I am a guitarist and I was completely mesmerized by your playing. Thank you for bringing such perfection to my ears! Bravo. Your hard work, practice, and professionalism is much appreciated.
Outstanding. I wouldn't have thought it possible to guitar this piece without sacrificing much of its complexity. Organists use all of their fingers and their feet to both choose and execute each note (12 body parts making sound). A guitarist is generally limited to the fingers of one hand to choose notes while the fingers of the other hand execute them (only 5 body parts making sound). Yes, I'm aware of "hammering" to make notes/sound with the neck hand, which can be taken to the extreme as when playing a Chapman Stick, but generally guitar notes are chosen with one hand and played with the other. I was a musician for about 50 years, until arthritis stole it from me, this man amazed me. I was a cellist, a guitarist, and a half-assed pianist. Played classical with an orchestra and blues/rock with bands. I wasn't great, but I was pretty good, and have just enough knowledge to realize what an accomplishment this performance was. Watching his fingers (on both hands) is like watching a spider create an exceedingly complex web, and he did it with a calm ease that only seems possible with a less demanding piece.
I've been playing guitar for many many years, though I've just taken up classical guitar. This piece was astounding, and I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who thought of a spider when I watched his hands!
None of the best guitarists are even comparable to each other due to skills being so divergent, and that no one yet can possess them all. That being said, this artist is phenomenal.
If I could 'like' this video 1 Billion times - I would do it right now. Moran Wasser shows us here that classical guitar still have room for incredible legends - he should have much wider recognition - what he does here, is not possible for almost all other guitarists. No kidding, I played all my life. This is super human.
I have watched many arrangements for this piece on guitar now, but absolutely not a single one stands close to this supremely sublime piece of art. Just pure joy for my eyes and ears.
Never would have thought it possible to play this piece on a guitar. Must have taken months, years to perfect this. Incredible arrangement and musicianship. Thank you and bravo.
Unbelievable musicality beyond the technical prowess. It's hard to appreciate just how much work there is behind this. This transcription opens a whole new dimension to the piece, and it is truly marvellous to hear how the instrument is utilized to it's full expressive potential in it's own specificity. It's fair to say the composer would have loved to hear his music played like this. Sir you are one of the Greats.
This artist demonstrates the strange flexibilty that JSBach invites. It certainly brings out elements I didnt think about before. Much more than a transcription, its more that Bach left enough room for many instruments to shine. This certainly works for guitar. Thank you sir.
But why we even need any like Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, or any of those classical composers, today everyone is using their music, for base of their modern things, Heavy rock, pop even blues and such, Think about this one, Listen Synfonity, only electric quitars and basses, and it is suberb instrumental version in modern days instruments.
Bach Catalogue is so huge also because he used to transcribe his works (and sometimes also those of others composers) for as many instruments he could figure out... That helped as one potential "customer" or benefactor for his music might be an amateur musician of one instrument, and one of another... And Bach always struggled to gain enough money to grow his family... I would not be surprised if this adaption was, in fact, by Bach himself
Not being an organist, I wouldn't know, but I suspect you have to be an order of magnitude more skilled with a stringed instrument like a lute or the 11-string guitar above to pull this piece off. I praised the arrangement before, but now let me praise this performance also.
It's amazing that you are able to play that fugue brilliantly technically and at the same time absolutely incredible musically. It almost sounds like this composition was composed for guitar. Incredible work. ❤❤❤
Yep, probably one of the finest guitar performances ive watched in a very long time. Its hard to believe i can just be scolling and stumble upon such an incredible video. No words to tell you how good that was.
Incredible, I auditioned for college with Philliphii's rendition... This is so much more intricate and wonderful. I can't even comprehend what I'm seeing
How much work, class and effort went into this absolute masterpiece. Thanks Moran for keeping guitar and the grand masters alive once again. Please let us know how we can help you progress your craft and work...
The time it only takes to arrange Bach‘s masterpiece for an 11 string guitar must be tremendous. What a gift to humanity both this arrangement and recording is. Thank you, Moran 🙏🏻
Kudos.
The touch, control, skills, taste, execution, sheer mastery, I have never heard, and seen, a better performance ever, one artist, one instrument, beauty.
Sensational. Arrangement, execution, technique all outstandingly good. One of my favourite instrumentalists on any instrument. Why this man hasn’t got records out all over the world is a mystery. Bravo, Moran, and thank you.
The most & arguably only truly, convincing guitar version aided by a guitar with adequate range and a performer with superb musicianship & flawless technique. Ordinarily I'd be hesitant about keyboard arrangements played on guitar but the campanella fingering & arpeggios sound genuinely idiomatic. Fantastic.
This recording caught my attention and I had to listen through it all. Amazingly well played, it is as if the piece was written for guitar. Exceptional. Hope to be able to listen to this super human live some day.
the Mind articulates hands to manipulate strings to produce vibrations to please the mind... beautifully ordered, full of emotional content. What a lovely dance of causes and effects.
This is too beautiful. I admire your arrangement and technique. If we add my fondness for thick notes, you are an incredible person for me. Thank you for sharing your music with us. Quite inspiring ✨👏👏
Beautiful arrangement, impecable playing (to my ears at least) and a very good use of all the different sounds a good classical guitar player can get from its instrument. Thank you for letting me hear this !
Absolutely wonderful. The dedication it took to learn, let alone play this, is something to behold. Praise be, my friend. To you, and of course Bach, without whom human existence may have been meaningless, if not an outright mistake!
Exceptional moment ! I didnt think it was possible to play this Toccata on Guitar... And you did it, 😲 producing one of the best performance of classic guitar i have never heard.... Thanks a lot for this moment👍. Merci.
Bravo! On en redemande! Merci.
I didn't know until now that a thing like an 11-string acoustic guitar even existed. And then seeing it being played and listening to that rendition of this masterpiece totally blew my mind😮. Absolutely magnificent, outstanding performance. 👏🏼👍🏼
¡Sublime! ¡Bravo Moran! Te auguro más logros artísticos y reconocimiento.
I never imagined this piece could ever be transcribed for guitar. Amazing.
look for Marcin Patrzalek transcription and performance on guitar. You will be shocked
Which proves that the spirit of life and joy is still among us.
it's the first time I'm introduced to Moran Wasser's videos and it is my luckiest day in years!
Am listening with you Janek . Dave
This should have 12 million views not 12k. This is one of the best arrangements I have ever heard, and plated absolutely beautifully! Thank you!
And 14 million likes, not 1.4K!
Agree totally… thank you
Agreed! Fantastic 🎉

