Got mine few weeks ago. It was sold under the name Chery J6 here in Indonesia. But funny things it has icar “i” logo at the front, and the steering wheels, and also the software called jaecoo 😂. I think its bout name copyright here in Indonesia. Anyway, it cones with 2 specs here, the RWD single motor and the iWD dual motor. Has the same battery, the different is only the rims. In iwd trims we have 4 cooled seats with no heated (its very hot in here so we dont need it mostly) and also massage seats in front seats. Its not cheap tho as car prices isnt cheap in here, only slightly cheaper than a Hyundai Kona EV signature long range (the most expensive trims, and konas dont have awd options, and no massage seats). Its a fun and easy and quite surprisingly decent cars, the ride was good, the tech was okay, and its one of the most affordable and well equipped car in Indonesia EV market. The only things that i dont like is just the numb steering wheels, but the rest was surprisingy good
@che_1203 so far so good. Some minor glitches in software, but nothing too serious. Planning to bring it to chery dealership to have them check it out and activating phone app software as soon as possible
The J6 looks like a great car ! Can't wait to get my hands on the first EV 4-wheel SUV in Malaysia. Chery Malaysia said we will get it in the 1st quarter of 2025.
Thanks for this great video. I was wondering if this is the iCar 03. We have the iCar in Costa Rica, the only difference I can see is the useless storage box in the back.
Icar03 lists ground clearance as 170mm yet Jaecoo J6 comes up in searches as 200mm. This could be a terminology difference. I am hoping for decent ground clearance on Aussie version.
Really like this car - would be great for surf trips here in Australia. Do you know if in general these electronic doors have some manual overide on the inside if they fail?
@@electricelliotrichards That's EXCITING news. I had my doubts it would ever happen, back when you placed your order. I'm really looking forward to all the content you'll be making with it.
What would be a better value for $40k in your country? It costs around the same here in Costa Rica, but nothing compares for $40k, a Kia Sportage gas car costs $47k, it should cost $30k or less.
I'm so keen to see this in Aus, really hope it comes here!
Need more content!

Planning to buy as well in Surabaya. Any minuses in this car so far?

Better than all those Chelsea tractors, especially when they've never seen off-road.
Need this in Aus
If the AWD full spec car was for sale in the UK, I would buy it in an instant - Reminds me of a junior Defender EV

need one in california.. in white with black rims.
Singapore version even has massage seats - seriously cannot be beaten at this price
i love this car,we have develop many modification parts to improve the storage room
Interesting SUV!
The lack of any Aussie delivery news so far is disturbing my faith :(
will this be coming to the uk? thanks in advance.
dang you were struck by the copyright hitman, was it some music?
Craving one, since yesterday.

It is not useless, it is mainly used to store wet or smelly things, such as freshly caught fish, car wash supplies, umbrellas, and so on.

Where can I get one👌
But will the 4x4 version pull my boat off the beach and up the ramp like my RAV does? Certainly looks the part!
Can you get spares if you break it?
the torch is enough,we also have this bump in China, icar 03 is from CHERRY, don't worry about the spare parts,
thanks for sharing!

Yes they do. I wish they would make it a standard option.
This is icar 03 ?!
Yes, just another brand for overseas market.
Two litre turbo petrol awd would be a winner as well
I want one 😊
why does it look exactly like the chery iCar?
Jaecoo is Chery Sub brand. Jaecoo = Jaeger Cool = Cool Hunter
I still need one
What's the update on your ssc sc01 ev 2dr coupe?
Should be driving it within a few weeks, spoke to Feng Xiaotong last week about it.

Looks good
280kw in the dual motor is quite good
Deja vu?
IF I wouldn't be a happy owner of i3, I would take it as my daily. still too small for trips, but more practical than Defender90.
Hope it comes to Australia!
Great
Need in USA
Swap the JAECOO Logo on front to a smaller single crest logo and this will sell well all over EU ....
😵💫 .. 😱 wait what happen
that EV is Fully Charged 😉
$40000 in my country... Not worth at that price point
