  • While visiting regional New South Wales we take the opportunity to go for a cruise on the local dam. A stunning day with light wind, and great company.

These are the best days. A good breeze is wonderful too, but these days of warmth, cool ripples & kids laughing are the stuff core memories are made of xx

Hi Josh, I’ve binged watched all your videos over the last week while getting through a bout of Covid. Great videography and really interesting stories/subjects. And it just goes to show that you don’t need to fork out 10s of thousands of dollars to enjoy our fantastic waterways.

Nice one Josh. Good to see you out on Kingfisher with the crew. Looks a good location for a dinghy cruise.

Hi Josh, what a wonderful day you and the two great crew had.
No doubt the crew will be promote it soon.
I can also see at around 1.28 the rudder will be in the next video fixing it up.

Lovely spot. I often sail in a reservoir lake, too (Lake Gando, northern Japan). But the surrounding hills are high and close to the water, and the winds, therefore, fickle. Looks like your landscape allows more "predictable" and manageable sailing. Thanks for the cruise.

Yes this is on top of the Great Dividing Range, all the wind turbines in the area are up there. Unfortunately it was a bit too quiet on the breeze front. Thanks for your comment. Josh

Sometimes I am amazed by how little wind it takes to get a dinghy to move.

Beutiful spot and sailing conditions. I am very jealous. It seems to blow a gale every time I try to go out!

Sydney feels fickle lately that is for sure. I was lucky it wasn’t either a 40 knot westerly or a blizzard, those usually what happens when I go up there.

I did go prepared but the girls aren’t keen on fishing. They both spent time on the helm and mainsheet instead.