The ease... Sweet Jesus, the ease !!!
This is the best guitarist I've ever heard.
Yeah, me too. Remarkable.
This guy is impressive, but Raphael Rabello a bit drunk playing Desvairada is unbeatable.
Yeah this is honestly pretty insane. Been playing for over 20yr and this dude is about as peak as it gets. His right hand is god tier.
None of the best guitarists are even comparable to each other due to skills being so divergent, and that no one yet can possess them all. That being said, this artist is phenomenal.
Breathtaking! Bravo! I will spend the next few minutes picking my jaw up from off of the floor. Otherworldly beautiful.
Yes, smooth, light and clean...but still with gentle grace and beautiful feeling throughout.
I don't think I've ever seen & heard such perfect technique and feeling.

This man's playing was as relentless as the composition. We witnessed two liifetimes of accomplishment. Beautiful.
This guy, just like Gary Moore and Angus Young, these guys are all brilliant at what they do. All musicians, all different. I love all of it.
This artist demonstrates the strange flexibilty that JSBach invites. It certainly brings out elements I didnt think about before. Much more than a transcription, its more that Bach left enough room for many instruments to shine. This certainly works for guitar. Thank you sir.
Especially for this guitar ...
Words fail me. This is just incredible.
The world will never have someone like Bach again
could be
According to Arnold, he'll be Bach. 😎
That's right
But why we even need any like Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, or any of those classical composers, today everyone is using their music, for base of their modern things, Heavy rock, pop even blues and such, Think about this one, Listen Synfonity, only electric quitars and basses, and it is suberb instrumental version in modern days instruments.
Someone still composing classical music in this great word! The mankind still great and awesome...Trust me man, we are gorgeous! ❤
THIS is why I cruise UA-cam late at night!
Thank you UA-cam for recommending me this video. Magnificent piece of music. Simply beautiful.
This is one of the most beautiful renditions of this masterpiece I have ever heard - Bravo!
Js Bach himself would be in awe.
I'm sure he'd pick it apart (get it - pick it?) But seriously - no.
Wow. The arrangement is so perfect, it makes you think that is the instrument it should always have been played on.
absolutely my thoughts, the fingerings and style fall so naturally, it makes me think it was written for lute then transcribed for organ...
I think there's plenty of compositions written for the classical guitar/lute that were made by Bach.
@@daviddebroux4708there’s a few lute suites but there is some debate if Bach ever wrote for lute. (They may have been transcribed for lute)
Bach Catalogue is so huge also because he used to transcribe his works (and sometimes also those of others composers) for as many instruments he could figure out... Why is Moran Wasser not considered the greatest classical guitar player alive? He clearly is HIM.
It's amazing that you are able to play that fugue brilliantly technically and at the same time absolutely incredible musically. It almost sounds like this composition was composed for guitar. Incredible work. ❤❤❤
Bach would be proud and amazed by this transcription! 👋
Yep, probably one of the finest guitar performances ive watched in a very long time. Its hard to believe i can just be scolling and stumble upon such an incredible video. No words to tell you how good that was.
Amazing performance and arrangement.
When virtuosity meets endurance.
Incredible, I auditioned for college with Philliphii's rendition... This is so much more intricate and wonderful. I can't even comprehend what I'm seeing
It is so beautiful it seems the music was composed for guitar. Thank you m. Wasser for sharing such a wonderful performance.
Wow - Bach would be especially proud of this fantastic performance.
Those add'l low bass notes make this transcription very much the original.
Words fall short in describing this man's ability, but his technical prowess is up there with the likes of the greatest classical players.
How much work, class and effort went into this absolute masterpiece. Thanks Moran for keeping guitar and the grand masters alive once again. Please let us know how we can help you progress your craft and work...
I absolutely agree! Please, Moran, let us know how we can help. You are already a legend. The world needs to know!
The time it only takes to arrange Bach‘s masterpiece for an 11 string guitar must be tremendous. What a gift to humanity both this arrangement and recording is. Thank you, Moran 🙏🏻
This should have more views. Absolutely superb, next level genius.

