one thing to note, Skill Power Modifier does work on Gley's Massacre, Skill Simplification's 84.5% Skill Power Mod for no loss (-25% MP) increases Massacre's Skill Power Mod from 68.9% > 153.4%. this is equivalent to +1.23x Skill Power Ratio that is multiplicative to it. I'm not sure why the tooltip is not updating for Focus on Dimension's Skill Power Mod Bonus, but it's not useless aside for 2nd stat. If anything, it would add more damage than Non-Attribute's 77.2% Skill Power Boost since 68.2% Skill Power Mod is effectively +99% Skill Power, multiplicative with your actual Reactor Skill Power Boost. Alternatively, if Dimension's Skill Power Mod is not working with it, Skill Simplification over Dimension is fine as well as you'd be trading a roughly 0.4s extra downtime on 3rd for a giant 2.23x DPS Boost.
This is actually a great note, thanks. Would you happen to know if the 160% skill power increase from reactor when mounting stays during massacre? If massacre changes the weapon and drops the mounting buff reducing SP bonus to 100%, it would obviously make more sense to stay with a purple reactor for the perma 140% bonus. Haven't been able to test this myself, not a ton of time to play atm

The above was something I found out in a discussion when finding out the difference between Skill Power and Skill Modifier. I would assume so since Gley builds I see are running Legendary Reactors for Python and it makes sense since Massacre does inherit the weapon's traits.
I started building Gley like a week ago and while I realized I really liked rocket spam, I liked the idea of Gley even better and had kinda been building something similar to this! Thank you for putting your build out, I took some notes.
I just unlocked Gley today and was so excited to finally play her after grinding all the mats out. Been playing Bunny up til this point. Tried to do some missions in Hagios and kept getting my teeth kicked in. Bunny didn't have that problem. Gley was my intended main and I thought she just wasn't that good. Found this. Got back on IMMEDIATELY and started working on this build. Thank you so much. Looking forward to playing her again.
The mod for her second ability that says it lets non frenzied state pick up life orbs is better then blood and iron, if you use it while frenzied it generates 3 of your special resource out of thin air, no need to crit or hit enemies

Just a casual 8 capacitor build folks and hard mode Devourer/Obstructer set on top of top tier weapons (max capped too) with max capacitor and upgrades. EZ farm! super casual and something you defintally should farm .....

This is actually a big concern for P2W games. It's one thing to shit on my time (nerfs on something I farmed up) and 100% something else to nerf something I dropped $$$ for.
If you are on hard mode, you can then press F on Keyboard and it brings you to a sort of list. You then sort by what part and attribute you want and it tells you exactly where you can find it. If you can't find what you are looking for you might have to wait for the next rotation which is on a weekly basis.
So funny enough, I watched this vid before your beginner vid as I was just getting into the game. Even though a lot of the info was over my head at the time, you explained things so well I was able to understand easily. No brainer sub for me!
5-7 minutes per run (5 if you're in a good group or solo with a fully min-maxed bunny setup) in white-night gulch fortress outskirts seizure gets you about 140k total exp for weapons (100k primary 40k split 50-50 for the other two), 15k-19k~ish kuiper and 250k-290k~ish gold activate all 4 points and let all of it get stopped, wait until the timer reaches about 5.30~ish or until they're no longer spawning new mobs, before you clean up the whole thing (killing, looting), after that just abort the mission and restart

