    Hi Lori, I love your Farm Girl Chalky Chicks Paint collection! Pretty colours. Great idea for the use of the plastic pizza "tables", I use them for cakes so that the plastic wrap doesn't touch the icing. Take care. Mary

      Hello Natacha...thank you! You could change your speed to slow it down while watching if you would like....that is always an option.
      The reason that I speed mine up is because most people do not want to watch a really long video or watch paint dry in real time. ❤️

    Awesome tutorial! The colors are so beautiful! I have a question...which of your chalk paint colors would be the closest match to the sewing machine color in your “Sew She Did” pattern? I have the cross stitch hanging in my sewing space, and I have a little wooden thread holder shaped like a sewing machine that I wanted to try to match to it. Thought it would be fun!

    Hi Lori, I have purchased the chalky chicks water based top coat but haven’t tried it out yet, does it work and have the effect as the clear wax?

    • @LoriHolt
      @LoriHolt  4 роки тому +2

      Hi Kristina...yes it's a great topcoat option too. It dries clear with just a little sheen.
      I use either that or clear wax to finish my projects.
      I always use the wax when I am distressing a piece to make it look vintagey:) Hope this helps! 😀

    Chalk paint on glass. Repainting a two wooden drawer hutch or stand . If you want to add gold or silver accents on the corners or knobs would you use antiquing
    Paste or should still use the wax ?

      If you are using ceramic you could fire the gold on I no longer have my kiln but I could find someone that does ceramics. I use to have a mold that was an antique small bath tub. It was so much fun to decorate. I didn't know about the use of wax thank you Lori
