- We left our campsite in Whitefish, MT, in hopes of finding temperatures above freezing in Ennis, MT, and we had some success! That success only lasted about 24hrs until more temperatures below freezing rolled through, causing our water pipes to freeze again.
We gave up the dream of sunlight and warmer temps and found some dispersed camping south of Big Sky Ski Resort, where we boondocked for two weeks.
We met some very friendly friends at an RV repair shop in Bozeman, where they allowed us to thaw out our frozen RV for the weekend. After that, we took to Lone Peak, and snowboarded on New Year's Eve, and capped it off with some fireworks and a party!
We loved our time here, and can't wait to come back next year!

why is everything backwards in your vidoes? Your sitting in the truck and the driver's side is on the right? Maybe I'm a retard and it's my computer, but your videos are the only ones that do this. I enjoy your videos. I've done a lot of winter camping for hunting, and I have found if you block the air flow under the trailer it makes a big difference. I use the blue Styrofoam insulation boards to stop this. They do take up room, but I would just throw them in the trailer when traveling and set them up around the perimeter. I used aluminum tape to hold them in place at the top and some snow or dirt at the bottom. you can get insulated skirting as well...may be worth the ivestment.
Filming a lot on the front camera of my iPhone so it’s inverted haha you’re not going crazy! I told myself once we’re at 1,000 subscribers I’d buy a real camera. After this video was shot we got some roll up insulation to skirt and it’s worked wonders!
How have you liked this particular trailer? I’m in the market for one and want one well built that can handle all temps.
We have loved our camper and it has held up extremely well. Some minor issues but all easy fixes. 26ft has been roomy enough for 2 but small enough to get tj some cool campsites. However, the only thing I think we’d change is that it is not a true 4 season camper. If we didn’t get a Grand Design, we would’ve gotten an Arctic Fox but they are $$$. Hope this helps!