That doesn't exactly make it the most efficient option bloomer is also a rare so it is easily accessible and can be paired with a rare reactor and both mentioned weapons are best in slot for massacre due to rpm. A high crit weapon eg a hand cannon is then used to proc blood and iron stacks. As for walk a tightrope it is not wasted space whatsoever, you will be constantly flickering between high health and half to below health during colossus fights and other content this also directly benefits annihilation set. It is also a significant increase in damage regardless of it being a "wasted slot".
@XjerichoX12 I use smithereen to proc because it has 100% crit rate and gets your bar going pretty much instantly. That is all that gun is good for. Then switch to python and pop cds and go ham.
@@XjerichoX12 Yeah what you are talking about is a method used by Saintone. It does less damage. Just straight up less damage. A thundercage with a 6x crit damage multiplier will do more. You are better of using viper if you want a high firerate weapon with no crit, and a smithereens. And you indeed don't have space for Tightrope if you play infinite ammo. I mean, actually do the build. I have a god roll reactor that let me slot in a resist mod to make me much more resilient, I could put in tightrope, but that's basically for a big loss in tankiness. The damage gain is minimal too.
@@massyl25 Proof of concept for thundercage? I have this build optimised with Python and Ult Gley fully built. The reason python is used is because it has the highest weakpoint damage of any general rounds weapon within the game. Not to mention massacre is scaled by skill crit rate/damage not weapon crit damage/rate. Why on earth would I use a tactical rifle for high rpm you do understand the premise of tightrope and high rpm on massacre right? Also what do you mean tankiness you have extremely diminishing returns between 40k/50k defence you can easily hit that quota with well rolled components. you're blabbering rubbish here to someone that's played Gley since Beta.
ult grey is bugged right now. The issue "masscare says every 10% hp lost, you get more skill power. for Ult Grey it only kicks it at 50% hp and its won't keep scaling the lower you go. Normal Gley gets a power boost as stated in the description every 10% hp lost. You can test yourself if you have normal gley and ult gley. go to lab. Pop Massacre, fire 1 shot every time you reduce your hp. at 50% massive power spike. now heal up to full. fire shot. you will see for ult gley you get the same numbers until 50% hp, while normal gley keeps scaling. I would bring this to peoples attention and submit a bug report

@@keithmuchiri9279 Have you tried farming Ultimate Gley? I farmed for some hours after work for the past few days, 55 tries just for 1 6% drop, in the end I got 10 catalysts blueprint while farming for her parts. Catalyst at 20% drops quite frequently. Just give it a try.
you dont need the ultimate for this build? normal gley is fine. the catalyst have a chance at dropping fully crafted ones at the end of wave 21 missions. its nothing insane imo when you know how to get the items
You do need Blood and Iron an Lvl 122 Hard Mode Colossi Exclusive mod. The 3rd strongest enemy in the game is how you get that mod so you need to be able to farm that first before you can make this build

@@NGFRIZZ With a 26 round clip, you're going from the base 20% crit rate being ~5 rounds in the clip that will crit on average, to an average of ~7 rounds that will crit from a full clip with the mod (even with Gley doing infinite ammo, it's only averaging an additional 1 in 13ish shots that will crit with the crit mod equipped). A 7% increase to crit just isn't going to equate to the 20%+ increase to DPS that the stat sheet shows from having just two more rounds of a clip that will crit. The video is right, the crit mod isn't generally worth it and the the stat sheet math in game isn't correct. It is a DPS increase, but not one you should bother with until you don't have anything else to add for mods.
Farm void or recons or do the slightly longer route by farm hard infils and opening them by doing their respective bosses. Materials to craft them doesn't take long to farm, its getting the blueprints thats slightly annoying.Which isnt that bad in itself at 20% without a shape. I've already farmed up 8 or so just by playing. However I have been playing alot.

and missile gley cheaper and better... sub 30s hard devoreur in a perfect try, sub 60s if you have an invincibility phase. Plus AoE damage. And set up in 1 cast instead of 2. Only downside is visibilty

Saintone was the first to make an Infinite Massacre build Gley video. His also explains exactly how and why the DPS is the best along with going over other mechanics. The Gley video here can do so much more. Thunder Cage is great for mobbing, but it isn't the best for melting bosses. With only 666 RPM. Python on the other hand has a base of 923 that can be inherited by Massacre. There is an epic SMG called Blue Blood Boomer even, that has 999 RPM, but then you're stuck with an Epic Reactor.
I mean there’s only so many ways you can put a descendant together. Same deal with warframe. People come across the same builds while figuring out what’s best. That’s like saying you can’t film a dungeon raid video because you weren’t the first to complete to dungeon

what I very much like about this is, how i just came from warframe, fired up the game and thought oh gley sounds interesting. after messing around with the same launcher spam build myself that are out there i came to the exact same thinking hmmm my massacre weapon would be super fun to use. i have 6 formas in but im using literally the exact same modules otherwise. unfortunately im not yet where i can farm devourer but i will get there. more formas and reactors in my weapons are currently what holds me back. but i love that I came up with this myself too and not just copied the one and only warframe build youtuber :D

