DA40 owner here. Why do you use both taxi light and landing light? I know at night landing light is ahead and longer while taxi shines to right and closer to nose? Just wondering….

Hi Chris, no scientific reason, just feel like whenever I enter a control zone, the more lights on my plane the better…..anything that makes me more visible to other traffic is a good thing….perhaps a little overkill, but “chicken soup…..can’t hurt….might help”…. :) EYZ
