- After traveling to Manila, the capital of The Philippines, back in 2018, my next highly anticipated trip to the second largest city has just happened.
Welcome to Cebu City (Central Visayas), founded by the Spanish back in the 16th century! I spent 2 days exploring this bustling city full of American and Spanish heritage.
Apart from Magellan’s Cross, Santo Niño Basilica, and Fort San Pedro, the city has a lot of details to observe! Many of them are definitely overlooked by tourists, who head directly to the beach resorts.
Join me for this epic walk around the town, where I had a fun jeepney ride with locals, tried lechon for the first time, and admired every detail from its long colonial past.
