I gotta be honest the first pack I am not to excited about I really wonder why they went for another black Panther deck in the agents of shield area. Coulson Quake Ghost Rider Mockingbird Agent Carter So many options but why do shuri she seems like a better tchalla maybe but I don't get it.

Maybe way off here, but sheild being involved with global threats in multiple countries, maybe the heroes in this cycle represent each country, 1. Shuri-Wakanda, Africa 2. Falcon (cap) -USA 3. Winter soldier - Russia. 4. ?? - ?? Could help guess the last hero. Love the video. Im stupid excited for Nick Fury... andnow shuri im all in for this cycle

I think the remaining Shuri upgrades may be one that heals (or moves a damage from Shuri to an enemy) and one that draws a card. The first would probably be discard for a tough, not sure for the second. There is a surprisingly low number of Tech cards that aren't ally upgrades, so she is really incentivized to go Protection. Repurpose and What Doesn't Kill Me are both excellent for her w/o any further cards needed, but Forcefield Generator is definitely very tempting.

I counted the cards and it seems: - her attack and thwart events are 2-off each - there is unrevealed event, 1 in deck - there are 4 unknown upgrade/support cards - 2 of those are the other 2 BP upgrades I think it is possible to have upgrade with deal 2 damage, as she has only 1 attack For me the main question in terms of expected power level is, is she going to have arc reactor/cape upgrade (one that allows to ready hero), if yes, she is probably very strong, if not, she ok I guess, she seems to be faster than T'Chala, but possibly bit weaker (unless she can ready by upgrade) When I saw Invisibility Gear I thought about Psylocke, basically a hero that can confuse with every other event can use IG to turn confuse into stun, I don't think it can be main plan, but seems like something worth trying to me

I just realized, there are a LOT of heroes that have a 2-cost attack event that does 4 damage and the hero's gimmick and a 2-cost thwart event that removes 3 threat and does the hero's gimmick! Maybe it's a formula that they've found works.

Heart of the Panther question: neither Panther's upgrades exhaust, and it doesn't say to resolve 4 'different' upgrades - does that mean you can resolve the same upgrade 4 times? This makes its function slightly different to Wakanda Forever for T'Challa, no?

That team up is another (more expensive) Wakanda Forever card to original BP.

So excited for Shuri! Love the look of what’s going on here.I love that she looks to be able to be so flexible with extra damage or thwart for every basic activation. A little reminiscent of Gamora in a way. She’ll be pretty affected by exhaustion and status effects, but also getting some extra zing out of readies. Looks so fun!

5:36 If we get Eddie Brock as a hero it will probably be Anti Venom instead of Venom... Maybe a three sided card of Venom and Anti Venom would be cool.

Sorry to have to tell you this but you lost at 40:14 because when you thwarted "Welcome to Murder World" at 17:45 you never took the 2 damage from its "When Defeated" effect, so your health should have been at 2 when you took that 3 damage. Don't you have the "When Defeated" tokens from BTST Nelson, shame on you. lol! But the deck seemed to be functionally nicely and looked like it was fun to play, still enjoyed the video.

So, I'm going to ask a really dumb question. But I literally just ordered every single hero pack. Am I still going to be missing cards? Like, are there cards that are only available in the expansions? I found every hero I didn't have on sale between several different sites, and I just went for it. But can't really afford to buy all the expansions now. hahaha. I do have sinister motives, red skull, and GMW, so I feel like I have a large enough card pool, but I so badly want to build decks that will be able to get the job done with the Heroes I actually like.

