about it.
*Both are gorgeous! There's also the GMC Yukon Denali XL*
Quality is not an act it's a habit. Absolutely Lincoln navigator i love it
When did David De Gea start doing car reviews?
I just bought the Escalade ESV Platinum a few days ago. I've had a 2011 Lincoln Navigator and it had issues (poor electronics, poor DVD player). I've had a 2015 Escalade ESV Luxury and it had issues (side panel window inserts fell off). I got a new Escalade because it has a bolder look and has reliable electronics. The new Lincoln is unproven and not very kid friendly. My kids want movies and we have four screens to watch from (five if you include the center console).
its called ipads.
Jesus if you keep letting your kids stuff their face in electronics even when driving then they are going to disappoint.
Escalade has reliable electronics? Since when? It's a GM product. I'd trust Ford electronics over GM.
I've had the same problem with the side panel insert on my 2015 Yukon Denali. Such a poor design. You'd think you could expect more in a $75k vehicle.....(for the Yukon, at least...I KNOW the Cadillac was more! LOL)
Gyula Takacs “more reliable electronics”
The Navigator is a generation newer with an aluminum body, independent rear suspension and the turbo 6 engine. As a result, interior space and fuel economy are much better. And Lincoln knocked it out of the park with the interior. Navigator is a clear winner. And, judging by recent sales figures, buyers agree.
Escalade has the gear shifter since its birth and never changed. Keep up the good work. 😉
I'd like to put the Lincoln's interior into the Cadillac and it would perfect.
That escalade body has been out for 4 years. It will regain the crown in 2020 when the new design comes out
daniel bianchi and it did lol
@@joedif7215 but it's still not good.
Oh how this has aged
Nah Lincoln still holds the crown
Quite nice journalism👍👍
great video !
Lincoln is the best!
Both SUV's are great.
Made in USA 🇺🇸
With all parts imported from China
Usa car suck
I liked how quick the 3rd row folded and how quick the 2nd tow folded and than even folded up more on the Escalade..I also liked the 4tvs 2 headrest and 2 mounted..love that the Escalade is a V8!!! I also like the lil mini fridge I personally don’t keep lots of stuff/papers in my car so it’s not a biggy for me..we have 3 kids so this would be perfect for me and I say me because I drive the kids to school..to practice..gymnastics..ect ect plus it has lots of room for my shopping bags lol
Wow!!! These are spectacular cars!!! I want to have both of them🇺🇸😃💪
Lincoln looks more refined on the outside while the Escalate screams Look at me! Look at me! Driving both myself, the interior of the Lincoln is the best right now. Sames goes for all the electronics and the layout of the interior. I too love a V8 over a V6 but I felt the Lincoln was faster and the sound (while not the same as the V8) was lower and more growl then what one would expect from a turbo V6. I believe Cadi had a couple years R&D before they catch up.
I’m more of a Chevy guy but I would take the Lincoln for sure!
I have not ridden in a new Navigator, but just took a trip in a brand new Escalade and was shocked that road noise was excessive and ride was rough in comparison to a similar trip I made in a new Chrysler Pacifica Van. The Pacifica was silky smooth as well as whisper quiet. That van was so quiet that it seemed almost motionless at 80 MPH. I also rode in a new King Ranch 150 Ford that was smoother and quieter than the Escalade, but not as quiet or smooth as the Pacifica.
I like your review style
Yeah I’m sticking with the Cadillac Escalade esv
It sucks compared to the Navi lol
Lincoln interior absolutely Gorgeous 👌👌
But exterior they both look like hearses 😱😱😱
Good video!
I like your presentation!
The Navigator wins in every single way. The exterior and interior both look more modern and luxurious and when equipped properly it competes more with a Range Rover than an Escalade, which is a massive accomplishment for Lincoln. The Escalade was made in 2015 and the interior design and amenities of the vehicle just don't compare to what's considered a true luxury SUV in 2018.
