I bought mine 14 years ago and I love it. The bracelet started to wear about 2 years ago so, now I have it on a rubber strap. I'm on only my third battery in 14 years and it really is the star of my collection.
Really good review here, I bought mine about five months ago in my local JS almost new looking, the box looked exactly like the one shone but I absolutely love this watch and was surprised that it was made around 2000+ 01 and really just looks great and runs as well.
I went with the automatic version, $1900 off ebay w/no box or papers. Condition nearly like new, except the lume on the indices no longer works. The 36mm Seamaster is the ideal size for me, and such a beautiful watch!
Have the automatic from new over 20 yrs now, the only issue I have is lack of any micro adjustments on the bracelet whatsoever, I don't know what Omega was thinking or how they have overlooked that .

The best part is they have all the looks without the maintenance costs.
you could get the bracelet fixed
@@jadwehbe_ I could but, I actually prefer it on a rubber strap. Never been a huge fan of bracelets and only got three of my watches with them.
How does the lume hold up?
@@patternview Still pretty good, better than some of my newer watches.

Beautiful watch. Worn this every day for last 15 years on a leather strap 🙌
This was my first proper watch. Still love it. Although it’s gone through a couple of batteries very quickly recently so may need a service.

lume no longer works? is that normal after 20 years or so?
I love my 2264.

Can you recommend any divers who have it? Certina DS Action Diver, Mido Ocean Star and the new Aquaracer have it. Other than that I dont know any.
The 'electric blue' dial version of this watch is so much better looking.
