I am on the hunt for the best product too, prefer an all in one and going to try the one she suggests. I have been looking at some pricey ones, but rather find a drug store one that works. It does get pricey and the products pile up. I also have fine curly/wavy hair.
If you ourchase from Walgreens, Sephora, Amazon (and more) you can return the product if you don’t like it. I just have to be on purpose with remembering!

I keep coming back because you are amazing!! I liked the gel hairspray so much I decided to try the Garnier Fructis Curl Sculpt. I cannot believe how well that worked, too!! And, I paid less than $5 for 5.1 fl.oz. I find that anything more than a moisturizing shampoo makes my hair too limp, so I don’t use a separate moisturizer. I use TreSemme mousse that is supposed to be for curls, then I used the Garnier and the gel hairspray. I think my hair looks even better on Day 2! Oh, and I do think some scrunching helps. Thank you so much. I’ve watched a lot of these “Curly Girl” videos, and I’ve had mixed results. Most are way too complicated. You’ve kept things easy, and your recommendations work!! This video randomly popped in my feed and glad it did! My hair texture and type has changed since menopause..It is now more fine and has a lot of wave! The humidity in my area in Summer makes it frizzy as heck.. Not been able to tame it, even with flat iron ing is that the Fall is here, its wave is looking nicer and I have just been air drying..I want to try your method, I am sure it will help!!

hi there, first time watching you. Your hair is much like mine; I only have a little less. I am losing hair on my head. eek ( I am 60 years old). I love and use Garnier too. I am definitely going to try the aerogel. I usually let my hair air dry because of time crunch. But definitely, before I get to where I'm going I scrunch scrunch scrunch. I rock my curls as long as possible too, usually can go 3-4 days. Really enjoyed this video. Confirms that I am doing something right.

Your hair looks fabulous! Thanks for the tips! My hair is a good bit curlier than yours, and I have recently started using a Bounce brush. Actually, its a less expensive version. But it works so well with my hair, and it's so much easier to style. It has really changed my life!
I too break the rules. Someone posted, “oh no😮don’t put water 💦 in your hair or wet it to refresh, it damages it really bad 😮”. I’ve been doing it for over 50 yrs 😂.
Funny but cool trick: I take a wet washcloth and scrunch water back into my hair to refresh it, wetting the cloth every couple minutes. Then I use an old ratty silk scarf and sortof squish/ scrunch that water back out. My curls usually look great for like 3 more days!
Oh my gosh, STUNNING results!!! I have been trying for quite some time now to figure out what products work best for my curls, and the garnier one is something I haven't tried yet. Gonna give it a go! And also, you are the sole reason I tried the aerogel hairspray and it is a game changer!!! My favorite by far :) The hold and styling effect it gives is unbelievable!

I use this product and I don't even have curly hair. I love the scent and the fact that it doesn't weigh my hair down while making it soft and conditioned. The price is great too.

Hi! I do have naturally curly hair. Some products make my hair curlier and some make it looser. Perms are still awesome with this one caveat… only perm hair that does not have permanent color. You can use a semi permanent color with a perm but nothing any stronger than that. It’s truly the reason perms are in the decline. EVERYONE colors their hair! 🥰🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️

Does hair color affect the natural curl? However, when I have gotten a short & layered haircut in the past, my hair would curl up naturally after a shower & look like I had a curly perm. Hi! Hair color does affect your curl. Bleach can take the curl out completely. It’s crazy. Try my techniques, because if your hair is curly short, then it should still be curly long. Even if it’s wavy.
My hair was dry and frizzy and got it cut off last time I got it colored a couple of weeks ago. Wish it was longer agsin. Still I want to try the treatment. Your hair is amazing! Thanks for the video.

