Stack HP, put one one defense mod, get gear with 1 double HP roll, and two pieces with double defense rolls. Defense and resistance mean NOTHING without HP. Defense is your general damage resistance, it means NOTHING if you don't have a decent amount of health. My Ajax has 14k health and 49k defense. I can stand still in an executioner fight and tank with no elemental resist. Build health, then defense.
The resistance actually doesn't do much, as it does static reduction. This is less valuable when in hard mode the boss does lot more damage your static reduction is just too tiny. Defense and HP work a lot better.
Defense is good, great even, it should be one of the highest investments in any build. Resistance however, helps alot more than you parrots are repeating. .
I wish that Descendants had innate element resistance to their respective element, while non element ones had smaller resistance to all elements. Would give a fantastic edge to all characters👌 for example Bunny with 4k Electric Res at lvl 40, Freyna 4k Poison Res, and so on, and for non-element like Ajax, he could have 1k Res to all elements at lvl 40.

I saw that video and I don’t believe it based on experience. Had 45k def in hard Devourer, was still squishy. Got 70k def now and resistances, and I’m always picking up bunnies

i'm having a dps issue with my groups,. we shoot the colossus for 10 minutes straight and all we did was deplete the shield, we still have all our lives.
i think it is either you guys arent upgrading your guns.. or you manage to damage it.. but slow on destroying the object that makes the colossus to regenerate
Pyromancer was a terrible boss to beat. I had bout a dozen teams that would get to the 10 minute fail with everyone full health. It wasn't my weapon or skills either that were the problem, so saying up your stuff isn't true. My main toon is still Viessa so I was constantly hitting weak frost
You can absolutely queue as a lvl 1 for hard mode bosses if you have a build setup. My 8 catalyst ult bunny has literally no issue and 99% of the time I'm hard carrying. There's a lot of poor information in this video, for example resistances. They scale VERY poorly and the amount you need for it to be even a little decent is maybe 24k but even then HP/DEF stacking will always be superior. Just a little bit more research goes a long way. Also mastery doesn't increase max capacity. It increases minimum capacity to where you'll eventually keep the amount you lose when resetting. Again, very little research will provide this information.
Exactly, I don’t agree with content creators often, but this is a pretty spot on video, the only thing I would add, get the HP collector after all of this.
TLDR: Focus more on Def and HP than Resistance. Around 3k Resist (1 external component line) is enough if your defense and HP are high enough. Your core should be mostly comprised of Defense and HP. Idealy around 40-50k defense and 9k hp at max level with around 3k resists from 1 line on external components to the element you will be taking. Anything more than 5k is slightly less impactful due to the diminishing returns on damage reductions based on elemental resistance. Defense also has diminishing returns but it mitigates much more damage than resistance will. Theres another channel that breaks down the damage numbers for both Defenses and Resistances to showcase this called 'Ryechews Games'. Having some resistance is necessary but having the stated amount on the void interception screen is a waste of mod capacity slots.
This is easy for a Bunny main , to be able to speck into resistance’s, but seeing as other (Non Cheesy) characters have to speck into there skills to even match or become OP like the Rabbit, the other characters can’t spare the mod slots, because not every skill is as easy to charge as running around squeaking like Bunny’s
No it doesn't. You can run any of the defense special operations and be at 40 after 2-3 20~min runs. Hitting lvl 40 is literally the easiest grind to do in the game😅

dont listen to this guy talking about resistances, you do not need the recommened amount, and even trying to achieve that resistance number is a pain in the butt. I cleared all the hardmode bosses and i always went with 40k+ defence and 8-10k life depending on components available. I went in there without any resistances, only for the dead bride and frost walker i had 3,3k chill resist by accident from a component but thats it. If you really want that extra piece of resistance, maybe because you are on console ( harder time to dodge ), then just save random components with 1 resist roll each thats it. Dont waste your time trying to achieve over 8k resistances, its nonsense.
Also he is wrong about mastery and capacity. You do NOT GET MORE MAX capacity, it just increases the MINIMUM capacity of a fresh lv 1 descendant or weapon. A lv 40 descendant or weapon will always get 50 capacity, period. Weapon activator gives + 30 cap, and descendant activator gives + 20 cap, then + 10 from module and also +5 for catalyst your submodule slots to a total of 85. Bro do you even play the game? making guides for hardmode lmao
Check rate I mean certainly if you step in poison you’re gonna take a few heads of poison, but if you have him points and defense and shield, both of the boss damage can be mitigated and avoided and absorbed meanwhile your components, especially not your module slats. Don’t need any additional resistance I thought that was true that all my components should each have the resistance and that I was gonna need to be swapping out for a specific boss, but later on in the game when you just go in at bosses and when the Boston does something that’s going to put some kind of chill or poison or fire or whatever on you you just move out of it and move out of it or a poison tag or you get frozen for a secondbottom line goes your character. Can’t hear your character can absorb a little bit of a dive then you don’t belong there.
I really wish the Antibodies all had the same polarity (mod slot type). It's so much easier to free up 8 more capacity than 16. Polarity is a Warframe term. There's too many similarities between TFD and WF to not have some terms bleed over, imo.
there are 4 mods that are better than any antibody, those all share the same polarity and the only mod you need for any elemental dmg as they make you completely immune to the "dots" of each element
@@angelus877 This is the way, I tried a maxed fire antibody against pyro, then tried it without. I noticed almost zero difference to the damage I was taking. Removing the dot you take is infinitely more powerful for survivability than flat +resistance
Try sensory deprivation. Cant prove it works, but somehow it really feels like it makes a difference, due to defence diminishing returns making it unfeasible for certain characters to stack more than roughly 50k defence, I reckon S.D. gives you an extra flat 10% reduction, the alternative being that youd have to take 50k to 80k to see the same result.

Took me 3 weeks to get to hard and the boss with fire was the hardest to get thru with randoms. I had shield def and HP evenly leveled while I played thru. And used 1 level past the recommended resist. I wasn't having much trouble I spent two days watching team after team die😂 I tried even just picking everyone up 😂
Please don’t tell people to use resistance mods it is literally a wasted slot, just run defence and hp the returns you get from resistances are so small you will barely notice it, if a boss hits you for 1000 fire damage and you have 1000 fire resist you just reduced the hit by 10 damage good job buddy

I don’t feel like you’re very clear about something things like increase defense increase HP they increase your base defense and base HP number by that percentage the main stat for defense HP and shields on your components that number increases your base number so if you want HV wanna pile on HP then pick each component I mean grind and tell each component has HP as the primary stat Base and your HP module will increased that number by the percentage listed on the module that you get the two items together as far as survive bill goes so each of the numbers for survivability on your external components are increasing your base stat whatever based that refers to you know defense HP shield whateversays HP in your HP even if you don’t run an HP you’re still getting more HP when you put an HP external component on

Another way to prevent the fall animation is to roll off a cliff instead of jumping.

I dont put much in to resist. 3K each, 1 resist per external component. After that, stack the crap out of HP and Def.
I don't think enough players realize how important components are to survivability.
the sub slot should also be your first one to mod, for that extra 5 capacity

I literally did the devour boss fight 5 times with ramdoms and couldn’t beat it. People kept going down. I did it by myself easy. Please up your def

There are some immunity mods ultimate but it doesnt gove much resistance just immunity to tick dmg
