It’s only dying for those who do not follow the changes in the field and update or upgrade their skill set. Learning to do home sleep testing, scoring, and performing advanced titrations are some of the things that should be under your belt. In fact, within the last year, many labs in Southern California had difficulties hiring sleep techs. I can name you labs right now that are looking. So, it’s a sign that it’s not dying, but changing.
