- First time camping aboard! Some footage of a lovely weekend in Friesland with my Ilur 'Nomvula'. This time I borrowed an electric outboard because I was on my own and had to pass some heavy water traffic bridges. Glad I did, because the last day the wind was completely gone - and the little blows that were still there went in the wrong direction. It saved me a long row home.

Awesome video, and beautiful boat, I have a question, when tacking does the jib go by the boom ok or do you furl the jib a little when going about
@@johnhaughey5347 thanks for the nice words! No, I don’t furl it, that would be too much hassle. But needed to do something because indeed the jib sheet tends to hook on the boom. So I made some shockcord from boom to bow.