What more do some of you want? If it wasn't for grind, I'd be playing something else a long time ago. More or less helldivers died on this, there is nothing left to grind in the game so the game died and out of 120-150k players online, you now have 20-30k...
@@JustRuda Grind should be fun and engaging, not running the same point defense mission 1000x in a row for exp. Catalysts are just leveling your character 8 times in a row with the same method, ridiculously boring.

For the reactor, some other streamer discovered, that blue Skill cooldown > gold skill cooldown. Somehow negative multipliers work in reverse in the game.
@@Tone_Of_Dials what i mean is, usually Gold Coloured bonus on Reactor is preferable, but in case of Skill Cooldown, Blue tier is better than Gold tier. meaning, Blue Tier provide more cooldown than Gold Tier. you can check Moxsy video on Gley Build
@Tone_Of_Dials my understanding of this is the attribute of cooldown you can get on the bottom stats of reactors random rolled is not correctly colored. They mistakenly made the number closer to 0 gold, when really it should be the other way around because the lower the negative value for skill cooldown, the better. Seems to be a simple error they made. So what he is saying is correct, blue skill cooldown is better that gold on your gear rolls.
You can just use the two skill crit chance crit dmg blue and purple mods with maxed out python and kill any boss before duration finishes because the skill crit chance adds to weapon crit chance so skill crit chance should be around 60%. You can crit for almost 1mil per shot with 1000 fire rate if you hit weak point so you dont need to build cooldown.
nice to see more gley builds that arent just rocket spam! though rocket spam is good for aoe clearing during pve, but its nice not getting flashbanged all the time lol. If i had to make one modification to the build mass sanguification lets you suck your own life for orbs vs crit fishing. I'm not sure which one is better but i believe you get mass sang earlier then blood and iron so at the very least could be a nice stop gap. Also have you tested demonic modification? im not sure if there is some hidden damage multiplier on it or what since it just seems like alot of cons for 0 benefits! would love to hear your take on it
@@NotRealCandy How so? with Sang I can get into 4 right at the beginning slightly faster than Iron and blood but the extra seconds doesnt really matter much, It's mainly so I get into roughly below 50% to proc tightrope.
The assumption that crit rate increases don’t matter when you fire really fast is flat wrong. When the sample size increases the actual crit rate will converge to your weapon crit rate. Making even small crit rate increases noticeable depending on fire rate.
Went to take down the devourer on hard after long prep just to be teamed with three gley builds with rocket launchers - didn't see anything and the bossling was down in 1:30min. What an engaging and challenging boss battle
Your right, hopefully you get out in a fight with 3 "new to hard mode" bunnies so you can spend half the time picking them up. And slow your grind down even more 😊

somehow in the process of cleaning my inventory and storage i lost a thundercage gold CD and duration reactor, i really love that there is a useless limit to how many items we can favorite that doesn't need to exist, i completed all this farming to get this build up and running and now i just feel so defeated because the devs decided to make a stupid system -_-

Finally completed the grind to get Gley. Absolutely zero idea how to play her properly. This video was S tier my man thank you very much

Where can I go to farm your reactor?
If you are on hard mode, you can then press F on Keyboard and it brings you to a sort of list. You then sort by what part and attribute you want and it tells you exactly where you can find it. If you can't find what you are looking for you might have to wait for the next rotation which is on a weekly basis.