Okay, I gotta share this one: Vision Justice and Rocket Aggression-Overkill (vs Green Goblin Mutagen Formula, but that doesn't matter). La dee dah. Both were playing along just fine. Nothing special. Vision's great as usual. Both were getting built out and managing some board control, handling minions. GG had some minions out. Then --OH NO! Vision drew Shadows of the Past! Augh! And Vision's nemesis is Ultron. Oh no! And Ultron spews five 1/1 drones into play. Oh no! >ahem< {{{Villains beware: never throw 1/1 minions in front of Rocket.}}} This was Rocket's dream scenario. He cleared the board, adding 30 overkill damage in one round. He just kept drawing cards and readying weapons. At the end, Rocket was still looking around the board for more minions, as if they were like a shooting gallery carnival game to win the big prize. Talk about full auto. I never imagined a hero's nemesis from Shadows of the Past would create an ultimate synergy, but there it is...

46:34 Hawkeye doesnt really have powers but in the comics they flirted with the idea that he had powers. His eyesight was considered a power I think which made up for the fact that he's deaf or something like that.

Once I have started playing a scenario, is it too late to play with another person? If I take my sets with me somewhere and meet someone are we able to start playing together?

One of my absolute favorite decks is a 50 card Star Lord deck that includes GOTG and something like 18 ally upgrades. Also includes Iron Man and Yondu. It's incredibly fun loading Tony up with upgrades for free and still getting a card back to offset the card you spent.

Agreed, it is the worst of the Team cards. I play around with it in a deck build every few months, and then that deck never ends up hitting the table lol! I've tried to get the card to work a few times, and it's just so inconsistent. In 5 games, two will be pretty cool, two will flop and one will be alright. I did one with Fantomex and Yondu, and the number of times I'd have almost all my upgrades out before I had even played Guardians was very irking. I don't believe I've used it since player-side schemes have been released, so maybe I'll want to revisit at some point. I keep messing around with one using X-men with Star-Lord where another player plays honorary X-men on me so I can hit Utopia and Knowhere, but it takes so many cards to get going. I don't mind going over 40, but these voltron decks are always pushing 50, which makes me think the consistency will drop more in a deck that already is relatively inconsistent.

No Clarity of Purpose adding that to Venom would give you enough resources to play all those upgrades. :)

Having Honorary Guardians on Venom, (as discussed at 26:00) allows you to play Knowhere on Venom in Alter-Ego which can be super-helpful if things go pear shape. (E.g. an obligation/ treachery card makes you exhaust in alter-ego, using Knowhere can make you then heal, or you can double heal with Knowhere.

I like it. The GoG team card is the weakest of the team cards so doesn't get a lot of play (though it may be better if they were all at this power level). So its nice to see you playing around with it. I also agree that some more zero cost upgrades would really make it pop. My only concern is the way that Laser Blaster and Sidearm interact with Venom's Setup ability, as they will trigger it delaying him from getting his own guns. That said, not discarding half your deck to start the game will be beneficial with a combo deck like this. I await patiently for a playthrough!

I really like this card. I've only built one deck around it, but I was impressed by the card draw I got with while also powering up those allies. I used it for Star-Lord so that every one of my characters was automatically a Guardian. I included Build Support to make it easier to get Guardians of the Galaxy in play (or Helicarrier or Knowhere, whichever I still needed).

Slightly off topic, I would like to see you with VT ranking Campaign Bonus systems. Like Galaxy's Most wanted Market mechanics, or Rise of the Red Skull upgrade campaign system and etc...

I love that you're considering multiplayer. This type of card really shines in a multiplayer setting. Especially since any blue player can include the card in their deck and use it on another player. I had a super fun and effective game with Blue Iron Man and Yellow Starlord using only X-Men allies. Iron Man quickly played Guardian on Starlord (and himself after honorary), who then only needed to use Mutant Training on his mutant/guardian allies (not to mention Leader of the Guardians for even more thwart). And Starlord gave Honorary Guardian to Iron Man, allowing him to play guardian allies and equip them with Laser Blaster or Comms Implant (and reinforced suit), which are cheap upgrades to boost Iron Man’s hand size. As soon as anyone at the table is playing a blue character, we try to add the team card to their deck because it can help be delt to another player and has no restrictions. More multiplayer content, please!!! Keep up the good work.
