- T-motor sent me this power combo for review, I think its a great option for an F7 full function flight controller. Building with this stack was easy nice big solder pads, and for the price you cant beat it.

I fly only Velox.....luv em
Congrats on the review items! On your way broski.
Thank you I appreciate it. 🤘
Those T-Motor 5143 props are my favorite props for my best flying bird. I LOVE them!
Thanks for sharing.
Yoo, that’s the park I fly at, nice vid 👍
Thank you!
Awesome! Hands down this is my favorite chanel. I saw the Velox f7 cine and thought for some reason this vid was about that one😂.
Thank you! I think the ESC is the same but yeah different FC.
Very trusting to fly a new build over water.
😂 yeah I was definitely a bit nervous..
I just got back into FPV and built two so far. I love your videos and I'm looking at doing a 7inch long range build next. Ima check yours out and go from there and may do the same build. Keep it up you're doing awesome.
Thank you I really appreciate! 🤘😁
@@andrewmedia3568 yes sir. Hopefully one day I can fly like you lol
@@LastbigD lots of practice 🫡💪.
@@andrewmedia3568 I am working on that for sure. I wish I had people to fly with around here but there is no one. Also If you dont already you need your own frame like these other people lol.
@@LastbigD I am usually flying alone but its ok I just enjoy flying. Maybe some day ill have my own frame, that would be awesome. 🤩
👍🏻🤗🤩 cool
That thing flies great. Apparently, there was another one under the maple bridge.
do you have any recommendations for a frame for a 5 inch bando build? having a hard time deciding
Great video. One concern though, I read somewhere that the capacitor should be mounted as close to the battery pad as possible for maximum protection. Any thoughts on that?
That is true. It should be soldered right on the battery pads or right on the xt60 leads. That being said I have multiple quads with remote mounted capacitors and I have no issues. Its really up to you when building where you wanna "cut corners" or just have to make things work. 🤷♂
@@andrewmedia3568 Great! I have the same problem with my build, the cap is in the way and I was afraid to move it. But not anymore, thank you for the advice 🤞🤞😊
No problem just make sure your solder joints are solid and the wires are large enough gauge to handle the amperage. like using the extra motor wire trimmings.
@@andrewmedia3568 I'll make sure of that, tnx. btw. now that I finished the whole video, great flying! 😀
@@jsflood Thank you 🤘😁
Hello, blogger, wouldn’t the wire passing through the gyroscope interfere with the gyroscope? Can the traces be run on top of the gyroscope?
That big chip in the center of the flight controller is not the gyroscope. Thats the main processor. And I have wires running through most if not all of my builds like this and don't have any issues. 🤷♂. The gyro is gonna be more sensitive to things like frame resonance, bent or damaged props and bad motors.
You need to rotate ECS to 180 degrees - to the front. So long wires for cap do not work correctly.
Yeah I probably should have put it 180, the esc-fc cable was plenty long enough for that.
One big mistake please put heat shrink on the receiver reason why is if it did come off in a crash and exposed pcb and wires on the receiver touch the carbon fibre frame or stand off or wires on the flight controller will cause a short and fry things always put heat shrink or capton tape over the receiver.
Thanks for the heads up. 👍 I know I should cover the RX but Im lazy sometimes and was just trying to get the video done quickly. 😅
Which 6s battery is best for freestyle? 1500 or 1300mah
6s is a bit heavier than 4s. Personally id run 1500mah but the 1300 might save you a bit of weight, but also might have less flight time. maybe get one of each and see which one runs better.
Can you use that stack for a 7" long range build? For 2809 motors?
Yes definitely as long as your motors and input voltage are matched well, you would have no problem. My 7” is running 2808 1500kv on 6s.
I'm looking to match some 7" parts. Motors will be GEPRC EM2810 1350KV 6s...... how do I know If this stack is good for me brotha? I know we are talking about the speedybee stacks, but this is a good question by this person, and I'm having trust issues with Speedybee. I think the v4 60amp speedybee on paper is a wicked good stack, but after blowing up 5 or more v3's it becomes a trust issue. My 7" will be my most expensive and needed to fly always with no trust issues drone. So I need help finding the cheapest best stack for it.
@@djhex Well based on my 7" build, as far as ESC and amp limits. 1350 6s would be fine. Im running 1500kv 2808 6s with 2 massive heavy custom built 21700 li-ion packs run in parallel and a full size GoPro. Ive flown miles and have not had any issues. the stack is the T-motor F7 55amp pro 2 HD. But I don't think the extra 5 amps per ESC is needed. So 50 amps should be fine. The main things you need for a 7" stack is USB powered pads for GPS to get sats without overheating the VTX or interference. Other than that just making sure your motor size, kv and input voltage are correct for the weight and size of drone. Typically with 7" long range quads your not pulling very much amperage for very long since your worried about battery life/efficiency. Ive got a build video for my 7" and some other flight videos with it if your interested.
@@andrewmedia3568 So...... I chase Rally cars. I've been doing it with my 5" drones with no real issues. I run 1850mah gnb hivolt Batts and Rally is usually fast, then they have to turn, so it's really just basic flight operations when it comes to power. However, my issue has been flight time, and wind. Thus why I think a 7" will be a better fit for chasing cars. So I do want something that can handle longer punches if need be. I'm not after long range as most 7" pilots are (however I'm not apposed to it in the future lol) but running larger hivolt 6s packs, maybe even parallel the 1850's would give me significantly longer flight times. Will I build a li-on pack in the near future, probably. But for now, I need my 7" to be pretty quick, so large lipo's, and it NEEDS to no blow esc's! Lol I can't have stacks blowing on the track.
Add me up on IG @djhex_courtney as I think we can learn from one another. I really need to pick out the best stack for the 7" as I can.... I think for the Mario 5 this stack is perfect for it as it runs the tmotor velox motors. Actually I've got extra motors I can rebuild drone # 2 with this stack and velox motors. But I'm out $$$ front the v3's. I've got a brand new v3 sitting on my desk but I can't trust it :(
Sheesh this is super dope 🫡🫡 Enjoy your content
Thank you! I appreciate it. 🤘
