Rng goes crazy, spend 5 hours grinding 099s, got 10 opened them got nothing. Woke up next day and opened my first 1 and got it. Then got all the other parts like 2 hours after. But hey guess what, 38% valby drop didn't drop for a full 10 hours of farming. Rng.....

The reason python is good for gley is the firing rate for massacre build, not the effect it gives, python is also good for freyna that is her bossing weapon since she rely on her ult to do dmg, some descendants dont use the weapon effects like for example freyna ult it uses the gun firing rate and more ammo mods but the dmg is base on your skill power
As far as fire rate goes the python isn't really that fast.... the blue blood bloomer has base 999 fire rate. Personally for the massacre ability, I use the BBB with the ramping fire rate mod and it sounds like an A-10 when fully charged auto.
Of course, fire rate at the moment is tied to your frame rate. For smgs, if you don't have at least 120 fps (if im remembering the cutoff correctly), then you don't even have the full fire rate as listed.

@davidhockstad983 so this is a good learning opportunity for me, is it only when you have the gun IN HAND that the effect activates or is it just off of being equipped? I have been using a wave if light mounting reactor (ez to guaruntee crits for blood and iron) and swapping to blue blood bloomer for massacre. Am I somehow now getting only 100% skill power from that? This confuses me because so many skills put all weapons away to use them. So is it basing the skill power bonus off the last weapon in hand? This doesn't seem intuitive, and I haven't noticed any difference in my skill damage from my python set to my blue blood bloomer/wave of light set, I just end up with a tad bit more fire rate. Genuinely curious bc if I'm missing a gap of 60% skill power and not even seeing the damage difference I definitely need my eyes checked
pyth also has 2x weak point dmg, so much better than blue blood in term of dmg
yeah ngl i thought python was gonna be cracked when i was farming the parts, after i unlocked it and started upgrading it I realized it's a very niche weapon that burns through ammo
It's very easy to tell what the weapon was going to be used for by it's perk and it's for bossing

@@Keyshawn13 ye but at over 900rpm u cant sustain ur ammo... that is a serious problem with it. No bullets = no damage no matter how maxed out the gun is.
@@dergraf9718depends what’s you’re using it for and with who, I use Gley and have no problems with it it’s actually stronger than my almost maxed out thundercage granted it’s only because it has that high rpm and weak point damage.
If it didn’t have weak point dmg then yeah the gun would be terrible with just a high fire rate.

You have to weaken the piece, once it looks yellow, you go up with the grapple and to prevent it from throwing you, you hold on with the button you use to aim, and with the button you shoot you damage it.
The time the debuff lasts is goin up with the upgrade levels aswell as the amount of stacks
25+ hours of grinding for ult bunny and I don't have 1 blueprint

Tbh it also wasn't a very complicated game to get into. Not that I advocate it cause I don't like it, but it does play a lot like Warframe in its loot acquisition. That being said I prefer this game to Warframe
It’s easy to figure out. Unlike warframe where ppl just quit forced at master 9 and d2 where ppl quit before they get out of the tutorial. Nothing but complaints about d2 but any sci-fi shooter comes you bots go it’s just like it derrr no fucking shit brain rot all sci-fi shooters are the same even halo fits into these. Decades of new it will stop eventually but you ppl crap your pants over things not being a new new new and great day one. Besides eldin ring not a single other game has been released without majority issues.

Yeah you need to max this weapon with dupes to extend the duration of the debuff so it lasts through reloads.
No one thought the perk was going to work with gley 😅 the reason we wanted to get it is cause it has high weak point and rof

Ya, I have a few of the ultimate weapons and most of them don't seem good on paper. Fallen Hope is probably the best one, in my opinion.
@rubean7176 just getting them once isn't enough. From them to get good, you need to upgrade the trait with multiple copies

You have to use it with a mod to make it any good. You use it for the fire rate not the abilities

It's probably good if you have the ability levelled a few times and have the aim to consistently hit weak points. Otherwise, a good thundercage is probably just better

Python is the best weapon for massacre Gley cause it has one of the fastes fire rate plus u can use an ultimate reactor for 20% dmg a legendary reactor
I would like to add that the time limit of prey goes up when enhancing its unique ability!! Therefore making it more useful for yourself! It also stacks up to 20 times, so make sure youre hitting those weak points! You havent explained the gun properly but good short regardless
Damn so it doesn't even work on gley? Weird. Not farming anymore of these. Crafted a extra one as well.
The vast majority of the unique weapons are just completely worthless, 3 or 4 that are only really useful on certain Descendants, and 2 or 3 that are almost always your best choices for weapons (looking at you Thunder Cage), and while all of them can have their ability enhanced 4 times......have fun farming 15 component BLUEPRINTS for all but 4 of the uniques.
Launchers are not included in this because.....well, they're launchers so they're all good.
Is the Fallen Hope a better poison weapon when paired with Freyna?? I don’t have either. Just the descendant atm