Your hair is absolutely gorgeous! This is my first time here. My consolation prize when I became "a woman of a certain age" was curly hair! I'd always wanted curly..or at least curlier hair! Some days it's great other days, not so much. I won't bore you with the details of my particular curls but I will say that though I have a lot of hair, it's very fine. I just ordered root volume clips for curly hair as well as a buff for night time. I've been using silk pillow cases but just not doing enough. Clearly you have a fabulous cut and that is absolutely crucial with curly hair don't you think? My hair is fine enough, though, I can blow it out without much problem. The problem is LATER when humidity and perspiration hit it. That's why I'm trying to figure out how to just let it be curly and look the best it can. I"ll be checking out your other videos and seeing what else I can learn! I've tried several Garner products but not the creme gel. I will now! Thank you.
I'll pick up some of the gel tomorrow. Its so nice to someone flip over and scrunch. Most hair dressers pinch and pat....just doesn't bounce it up at all.
You are precious and so is this video, but would you consider not having background music during the instruction parts? Thanks for showing Day 2 because I can get my curls looking good but by the end of the day, they have drooped and turned into a mess.
Thank you for the suggestion, I think that’s a great idea. And some products just don’t hold up well for day too. For me, mousse is only good on day one.
Thank you! The answer to this is it depends. It depends on what kind of look you’re going for. I suggest you find pictures of hair that you like and show that to your hairstylist and let her figure out what you need. She should be able to figure it out from the picture. A picture is always worth 1000 words!

My hair is salt-n-pepper, fine but I have a lot of it, went from pretty straight to very wavy after having severe covid, and losing 50%. Now I have been growing out long (past my shoulders and not been this long in 30 yrs.! So Always Interested in great products that don't break the bank (high priced ones not ever better. So I just got the Garnier Curl Sculpt, and Aerogel Spray (which I had never heard of) So many great reviews of it on Amazon. So, THANK YOU so much for your great videos and advice!!!! Hi! I do not think it will weigh your hair down. I would use this on a client with fine hair. If you buy it from Walgreens and keep the receipt, you have 30 days to return it. It is absolutely worth the try. And let me know how it does!
You are so lucky you have thick, curly, healthy hair. I have thyroid issues, genetics and pre- menopause...ugh!! Thin, wavy hair. When I was younger, my mane was my pride and joy. It still looks good, but wish it was so much better.

I have fine, low density, low porosity, 2a-2c waves and tried this gel yesterday as a single styler. Worst hair day I’ve ever had. I had no waves, my hair was stringy and felt awful. Going to rewash it today. Probably a better gel for people with more defined curls that aren’t easily weighed down 👍

Have you tried Tribal Chimp? My hair is baby fine and thin and I sprinkle some on my roots on the top of my head. I then rub it in and it gives my lifeless hair some life and fluff.
I got lots of good tips from you in this video. I would like to see a curly hair video with less product use. I am one of those less can be more girls. I did enjoy your demo of different products!
My hair is porous so I have to use a lot of product for the best results. I like to encourage everyone to do what works best for them. If I use less products I will have frizz.
I actually put the curl sculpt into my hair while I'm in my shower, as a last step. I then use my denman, get a couple of good curl families going. Plop it on top of my head. Use a microfiber towel to let it set for a few minutes like that while I put on my makeup. Then I let it down, shake it out and let it air dry. Perfect every time. Sometimes I add a little Paul Mitchell twirl around after it dries depending on how humid it is outside. Those are my two holy grails.

This is the gel I use for every wash day. I love it!! I use the Garnier Sleek n Shine shampoo and conditioner and also the leave in conditioner. Then I use Verb foaming gel and the Garnier gel to style and omg the curls I get!!! Love it love it love it.

My hair turned curly after it went silver. It's frizzy, and the curls aren't all curly. I'm going to try this to see if it works on my hair. Thank you so much for showing this. I'm used to my hair being straight as a board, so the curly is not my friend right now. Thank you again.
Yes that would be a shock! Even a lot of curly girls, myself included, had to accept the fact that we had curly hair. Now I love it.
First time viewer! Do you have Naturally Curly hair? Also, What is your opinions on Curly perms for longer hair? Do they still do “Spiral Perms?”
Hi! I do have naturally curly hair. Some products make my hair curlier and some make it looser.
Perms are still awesome with this one caveat… only perm hair that does not have permanent color. You can use a semi permanent color with a perm but nothing any stronger than that.
It’s truly the reason perms are in the decline. EVERYONE colors their hair! 🥰🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️

Hi! Hair color does affect your curl. Bleach can take the curl out completely. It’s crazy. Try my techniques, because if your hair is curly short, then it should still be curly long. Even if it’s wavy.
My hair was dry and frizzy and got it cut off last time I got it colored a couple of weeks ago. Wish it was longer agsin. Still I want to try the treatment. Your hair is amazing! Thanks for the video.

