Adventures In Reach (AIR) hopes to expand what adventures are possible for you, teach the skills to help make that happen, inspire you to get out of a rut, and increase your confidence outdoors. We encourage you to challenge yourself and try something new, from a backyard adventure to an expedition. Although all outdoor adventures are fair game, AIR generally focuses on small sailboat or Sunfish sailboat sailing and camping, rappelling, knots, ropes, hammock camping, outdoor adventures with dogs, compass orienteering, canoeing, wilderness travel, outdoor gear, camping, hiking, and cold weather camping and survival.

We sound a lot alike, injury that slowed me down and coming back from it. Tired of wasting away on the couch and decided to get out there and make memories going on adventures.
Awesome! It's crazy how many people sit around instead of choosing to have an adventure. Glad to hear you are going for it!
Love this video! What a great reminder. Glad I found your channel!
thanks for encouraging us to adventure .
It's my pleasure. I hope you have some planned.
Hey Matt! So after a snowless, muddy winter of no fat biking (my fault, I got a set of studded tires!), the trails dried out and are open again! And it’s in the 70’s this week and the Sunfish is calling!
Unfortunately I had rotator cuff surgery yesterday! 😢 Good prognosis 😅
Next winter, if it’s ok, I’m gonna come visit with my fatty.
And this summer, Im thinking of the Manitou Islands in eastern Lake Michigan. Also thinking of another Apostle Islands trip
Snowless and muddy! Up here was lots of snow! Lucky you to have liquid water. I just checked Lake Vermillion today and it looks like all ice still. I don't know that rotator cuff surgery mixes well with biking or sailing...but a good prognosis is probably more important. Of course it's okay. We are actually building this summer so we should have a more convenient place to stay by winter. You would certainly be welcome. The Manitou islands would be fun and different...although I've also had the goal to get to every Apostle Island at some point. Nate and I were talking about sailing to Outer Island if we go the Apostle route. I should be getting my Hobie 16 next weekend so we'll have another boat to bring! This annual trip might be growing.
Great video! Fun to to see you two biking!
Thank you! It was a good day.
Thank you Matt, I really needed to hear this. It was a big encouragement! Time to find my next adventure.
Yes! That's what I want to hear. You got it! Feel free to let me know what you do.
Great insights!
Thank you!