Question. Does this game bring y'all joy? Legitimately though does it? I haven't played for a week I picked it up and played the hell out of it until I had to work again we had last week off. Only thing I don't enjoy is the fact that there are quickInfo for modules dropping in specific missions and then all you get is class mods for other descendants but ths one youre going into the mission for.
Yeah, i kinda regret investing in the Python. It just didn't turn out as good as i thought, so i just stuck with thunder cage
Its a gun for bossing, crit doesnt work on it so invest on weak point dmg + elements, its a really great gun for gley

Go for the highest percentage drop. It will be on a much harder content but it will drop. I just +4 my python doing that.

You gotta stay holding on the target and then hit your attack button repeatedly until it’s destroyed
When it bucks (like for Xbox) holding LT to stay on and then when targets done bucking hit your RT repeatedly until destroyed

All the ultimate weapons in this game are really underwhelming except for the thunder cage
Punisher has the highest weak spot damage in the game for a non heavy.
Perforator is really good. It will one shot everything but a boss with full shield and a colossi with one head shot on hard mode enemies. The snipers are really good as well. One specializes in weak point damage buffs and the other specializes in providing a debuff so your poison/chill/burn /electric skill and gun damage can increase. Those are 3 I k ow can work on all characters thunder cage as well so that's 4. From there each character has 1 or 2 other ones that are specially made for them. For example the fallen hope provides poison great for freyna as well as the prey which gives toxic debuff.the one machine gun forget name provides burn ftk great for blair.. so there's anywhere between 4 to 6 solid ults for every character. Not great but just like cod or any other shooter there's never more then a hand full of meta top level weapons that people are gonna use.
Go get doupes ITS better than longer debuff

Using it on my build my gley isn’t maxed and my python isn’t either but I’m still out damaging my other weapons if I hit weak point so the real question is can you aim or not ?

Is it possible to go free to play and fully experience the game and do well in endgame? I don’t mind spending up to $40 if there are some key items.
I'm entirely free to play and I'm through half the end game bosses so it's absolutely possible. Just lots of grinding and waiting for things to be crafted. The 'key' items you'd want to spend money on are two things that let you use a specific type of mod for half the cost. You'll need a lot of those for end game. You can farm for them or buy them but you do need them
i have 3 level 40 characters, working on a 4th. 2 transcendant mods for Viessa, 2 for Ajax, and one for Lepic, all without spending a penny.
the big thing are the super rare upgrade materials. i only have Viessa upgraded from the free materials you got through the game.
as far as fully experiencing the game, i'm still stuck on Devourer so its still in progress for me lol

The machine gun called "Tamer" is nuts. Its a rare, and atm ive got it up to 303,755 dps at lv 100.

You can farm ajax in less than a week, but it still depends on your luck apparently, ive farmed ultimate bunny for 4 days and i got her cooking

There is a higher fire rate purple smg. 999 base.
@@blackyvertigo 926 was the highest purple i found. But im using python for the gold reactor. Purples lose you a 20% base bonus to skill power.
@@cookiebandit101 the SMG is called blue blood bloomer and it’s base rpm is 999. Can be modded to nearly 1300. This is the best massacre weapon in the game as massacre is flat damage per bullet that only scales from skill power and skill power mod and does not take into consideration the weapons firearm attack value.
The value on gold reactors stops applying once you change to any of your other guns.

The added power bonus of a python reactor adds more DMG with the ultimate that the purple bloom I've tested this.@@blackyvertigo

The games a pay to win trash can period. Straight garbage ass game. Same mechanics thru the whole entire thing and you can buy end game materials - pay to win garbage. Either grind you’re ass off and get everything eventually or open your wallet and just buy the stuff you need. Takes the spirit right out of the game when you’re able to just buy end game shit. Terrible concept

@user-bi7xw5nf2n I think the original post is wrong tho. That's actually Pay to Lose. If you buy end game materials you just make the gameplay shorter. The fun of the game is enjoying the gameplay and story, so of you're speed running it by paying for 'skips' it is more like Pay to Lose by rushing instead of enjoying.
But to each their own I guess. Some people might not have time, and others might just not want to spend time playing/grinding.
Why does the dps need to be that high? WoW and other games didn't do a stat squish for no reason, nobody wants to see numbers that high except for Disgaea fans

Wish I had them streamer drops. To have everything already this game is going to die right away. They gave streamers more of a chance with drops and modules then a regular chad. It's not worth the grind
I just came to read all the comments about "this game sucks" "I dont care" , yet they wall watched it and still commented. Sucks about python though, I was farming for it for gley, but if it doesnt debuff during ultimate, I will just go with the other equally fast smg.