5-7 minutes per run (5 if you're in a good group or solo with a fully min-maxed bunny setup) in white-night gulch fortress outskirts seizure gets you about 140k total exp for weapons (100k primary 40k split 50-50 for the other two), 15k-19k~ish kuiper and 250k-290k~ish gold
activate all 4 points and let all of it get stopped, wait until the timer reaches about 5.30~ish or until they're no longer spawning new mobs, before you clean up the whole thing (killing, looting), after that just abort the mission and restart

Why thunder cage over python/bloomer?
You also proved in your boss demo pretty much immediately why walk a tightrope is used?
1. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVERYONE has thundercage.
2. pay attention again to why walk isnt needed, gun modding and wasted space.

That doesn't exactly make it the most efficient option bloomer is also a rare so it is easily accessible and can be paired with a rare reactor and both mentioned weapons are best in slot for massacre due to rpm. A high crit weapon eg a hand cannon is then used to proc blood and iron stacks. As for walk a tightrope it is not wasted space whatsoever, you will be constantly flickering between high health and half to below health during colossus fights and other content this also directly benefits annihilation set. It is also a significant increase in damage regardless of it being a "wasted slot".
@XjerichoX12 I use smithereen to proc because it has 100% crit rate and gets your bar going pretty much instantly. That is all that gun is good for. Then switch to python and pop cds and go ham.

A thundercage with a 6x crit damage multiplier will do more.
You are better of using viper if you want a high firerate weapon with no crit, and a smithereens.
And you indeed don't have space for Tightrope if you play infinite ammo.

I have a god roll reactor that let me slot in a resist mod to make me much more resilient, I could put in tightrope, but that's basically for a big loss in tankiness.
The damage gain is minimal too.

The reason python is used is because it has the highest weakpoint damage of any general rounds weapon within the game. Not to mention massacre is scaled by skill crit rate/damage not weapon crit damage/rate. Why on earth would I use a tactical rifle for high rpm you do understand the premise of tightrope and high rpm on massacre right? Also what do you mean tankiness you have extremely diminishing returns between 40k/50k defence you can easily hit that quota with well rolled components. you're blabbering rubbish here to someone that's played Gley since Beta.

ult grey is bugged right now. The issue "masscare says every 10% hp lost, you get more skill power. for Ult Grey it only kicks it at 50% hp and its won't keep scaling the lower you go. Normal Gley gets a power boost as stated in the description every 10% hp lost. You can test yourself if you have normal gley and ult gley. go to lab. Pop Massacre, fire 1 shot every time you reduce your hp. at 50% massive power spike. now heal up to full. fire shot. you will see for ult gley you get the same numbers until 50% hp, while normal gley keeps scaling. I would bring this to peoples attention and submit a bug report

Well $100 gives you 5k (excluding bonus) but you only need 3k for the ultimate version (plus skin).
@@keithmuchiri9279 Have you tried farming Ultimate Gley? I farmed for some hours after work for the past few days, 55 tries just for 1 6% drop, in the end I got 10 catalysts blueprint while farming for her parts. Catalyst at 20% drops quite frequently. Just give it a try.
you dont need the ultimate for this build? normal gley is fine. the catalyst have a chance at dropping fully crafted ones at the end of wave 21 missions. its nothing insane imo when you know how to get the items
You do need Blood and Iron an Lvl 122 Hard Mode Colossi Exclusive mod. The 3rd strongest enemy in the game is how you get that mod so you need to be able to farm that first before you can make this build

@@NGFRIZZ With a 26 round clip, you're going from the base 20% crit rate being ~5 rounds in the clip that will crit on average, to an average of ~7 rounds that will crit from a full clip with the mod (even with Gley doing infinite ammo, it's only averaging an additional 1 in 13ish shots that will crit with the crit mod equipped). A 7% increase to crit just isn't going to equate to the 20%+ increase to DPS that the stat sheet shows from having just two more rounds of a clip that will crit. The video is right, the crit mod isn't generally worth it and the the stat sheet math in game isn't correct. It is a DPS increase, but not one you should bother with until you don't have anything else to add for mods.

Farm void or recons or do the slightly longer route by farm hard infils and opening them by doing their respective bosses. Materials to craft them doesn't take long to farm, its getting the blueprints thats slightly annoying.Which isnt that bad in itself at 20% without a shape. I've already farmed up 8 or so just by playing. However I have been playing alot.

