I’m amazed at the varied combos he can pull off. F’example today I kept a chump minion alive for three turns simply because I was using it to feed Berserker Frenzy.
Similar to Captain America I definitely think he is a hero who excels in solo and I feel that he feels a lot stronger than his overall ranking including MP. In MP, he is still really strong but definitely not DS level. I also think Wolverine P is his best but I went a different route with Hard Knocks, Tackle, and defensive allies like Polaris and Multiple Man so I didn't really take villain attacks to face at all,
Thats a really good point, excellent solo and good multiplayer. Strange just holds that power through all player counts haha I love the idea of that protection build! I’ll have to try that out!
5:54 "Symbiote Suit isn't a card that I put into everyone of my decks." Me: Sure, sure Nelson. Whatever you say buddy. Nelson and Symbiote Suit sitting in a tree. . ."
Hey, Nelson. I have this hero pack on the way! I’ll throw this out there… Please showcase Basic ally- Longshot. I’m intrigued. 4 cost allies are expensive, but cheap ones aren’t always used for quality and potential. Don’t get me wrong, they’re great, but I like having a 3 or 4 cost ally in play when I can. MC players have to look at the value and what you get from them. LONGSHOT!!!
My Wolverine aggression build is a bit slower than normal, but his basic attack can do 9 almost every turn. It uses Fluid Motion x3 God slayer Combat training His upgrade to increase his damage and health
Klaw expert with Masters of Evil is very difficult in my opinion. Standard is difficult enough, even, but we must progress. Haha! His minions have such high hp and guards galore!!!
I'd have to disagree with you on comparing Strange and Wolverine because Strange's power isn't just I'm stun and confusion, he has card draw, treachery negation, tough generation and status card manipulation that still make him solidly the most powerful hero in Champions. And rightly so. In the comics Strange is one of the most powerful beings in all of Marvel Comics. In essence he has the greatest array of tools and power to turn any situation in favor of the heroes.
That’s fair, and while wolverine doesn’t have that he does have speed that Strange doesn’t have (in solo) so many of Logan’s games can be over in 2-3 turns which just makes him so powerful. It’s also just hard to judge because Strange has been tested for a long time now where we just don’t have that data with Wolverine yet!
@@NelsonAllOverCards I don't disagree that he can end a game quicker on a average, I just don't think that equates him to being "the most powerful." That term is a subjective and loaded one. I measure a hero's power by how many varied, purely mechanic breaking tools they have at their disposal. Wolverine has really only one, while Strange has many, especially when you're adding spell cards. And even if Strange is going against some one with stalwart, his two invocation cards that remove threat and deal damage have other built in advantages: neither count as an attack or thwart. So, he always has a way to bypass guard or patrol. So again, still value in those cards...even against someone with Stalwart. Or even bypass his own stun and confused statuses with those.
It gives the first player an extra encounter card. It functions just like a hazard icon on a side scheme. So if there are two suits out (or one suit and one side scheme with the hazard) then the first and second player would both get an extra encounter card. Hope that makes sense!
Do you think Wolverine is the strongest Marvel Champions hero?
Love Wolverine, I use a Protection build to play with my kids, so I take care of scary things on the table while they have fun 😂
Love this!
Thanks for the video and insight into Wolverine. I've got the deck on order so looking forward to getting it on the table 😊
Nice!! He’s so much fun! Hope you enjoy!

It is pretty crazy how many directions he can be pulled in!

Wolverine is definitely a lot of fun
So true!

Ohhhhh this sounds so epic!
Used Wolverine in Protection against Standard Klaw, and beat him in about 25 minutes. Yeah I hate Klaw so much, and it felt good slapping him around
Yessss! How epic!

Rulings on symbiote suite. Does it only give you a extra encounter card in multiplayer or everyone?

Wait, can berserker barrage be triggered multiple times? Like it doesn't just max out at 2 targets per card usage?
"I just got done playing 4 games with Scarlet Witch" - apparently she bewitched you good ;)
She did! Chaos!