Your hair is absolutely gorgeous! This is my first time here. My consolation prize when I became "a woman of a certain age" was curly hair! I'd always wanted curly..or at least curlier hair! Some days it's great other days, not so much. I won't bore you with the details of my particular curls but I will say that though I have a lot of hair, it's very fine. I just ordered root volume clips for curly hair as well as a buff for night time. I've been using silk pillow cases but just not doing enough. Clearly you have a fabulous cut and that is absolutely crucial with curly hair don't you think? My hair is fine enough, though, I can blow it out without much problem. The problem is LATER when humidity and perspiration hit it. That's why I'm trying to figure out how to just let it be curly and look the best it can. I"ll be checking out your other videos and seeing what else I can learn! I've tried several Garner products but not the creme gel. I will now! Thank you.

You are precious and so is this video, but would you consider not having background music during the instruction parts? Thanks for showing Day 2 because I can get my curls looking good but by the end of the day, they have drooped and turned into a mess.

Thank you! The answer to this is it depends. It depends on what kind of look you’re going for. I suggest you find pictures of hair that you like and show that to your hairstylist and let her figure out what you need. She should be able to figure it out from the picture. A picture is always worth 1000 words!
Hi Lenora, I just came across your videos in the last few days, and just love them and you! Love how real you are...... My hair is salt-n-pepper, fine but I have a lot of it, went from pretty straight to very wavy after having severe covid, and losing 50%.
Now I have been growing out long (past my shoulders and not been this long in 30 yrs.! So Always Interested in great products that don't break the bank (high priced ones not ever better. So I just got the Garnier Curl Sculpt, and Aerogel Spray (which I had never heard of) So many great reviews of it on Amazon. So, THANK YOU so much for your great videos and advice!!!! Can't wait to try both on my Waves!!

Hi! I do not think it will weigh your hair down. I would use this on a client with fine hair. If you buy it from Walgreens and keep the receipt, you have 30 days to return it. It is absolutely worth the try. And let me know how it does!

You are so lucky you have thick, curly, healthy hair. I have thyroid issues, genetics and pre- menopause...ugh!! Thin, wavy hair. When I was younger, my mane was my pride and joy. It still looks good, but wish it was so much better.

I have fine, low density, low porosity, 2a-2c waves and tried this gel yesterday as a single styler. Worst hair day I’ve ever had. I had no waves, my hair was stringy and felt awful. Going to rewash it today. Probably a better gel for people with more defined curls that aren’t easily weighed down 👍
Was your hair wet enough? Did you scrunch the entire time while diffusing? I have never had any issues with this gel on me or my clients.

I want you to know that I subscribed. Your hair is exactly like mine. It's naturally wavy, and it is porous; it's also about the same length. (My hair used to be really thick, and I miss the thickness! 😒) However, my hair does get fairly curly like yours for wavy hair, but it could be a little more curly, and so I'm gonna try every single thing you suggested!

Have you tried Tribal Chimp? My hair is baby fine and thin and I sprinkle some on my roots on the top of my head. I then rub it in and it gives my lifeless hair some life and fluff.

I got lots of good tips from you in this video. I would like to see a curly hair video with less product use. I am one of those less can be more girls. I did enjoy your demo of different products!
My hair is porous so I have to use a lot of product for the best results. I like to encourage everyone to do what works best for them. If I use less products I will have frizz.
I actually put the curl sculpt into my hair while I'm in my shower, as a last step. I then use my denman, get a couple of good curl families going. Plop it on top of my head. Use a microfiber towel to let it set for a few minutes like that while I put on my makeup. Then I let it down, shake it out and let it air dry. Perfect every time. Sometimes I add a little Paul Mitchell twirl around after it dries depending on how humid it is outside. Those are my two holy grails.

This is the gel I use for every wash day. I love it!! I use the Garnier Sleek n Shine shampoo and conditioner and also the leave in conditioner. Then I use Verb foaming gel and the Garnier gel to style and omg the curls I get!!! Love it love it love it.
