Brentwood Former Mental Hospital

- No longer a hospital, I lived in this place for about 3 years protecting it till they decided to demolish and build houses on Jan 2014. But the ghosts will be around for generations to come for sure...
I can't believe I'm seeing the place where my mum was forcibly (she was going to expose him for the violent cheating man he was) put by her first husband in 1976 to early77 for 9 months. The things she told me that she saw & endured, I'm suprised she was strong enough to get through it & out of there.
I once went to a mental hospital called Brentwood two year back, I know this one isn't the same one as I'm speaking of, because the hospital was more modern. But, they fed us horrible food, the beds were too hard, and they didn't get my schoolwork in till I was in there for about a week. The doctor there didn't give a crap about me, I don't know about anyone else, and when I told him how I felt, prescribed me I-don't-know-how-much zoloft. I could not and still do have bad memory loss, and back then almost stopped eating entirely. They checked on us at night every thirty minutes. I had already lost hope for myself, and, wanting to get out ASAP, lied to all of my counselors that I was all better.
That's how I escaped a mental hospital.

Same as fuck. They overdosed me on Vistiril and I passed out the next day. It was bad. They fucked up and gave my friend the wrong medicine and it screwed her up. I wouldn't wish Brentwood on ANYONE

I won’t charge you, though I should have. But looks like you’re a patient there and I woke up in a good mood, so I’ll be nice.
its now luxury apartments i was in kids home down road, we used to walk thru the mental hospital at nightq when us kids was up to mischief lol
One of my ancestors was hospitalized here in 1939. I was trying to find out more information about her. She had a rough life.
My first job was working here as a cleaner in 1998.
It’s luxury flats now
My sister Nina went there on a few occasions as a patient. A horrible place of inhumanity, forced care and a total lack of compassion. The buildings were old and looked more like a prison than a place of care and health.
Was this also known as “Warley” Hospital ?
Yes and I trained there end of the 80's into the 90's.
Also known as Mascalls Park? I was a patient for about a year and a half.... Had a rather mixed time....
I used to work there in 1968 until 1972 great place
It’s like I was thrown in jail I’ve been there
Worked there... Was that Ash ward and Elm ward you walked through..
+Anton Clark i worked there as well,is it demolished now?
Just went for ride there it's completely gone all houses now very sad
i worked in this hospital for 4.5 years
I see that hospital every time i go to work
is this pine ash or oak elm can not remember
Apparently its now called the Galleries and has been remodeled for luxury flats.. it send shivers to my spine knowing all the backgrounds and history of the building and all the horrible things that happened inside the establishement, that they would sell flats in there... the energies must be horrendously bad...
youpee tralala: These peeps don’t care about tradition or history, only the £’s.