Saintone was the first to make an Infinite Massacre build Gley video.
His also explains exactly how and why the DPS is the best along with going over other mechanics.
The Gley video here can do so much more. Thunder Cage is great for mobbing, but it isn't the best for melting bosses. With only 666 RPM.
Python on the other hand has a base of 923 that can be inherited by Massacre.
There is an epic SMG called Blue Blood Boomer even, that has 999 RPM, but then you're stuck with an Epic Reactor.
I mean there’s only so many ways you can put a descendant together. Same deal with warframe. People come across the same builds while figuring out what’s best. That’s like saying you can’t film a dungeon raid video because you weren’t the first to complete to dungeon

what I very much like about this is, how i just came from warframe, fired up the game and thought oh gley sounds interesting. after messing around with the same launcher spam build myself that are out there i came to the exact same thinking hmmm my massacre weapon would be super fun to use. i have 6 formas in but im using literally the exact same modules otherwise. unfortunately im not yet where i can farm devourer but i will get there. more formas and reactors in my weapons are currently what holds me back.
but i love that I came up with this myself too and not just copied the one and only warframe build youtuber :D

What more do some of you want? If it wasn't for grind, I'd be playing something else a long time ago. More or less helldivers died on this, there is nothing left to grind in the game so the game died and out of 120-150k players online, you now have 20-30k...
@@JustRuda Grind should be fun and engaging, not running the same point defense mission 1000x in a row for exp. Catalysts are just leveling your character 8 times in a row with the same method, ridiculously boring.

For the reactor, some other streamer discovered, that blue Skill cooldown > gold skill cooldown. Somehow negative multipliers work in reverse in the game.
@@Tone_Of_Dials what i mean is, usually Gold Coloured bonus on Reactor is preferable, but in case of Skill Cooldown, Blue tier is better than Gold tier. meaning, Blue Tier provide more cooldown than Gold Tier. you can check Moxsy video on Gley Build
@Tone_Of_Dials my understanding of this is the attribute of cooldown you can get on the bottom stats of reactors random rolled is not correctly colored. They mistakenly made the number closer to 0 gold, when really it should be the other way around because the lower the negative value for skill cooldown, the better. Seems to be a simple error they made.
So what he is saying is correct, blue skill cooldown is better that gold on your gear rolls.
That has been patched out long time.

I missed all these warframe creators when I dropped the game. Were back baby.
You can just use the two skill crit chance crit dmg blue and purple mods with maxed out python and kill any boss before duration finishes because the skill crit chance adds to weapon crit chance so skill crit chance should be around 60%. You can crit for almost 1mil per shot with 1000 fire rate if you hit weak point so you dont need to build cooldown.
nice to see more gley builds that arent just rocket spam! though rocket spam is good for aoe clearing during pve, but its nice not getting flashbanged all the time lol. If i had to make one modification to the build mass sanguification lets you suck your own life for orbs vs crit fishing. I'm not sure which one is better but i believe you get mass sang earlier then blood and iron so at the very least could be a nice stop gap. Also have you tested demonic modification? im not sure if there is some hidden damage multiplier on it or what since it just seems like alot of cons for 0 benefits! would love to hear your take on it

The assumption that crit rate increases don’t matter when you fire really fast is flat wrong. When the sample size increases the actual crit rate will converge to your weapon crit rate. Making even small crit rate increases noticeable depending on fire rate.
Went to take down the devourer on hard after long prep just to be teamed with three gley builds with rocket launchers - didn't see anything and the bossling was down in 1:30min. What an engaging and challenging boss battle
Your right, hopefully you get out in a fight with 3 "new to hard mode" bunnies so you can spend half the time picking them up. And slow your grind down even more 😊

somehow in the process of cleaning my inventory and storage i lost a thundercage gold CD and duration reactor, i really love that there is a useless limit to how many items we can favorite that doesn't need to exist, i completed all this farming to get this build up and running and now i just feel so defeated because the devs decided to make a stupid system -_-
