I don’t think you know how fast food chains work. Most of them probably 95% are owned by franchisees not corporations. Corporations get there 7-8% commission. So the burden of paying the workers goes to the franchisee. First do your homework on how fast food chains work. I own 3, corporations don’t help with anything.

Gavin buddy. You didn't reward them anything. The money didn't come out of your pocket. The duty of companies is to share holder not employees. They will cut every corner and do anything to make sure the share holders are happy. Increasing minimum wage cuts into their profits, this makes share holders unhappy. The results will be predictable.
Next time just cut taxes on people earning less than x amount. That will make a huge difference. It's not about pay, it's about disposable income.

The problem is that in n out a large food chain has been paying their employees well above 20hr and their prices haven’t been affected too much. McDonald’s on the other hand still sources their nuggets for 10-15cents a piece but continues to raise the prices. The wages are not the problem. Companies raise their prices not out of necessity they raise them because they can and nobody is going to stop them.