Zay Springer But have you taken into consideration that the Escalade has more class in the exterior and interior, boasting a more aggressive but stylish design. The Escalade also offers more tech such as teen driver technology and magnetic steering control. The Escalade also has more legroom in the front passenger and drivers seats. The Escalade also has a better mpg and better performance like off-roading. The navigator does beat the Escalade in towing, but that’s the only thing the Navi actually wins in. The Escalade places higher in the suv class than the navigator does, ranked by cars.com usnews.com and caranddriver.com . Have you also taken into consideration that Lincoln and ford just had two recalls about their expedition, navigator, and f150. Here it is
www.autonews.com/article/20180406/OEM11/180409758/ford-recall-f-150-expedition-transmissions
The ford motor company is also one of the most unreliable companies to buy from considering that they have had the most recalls since the 90’s. The Escalade also places at the side of the navigator in crash testing, which both do very well in. The Escalade however does better on the rollover crash testing than the navigator does.
What is this guy talking about?
@@guppy2842 Actually, according to consumer reports, the Escalade has been the most unreliable SUV in its segment for many years.
JackStrait That is 100% false, the Cadillac is actually placed in 7th for the most reliable car brand to buy from by businessinsider.com
Whilst Ford isn’t even in the top 15. Btw this is a Dumb-Bitch Free Zone, you aren’t allowed here :)
That Cadillac interior is just plain awful. The colour of the leather is horrific and the infotainment system looks outdated...
_ryanjs_ outdated? Ya think...it’s a 6 year old design
_ryanjs_ Not to mention the Escalade literally has the same features as Suburbans and Denali’s and they’re a lot more expensive.
I love both cars they both looks perfect
To the reviewer, very well done sir. Very very well done.
Lincoln all the way on this one
I could buy 3 'decent' cars with $90,000 ...........
I agree
Or you could buy a Navigator and cruise in luxury, instead of "decent".
Or cruise as target of hijacking in these 'Luxury' vehicles .....
Or you can buy 2 “amazing” cars that won’t depreciate HARD in value over the years unlike these.
Kevin Avina that slow boat
Note the current generation Cadillac Escalade has been on the market for 4 almost 5 years. The Navigator was just recently redesigned. The exterior clearly goes to the Escalade and the interior goes to the Navigator. But a new Escalade is in the making to hopefully maintain the crown and the king of lavish 3 row SUVS
Well, Navigator is practically all new while the Escalade is on a several year old platform. It has been refreshed every other year, but they need a full redesign to really compete with a new Navi, especially the interior seats and tech.
The 5th gen Caddy looks to be a 2020 model, and the pic of it is rather sharp!
LINCOLN NAVIGATOR ❤❤❤
You look like a dwarf next to these suv's. I can't focus on the suv's. I went to look at the ford expedition and it is 63k which i am considering since it is cheaper. Parked next to the ford explorers the explorer looks like a CUV instead of a SUV.
At 6-feet tall, that's just how large they are. Crazy.
Tom Boyle short guy calling a guy short, is what your saying.....
Tom Boyle 😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tom Boyle heyy dont judge or your a dwarf your bullying bro didnt make any sense for you
The explorer is a CUV, because it is loosely based on the taurus platform instead of being truck based like these are therefore it is unibody and doesn't have a full frame.
Excellent review. What's my choice? The Navigator
Dude, I love your sneakers.
No third row comparison
That’s why my family decided to get the old Navigator...the third row space is way better than any GM product.
only because they didnt have a navigator L to compare with the escalade ESV or they would have done that.
And actually the navigator L seats are smaller than Escalade ESV in the 3rd row.
CNVQ that was a very invalid comment. Escalade seats are smaller and very uncomfortable. Navigator had independent rear suspension which allows them to have better foot space and not have your knees into your chest. Actually adults can fit in the navigator third row. Also the navigator is wider than the Escalade. The Escalade has a simple 60/40 split bench. And the bench is very flat.
Based on other reviews I've watched, I haven't experienced either car, the Lincoln accommodates adults on the third row. The lesson here is not to compare apples and oranges I guess
Navigator for me, besides the rear outside design
Good job I like it so much
I took my 2015 Explorer/Limited to the Ford/Lincoln dealership for routine service and I was looking forward to seeing and test driving the new Navigator but there weren't any on the lot. When I inquired as to why I was told that so many Escalade owners were trading in their Cadillacs for the new Navigator that Lincoln couldn't keep up with the production of the Navigator. I did see 5 Escalades in the used car lot also. After some research I also discovered that Cadillac was offering $5000 off of the Escalade for new buyers in an effort to entice previous Navigator owners to them. That new Lincoln is tough to beat!
