Truly appreciate the kinds words! This was one of those trips where just everything lined up. The setting, the snow, the lighting, and the views...I truly couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to capture.
Probably the most appetizing and balanced overlander meal I've ever seen. Absolutely killing it with all the little touches here. Great video! Thanks for making and sharing it!

Dude absolutely KILLING it with these videos!!! The shots and drone footage puts you in a state of Zen! Loving your Taco setup too man, I dream of a setup like that and want a GFC soooo bad!!
Thank you SOOO MUCH for the kind words Logan. Really trying to get 1% better with each video I post or include new angles/tricks. The GFC works great for my style of camping. Thanks for watching and be on the lookout for more!
@@hunter_pauley I'm curious, do you leave everything on you truck or do you take everything off when you go home? Is it safe to leave everything on the truck as your daily?
@@hunter_pauley Thanks I thought so. Looks like not getting a Tacoma was the right choice for me (no garage). I went with a Titan Pro-4x instead. Could still sleep in the backseat somewhat without the need for a tent or bed cabin. Wasn't an easy decision---I love Tacoma!
I just watched this whole video and really enjoyed it. Kind of felt like I was watching one of my own videos, but with way better scenery! Also had a good laugh at the end when I saw the sticker on your rear hatch. “One more GFC” 😂 I have an AT atlas on my truck and have “One less GFC” on the rear hatch. 😂 but it’s all in good fun. Great content man. Your channel is going to get huge if you keep putting this kind of stuff out. Subscribed!
Thank you! The sticker always was something that people brought up. Need one of the ones that you have in there now though especially with the camper switch I just did :) Def pushing to keep putting out some higher quality content!
Just saw a report released on our snow levels and we are only at 56% of normal amounts. The whole state is under normal snow levels. This lake 100% should not have been accessible this late in the year. Thanks for the watch and support!
This is a GFC. There are a lot more options in the market for just the RTT such as FSR, CVT, and others that offer more features if you're just getting the RTT version.
just when I think I've gotten all the overlanding gear checked off I now have to add mini chainsaw to the want list haha awesome video work man keep it up
@ Was the mountain Mt Ranier in Washington that was at about 13:00? Above the clouds? I think you are mostly Oregon or Montana. Wondered if maybe Mt Hood in OR or Ranier in WA. Beautiful regardless.
Not as bad I thought they were going to be! A vehicle did stop before the bad part because they slid back some but just keeping momentum and it was fine. Road has somehow gotten better in the last 2-3 years. Someone did mention though that they will no longer maintain it moving forward which is "good" if you ask me.
You can see the full video on my channel but it's a Lavaner Pro built into an Apache Case from Harbor Freight! Slightly better quality and it runs like a champ!
Hunter!! That was an amazing video! Loved it. I just subscribed. I grew up in Montana, Northwest. You brought me home. I just put out a similar video, but with none of the epic shots you got. Let me know if you are ever down in Northern Utah!

Yes he gets his own food. The oil from Cooking of the elk steak…well let’s say I’ve not had a not good time before when even giving him a couple pieces of elk steak.
I run a 285/75/17 wildpeak RT. That middle number is important because it bumps the actual tire size up to a 34. When side by side with a 285/70/17, the difference is extremely noticeable.
@@hunter_pauleyyea i’m on 285/70r17 and was thinking about bumping up to 285/75r17 and was actually thinking about those new wildpeak rt! How d9 you like them? I’ve had the at3ws
It's a REALLY good middle ground before going a full 35. People will def ask what size they are because they do appear bigger than the 33s. The RTs are good thus far! The road noise is pretty much the same as the AT3Ws and traction seems pretty damn similar. Maybe SLIGHTLY worse on hard packed ice but with any AT/RT, that is to be expected imo. They look super aggressive with the side wall.@@ramblinreiss
"autonomous sensory meridian response" is what it stands for. Essentially, it's a focus on the sounds of whatever you're doing/where you are. People often find it relaxing to listen to the water by a creek, the wind in the trees, the fire crackling, etc. hence no talking in "ASMR" videos.
Don't get me wrong I liked it, it's just I don't understand why you would go to the mountains just to try and stay warm and cook food. I mean, don't you like to hunt or fish or something?
