The other thing I spotted, which is yet another winter project for Skismo, are some cockpit cushions to sit on - a must for those 8 - 9 hour sails! Lovely video, nice blue sky and crystal clear waters - perfect.

Hi Josh, great to see you out sailing again and I love Pittwater. Any way, I noticed a winch on the Starboard side of the Centre board and wondering what it for, I was thinking for the Centerboard. I didn’t think they were that heavy.
Very nice work Josh, especially making all the parts yourself. Could you fit the pole in reverse so the twist lock adjust is closer to the mast and easier to reach?
Good idea. I was thinking that a boat hook should be of a decent length without having to extend it. Could reverse the design easy enough, if I was to make another prototype. Those fittings are epoxied in.

yes, jibs and genoas when sailing downwind - it is usually a fixed pole for that purpose. A spinnaker pole would be much longer I would think.