In an exqusite echo from the future, this is what Bach heard in his dream.
Stunning performance. Thank you.
Outstanding - but you wouldn't expect anything else from Moran. The guy's a genius. The Master has returned.
Exquisitely rendered Bach piece!! Bravo!! 😊👍
Sensational. Arrangement, execution, technique all outstandingly good. One of my favourite instrumentalists on any instrument. Why this man hasn’t got records out all over the world is a mystery. Bravo, Moran, and thank you.

Truly amazing, mastering an eleven string guitar, immaculate adaptation of an organ (!) masterpiece…
Love and appreciation from Hungary!
This recording caught my attention and I had to listen through it all. Amazingly well played, it is as if the piece was written for guitar. Exceptional. Hope to be able to listen to this super human live some day.
Exactly, this sounds so 'at home' on the guitar.
Magic! One of my favorite pieces ever conceived! God bless Bach! Well done Sir!
the Mind articulates hands to manipulate strings to produce vibrations to please the mind... beautifully ordered, full of emotional content. What a lovely dance of causes and effects.
BWV 565 absolutely owned!
Moran, that;s the most remarkable playing I have heard. What talent!
Bravo!
Oh my God. Is it now 5:30 in the morning in England and I am absolutely transfixed. Thank you so much 🇬🇧
This is too beautiful. I admire your arrangement and technique. If we add my fondness for thick notes, you are an incredible person for me. Thank you for sharing your music with us. Quite inspiring ✨👏👏
Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Beside perfect technique - the character added - feels like dreaming.
What a lovely combination: awesome musician and superb instrument.
This fretboard really demonstrates the geometry in Bachs music.
1. I had to pause the video to check that the guitar really has 11 strings
2. Wow, just awesome
Beautiful arrangement, impecable playing (to my ears at least) and a very good use of all the different sounds a good classical guitar player can get from its instrument. Thank you for letting me hear this !

Just blown away……would love to meet this chap…..amazing
Besides the incredible playing, this really demonstrates the usefulness of all those bass strings.
With much admiration, greetings from Cape Town!🇿🇦
Sending an 👏 emoji because this video gave me arthritis and I can’t applaud
The greatest Bach. Not organ only.
Exceptional moment ! I didnt think it was possible to play this Toccata on Guitar... And you did it, 😲 producing one of the best performance of classic guitar i have never heard.... Thanks a lot for this moment👍. Merci.
Playing minor phrases in major phrases and vice versa, such a genious and crasy idea!
Fantastic reproduction of a difficult piece written for organ
Never heard anything like that. ❤️🙏
That might be the greatest guitar work I have ever seen or heard
Absolutely amazing … I did not know that a ten stringed classical guitar existed.
Beautiful, straight to the heart. A lot of hard work to get the skills. Masterpiece! Thank you 💐🏆❤️
fantastic. congratulations for this project: player, guitar, music, and magistral play execution
Absolutely superb playing. 6 strings are difficult enough. This is on a totally different level of difficulty. Played beautifully.
Lord Wasser, king of 11 string guitar!
So clean like a piano. Absolutly uniqueness and beautiful!
Beautifully transcribed and well played. Pleasure to listen too. And by memory. Hard enough on a 6 string, let alone an 11 string! Bravo, magnifico.
He is so graceful and makes playing look effortless!
Bravo! On en redemande! Merci.

The best guitar version
This brought me great Joy and big dose of Humility, and shout out to the depths of the human spirit. Thank you!
I can't say anything anymore than most anyone else has said. You have a God given talent and a drive for perfection that few share. Magnificent!
Just found this. Incredible and such a talented and versatile guitarist. Superb in every way.
My favourite piece of organ music, played on my favourite instrument. truly beautiful.
Mr.Wasser that was extraordinary !!!
A wonderful superb performance 👏👏👏
¡Sublime! ¡Bravo Moran! Te auguro más logros artísticos y reconocimiento.
