You both have beautiful curly hair. I have very straight hair. I used to perm my hair in High School. I think we always want what we don't have. I started keeping my hair straight in my 30's after damaging my hair with all the perming chemicals. I have never permed it again. She did a great job! I have never tried using a curling iron to fix my curls that are frizzy or aren’t as curly. I watched her closely to see how she used the curling iron by just quickly wrapping her hair around it. Definitely going to try it when I need to make my hair look more polished.

This was a great video! I LOVED seeing Mother & Daughter in the end standing together, it actually brought a tear to my eye lol. I wish so MUCH i had had a daughter, SO BAD! My mom & I were very close, like 2 peas in a pod....shes been in heaven for 20 years now. I do have 1 WONDERFUL son though who is the " apple of my green eyes" lol. Its just that when your son marries, you do lose him to his wife snd family. A daughter, seems to always NEED her mom and you hsve her forever even after she marries & has children. So Renee, Im happy for you, but jealous~~ you have no sons but 2 beautuful loving, smart daughters!!!! So cute to see Kendall do her thing, dang, she did great!!! A natural like her mom!! ❤

I don’t think very many people realize that you don’t have to wash your hair every single day. It actually looks better when you skip a day or two. Very Nice❤

when it comes to styling my curls I swear by Curlvana Curl-Defining Styling Gel , works really well to style the curls and gives a nice definition. my curls feel well hydrated too. your video is super helpful and love both of you

I just LOVE the curls you three beautiful women have!! I would be in 7th heaven to have even half the amount you have. My hair is straight and fine, however I’ve just been brave enough to have a body wave and the difference is amazing, I use my diffuser after shampooing then sprinkle styling powder through, then fluff it up with my fingers to get height and volume. I’m really enjoying watching how you style your hair. Thankyou. ❤️

Thank you so much for this video. I have naturally curly/wavy hair and as you all know it's a daily fight to keep frizz down and curls defined. And oh my gosh...yes the hair drying part is soooooo long...Lol! I keep experimenting on how wet to keep my hair and how much and when to use the dryer all to lessen my dryer time (I am disabled and most days it's really hard for me to stand with head upside down or hold my arms up for the dryer segment of my hair care). But you are so right that if you do the high maintenance on the shower day the style will stay intact for about four days. And I know it doesn't need to be said but you all have gorgeous curls. I have very slight "texture". I use mousse on my hair and a tiny bit of gel. Used to use heavy creams (just a coin size spread through palms & applied), but that *still* weighed my hair down, it all changed when I re-discovered my 90s mousse bottles! It's so nice to see someone come back from fragrance-free all natural; I went there too without any luck. I have to use all the sulfates, all the silicones, all the "bad stuff". LOL
Thanks Renee and Kendel! It's always good to see other products and techniques for dealing with curls. Still think this is above my skill level, though. Generally, if it involves touching in any capacity, it's above my skill level (for both hair and make-up).

I also use my wet brush to brush hair when wet after shampoo. as easier to brush as I have curl and is more gentle in hair that to brush out AFTER shampoos

That's me too. Fine straight hair. Even when I get it cut and it's blown dry it looks good for about an hour than it just drops. Sigh.

You don't have to be black to have those curls. I'm Caucasian 100% and daughter and I are both "curlies".
Had my dna tested. I’m European and Italian. My whole family is curly.
