A meal-tracking app that is available on both iPhone and Android.
Unlike other apps that only help you log food, Carbon Diet Coach determines the best calorie and macronutrient targets to reach your body composition goals and then continues to adjust these targets on a weekly basis so you don’t hit a plateau.

I really miss the days when UA-cam had more videos like this. Specifically, videos that are informative and useful, and that get directly to the point. Ever since YT changed their algo to boost videos in the preferred length of 17-20 minutes, almost every content creator started clumsily padding their videos with mind numbing useless filler. So glad this video doesn’t follow that trend.
As a result, this is the best review of the Carbon diet app I’ve seen. Thanks!
Aww, thanks Wes. The channel is still really small and hearing this feedback is so motivating. I'm hoping to do some app comparisons with Carbon soon!
I agree completely.
Thank you.
But does it have a label scanner option? Or a way to enter macros manually? how is it any different to the dozens of apps we already had, some for well over a decade now that is using the USDA food and nutrition database?
Yes, it has all of that. I think the real value is in the precision of the calorie/macronutrient recommendations and how it updates them during your "check-in". You should read my full experience here: feastgood.com/carbon-diet-coach-review/
Where is the info to save money on the purchase, don't see it on the linked blog post
Right now there aren't any special offers or sales with Carbon Diet Coach. I try and keep the description box up to date with that information, but there isn't anything special with pricing outside the normal pricing.
I I was thinking of using carbon black. I use fat secret, but although i set weekly average calorie goal vs. daily which it sounds like carbon black is doing. I enjoy biolaynes channel, he has alot of common sense.
If I had to pick between the two, Carbon is far superior. If you want a few more details on weekly vs daily calorie goals, etc., check out the article: feastgood.com/carbon-diet-coach-review/
Hi! does you actually get a coach? Will they teach you how to count macros as a beginner?
You DO NOT get a coach on Carbon Diet Coach. If you're new to macro tracking, I recommend starting with our guide (feastgood.com/how-to-track-macros/), which will explain how you can use a macro tracking app most effectively. If you have any questions, drop them here and I'll answer them.
I would love to see a video comparing Carbon Diet Coach to Macrofactor. I am so torn between these two apps.
Funny you say that, I'm actually working on that exact article right now. I'll record a video on it as well. But when the article is completed, I'll post it here.
If you want my final conclusion though, MacroFactor is the better option. Not sure if you've seen this video yet: ua-cam.com/video/qSayi6Dt3To/v-deo.html
I like the coaching elements on Carbon more, but the scanner/tracker is so slow and clunky
Can you do stronger u?
Just left you a comment on the other video.
