I am watching years later. A group at my church is making them to go in Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. I enjoyed watching today more than 3 years ago. Thank you.
Lori I have totally enjoyed all the videos you've done recently. Please continue to do videos they make my day when I see something new. This is super adorable and I will be making this. Keep up the good work.you have no idea how appreciated you are.
I absolutely love this little book and your tutorials are always top notch to me! You remind me of Jenny Doan teaching her tutorials, so easy to understand and follow. I have really grown to love you sweet Lori as you are SOOO AWESOME !!❤❤❤😊
First I’d like to say how very much I love listening to you on your tutorials, Lori you have such a beautiful pleasant voice, makes watching so enjoyable. I really love this needle book, I’ll make one for my dear friend and myself. Thank you!!! 💚
So perfect. Thank you. And oh! Great idea using knitting needle protectors for sharp little scissors. You are awesome. I have requested from our local quilt shop some of your rulers, and others were there and asked for some too! Looking forward to having some slightly grippy rulers. Thank you from Canada
I can't wait to try this! I have been using sandwich bags to throw all the little things in so they stay together in my project bags. This is so much cuter!! Thank you!!!
Thanks Lori! I love this little needle minder....just so cute! I’m already making one! You are so amazing! I love 💕 everything you make! So many adorable things! 🪡❤️
I have ordered many of your cute notions from FQS and now I know how I am going to use them...... Thanks Lori love Prim - colors-projects and especially the cute buttons. They are on my list for my next order. Hugs from Minnesota kathy
From Portugal I just loved this cute little needle book. Well I love all your tutorials. I'new with patchwork. I'm going to try this small book. Thank you.
I tried to make this today, it was really easy to sew the 1.5 inch squares together in 7 rows. But everything went south when I tried to do the 1/8 inch line. I can't believe I actually picked out all my stitches and started over. It is really cute and I am sure a lesson for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS LOVELY PATTERN.
I was soo EXCITED to hear u r doing videos now!! I have been a fan for a few years now! I sewed 20 yrs ago with my mom and then got busy with a family and now i came back(i lost my mom though) into it and alot had changed. You're fabric was the first thing i bought!!! Blessings to u and you're beautiful family lori🙏🏻💟💟💟
I made several of these as gifts in December. Your video instructions were simple to follow. Thanks so much for showing a beginner how easy it is to quilt and make pockets with interface. Loved the process!
Lori this is the nicest Needle Book I have ever seen made and the tutorial as always is GREAT. I made a needle book before I watched your tutorial, so shall definitely be remaking my NB and definitely shall make these for my sewing friends. Thank you Lori for all your tutorial, I LOVE the long ones especially. Linda x
What a wonderfully lovely project! I'm going to make this today to keep in my bedside table for those days when my body won't allow me to get up and work in my sewing room (brain tumor gets in the way of mobility some days). This way, I can hand stitch blocks together as I'm stuck in bed and everything will be in a tidy organized little booklet. THANK YOU!
Ur needle book is so gorgeous n tutorial was simple easy to follow. Just sewed 5 needle books for myself n gifts for others. Thanks so much Lori . Stay well n safe
Adorable! I cannot wait to create your needle book! Thank you for the tutorial and the one stop shopping for all items need to complete the project! Stay well and stitch on!
Thank you for the tutorial made a needle book over a year ago and am now working another. Carry the first one in my purse . Love it !! Great directions.
Love this Lori. Thank you for all of your tutorials. I use them all the time. They are to the point, have great visuals including closeups, and everything is just adorable.
Great job. I have been making these for years and love them. Your tutorial is well done. May I suggest sewing a small piece of elastic in the center to hold the thread. It prevents it from coming loose over time and separating from the kit
I love this!! I think I waill make a couple for my granddaughters. I will leave it plain but give them cut outs and buttons and ribbon to do their own decorating!!!
Thank you Lori for sharing your little needle book!!! I fell in love with it when I first saw it! Looking forward to making one for myself ♥️ You are a rockstar!
Thank you so much Lori, I really really enjoyed watching you create this cute and unique needle book. I love ❤️ the different notions you’ve used here. And the patchwork is Stunning too. I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up too
I’ve been needing a needle book for a long time. Never seem to find the perfect one - until now!!! This is so adorable and useful. I’ll be making one of these soon. Also need to order your Seam Roller. It’s awesome and looks to do a great job of pressing seams. Love how you used appliqués in your book. Thanks Lori for all the fun things you show us how to create. 💕Happy Day!!!
Thank you so much for having a tutorial available for your fans! I will make this for my mom, and she'll love it, but i am also making one for myself as it is just too cute not too!! Thank you so much. I really appreciate all the effort you put into your tutorial!
I wanted to sew this morning but nothing big, so after watching this video I think I'm gong to make this one today. I'll make two one for me and one for my sister thanks for all you do
I have just found you and I’m so glad I did! This little sewing book is gorgeous....... I will definitely be giving this a try, thanks for sharing. Stay safe x
Whelp, just finished my first ever needle book. So. Dang. Cute. Thanks, Miss Lori, for providing this fantastic tutorial to help me make such a fun, useful and inspiring tool! Can’t wait for the tiny stork scissors and needle minder to arrive in the mail so I can tuck them into this little book 📖
That fabric holding the needle looks like wool felt - hmmm. I live in a very humid area. I learned the hard way to keep my needles in something to protect them from the humidity. If I do put them through a cloth (for the duration of a project) I use linen. It doesn't hold humidity the same way cotton and wool will. So many of my "rust proof" pins and needles that were kept in needle books like this ended up with a rough 'bump' of corrosion at the points where the metal met the fabric.
I love this needle book!!! I can not wait to make one. This is great for cross stitch too. Thank you Lori for the instructions. I have been enjoying all of your videos. You make sewing so fun. Stay safe. Thank you for another great video.
Hi Lori ! thanks a lot for this cute and super comforting video ! I really enjoyed your tutorial, it was fun and instructing ! You sewing corner looks so cute too ! Thank you for sharing
Thank you so much for another great project!! I will be making some of these for Christmas presents this year. This year we are doing a homemade/handmade Christmas for family. Hope you have a great day!!
LOVE it, now I want to make one with the fabric I have. This gives me inspiration. However, I do not know how to sew. I do not have a sewing machine but I may get myself one. I grew up with my mom sewing everything, but I could not seem to grasp how the sewing machine worked. You explained it very well, therefore, I think I can do it. Thank you..
What is to dislike about this cute lil needle book and your tutorial is very thorough. TFS!
This is one of the cutest sewing things I have ever seen
