I've had instant locs coming up on a year now, gotten 3 retwists with interlocking and crochet. They haven't really transformed into "normal" locs yet I feel. I wouldn't say they're stiff, but if I wanted to flip my front locs back so that they're not in my face, they just spring back down over my face. What should I try to do to make them more natural?
If you have instant loc How many months do you have to get your retwist done and also for retwist do you have to use the crotchet method or what methods do you have to use for the retwist? Thank you
Need help. My instant Locs puff out…like way too much. Only did one wash since I did them. When I sprayed water to moisturize, they puffed out after they dried. Will they ever be smoothe and uniform like natural Locs?
Yea. Takes time. I know they're called "instant " but they still have to mature. I've had locks for 8 months now and one thing I've learned is that unraveling and fizz will occur weather you like it or not, so Just enjoy your journey and don't stress.🙏🏽 Much love
I’m really late coming across your comment but I was like you when I did my first wash on instant locs. They were very puffy after the first wash. I got scared. After a few days they went back down to normal size. Even though they are called “instant” and you have the loc appearance, you still go through the stages. Your hair still has to become mature. Not sure if you kept going through the journey but I’m sure you might notice a difference even from when you wrote this comment. My hair hasn’t been loc’d very long but I’ve heard a lot of people say that after a while they do become more solid/denser.

Cap😂
Definitely not cap. My hair grew faster than hers. Some ppl just have growable hair.
He means you guys not mentioning how long it took for the fro y’all combined the times cause the fro growth is separate
@@yannickkelly71 why the fuck would they include the fro growth
